What do I enjoy most: the pace you're able to work at. You can push yourself, you can be injured and modify workouts, you receive encouragement regardless of the level. I love starting my morning with the 5:10am class. I enjoy the coaches and their energy. Coach Calley is the one I vibe with the most. Her positive yet I'm going to push you, give you hard time, and hold you accountable in a loving way drives me. She's always thinking of ways to make classes fun and hard at the same time. Trust me she will have you doing burpees by the time she's done with you. 5 out of 5 I recommend this gym. The split of boxing and strength classes helps you achieve your goals. There's a reason every person here wrote a 5 star review…read more I came to EDX on the recommendation of two friends to talk to Angelo about individual training. I was coming off a knee injury, had a handful of other aches and pains, and felt like my training (which I had been doing consistently for years), had started to plateau. Working with Angelo has been a game changer, and the depth of his fitness and coaching knowledge is absurd. Simply put, I've made measurable, significant gains in every area of my fitness. While I don't work directly with the other coaches or attend the classes (I use the open gym for the individual training plan Angelo writes for me) everyone on staff is friendly, helpful, and most importantly incredibly knowledgeable. There's no attitude here, just the expectation that you'll show up and work hard. Additionally - I've had multiple sessions with Liliana at EDX Bodyworks (the attached sports therapy clinic) - and she's a wizard, it's a great resource to have on hand for when tweaks and injuries pop up. I've been a member of probably 6 or 7 gyms, this is the best one yet, my membership will end when Angelo and Liliana decide to retire. No matter your fitness level, if you're serious about getting in shape do yourself a favor and give the EDX community a shot.

The trainers are not only extremely friendly, welcoming, and motivating, but their workouts are so creative and challenging. Every time I come in I'm given a new workout- they always keep it fresh. Throughout the pandemic they have done an excellent job at keeping the gym to capacity and increasing safety standards by distancing, requiring masks, and thoroughly cleaning each piece of equipment the SECOND after it's been touched. I started with Push to help rehabilitate from knee surgery (2 in the last year), and Marty is by far the best physical therapist i've ever been to. Each session is methodically planned to help not only strengthen my leg and enhance my mobility, but leave me feeling like I've done a full body workout. I came for Marty, and stayed for Kara and the rest of the trainers who continue to Push me twice a week towards my overall goals of strengthening my body after a rough year of surgeries.
