Tom Thumb is a tiny boutique on the sea front in Shaldon, a lovely little fishing village in the Torbay area of Devon. Although a fixture in the life of Shaldon for many years, Tom Thumb has recently come under new ownership who have greatly improved the range and display of the shop. The shop lives up to its name and has a tiny shop floor, however there is space for a decent sized fitting room at the back. The stock consists of mostly designer ladies' fashions and shoes, including the extremely popular (and essential for women over a certain age!) Not Your Daughter's Jeans (also known as Tummy Tuck Jeans). There is also a good range of shoes and boots and the owners have recently introduced a selection of beautiful handmade jewellery made out of sea glass collected from Shaldon's plentiful beaches.
