The ladies shoes are gorgeous and make you want to buy them even if you know you wouldn't ever wear them! The store is laid out in a manner to catch your eye with fancy styles. I'd previously only seen Schuh in Scotland, and it was a very welcome addition to the city. Schuh sells wearable fun fashion shoes - designers such as Red or Dead, Camper, Rocket Dog, Fly, Harlot, Converse - mostly for girls but with a good men's section too. This is now the first place I look for shoes in Exeter. The staff are helpful but not pushy and prices are competitive.

The main downside that I have found is that the floor is very slippy on the ground floor, so if you don't have very grippy shoes you could easily slip over, or if it got wet. Nicely laid out, with all the usual Debenhams stuff. There is a cafe on the top floor, with comfy seating, but it is quite small and seems to be quite expensive too. It's ok though, although queues always seem long!
