Impressive utensils and sauce station. They share a parking lot with surrounding businesses, but there were plenty of spaces available. I went here with some friends during Mile high Asian food week where they were offering a 15% off our meal. We went as soon as they opened for lunch and they were not that busy but the space inside is huge! Definitely could've accommodate a lot of people. The staff was really friendly and were able to answer any questions we had. They offer several different Soup bases, a good selection of meats, seafood, veggies, and four options for Noodles. You then can order ice cream at the end. I think their flavors changed so definitely check with the server. For the broth selection I definitely saw two that I could try so I'm excited to go back and give the other one a shot. For the meat selection they offered a really great variety. I don't eat seafood so I can't tell you if that was good or not. The vegetables that they offered were none that I would eat so I was a little disappointed in that. I love edamame, corn, and broccoli in my hot pot. For the Noodles, they only offered four options. I loved their utensil station! They offered so many plates, bowls, and sauce plates. And the utensils to help you get the food out of your pot! That's my number one thing is a utensil, I love a ladle to help me scoop anything I want out. The sauce station had a nice variety of seasonings and flavors available. They were quick to check on us to to see if we needed a refill on anything. Excited about an AYCE hot pot place opening relatively near me. It's taken over the old Chen's Kitchen and expanded some more. Making it a roomy and comfortable space to enjoy hot pot. Too bad that after we had it, we wish Chen's Kitchen was still around.... For a hot pot place, I thought their meats were sliced too thick. Now if this was a DIY BBQ place, I'd appreciate thicker slices of meats as they won't burn so easily. But for hot pot, the thinner the better. The sauce station looks as exiting as any hot pot place with a sauce station! But for some reason, we tried several different combinations of condiments, they did not enhance the meal. The broths were all pretty good and you get your own little pots for cooking. The soup is comforting, the space is comfortable to do hot pot in, the staff were friendly. New hot pot spot did not disappoint! A friend found the Hotpot Den via TikTok, so our book club group met up here for dinner. Overall- everything feels more elevated than your typical hotpot in Denver. The sauce station is thoughtful- everything you could think of- scissors to cut meats, tongs, soup ladles, extra bowls/plates. The food was soooo good! I got the pho broth- since most places don't offer it. I also tried my friends pork and spicy broths. The spicy is just the right level of spice. Definitely would recommend! read more

I have walked into this newly opened restaurant several times, but have never eaten here until today. This neighborhood AYCE hotpot place has been on my radar for at least a year or perhaps two years. Every time I stopped by to see the status, I always see the "coming soon" sign. However, about several weeks back when a friend told me she and her dad went there to eat hot pot, I was very excited to know they finally opened. And so, I went and checked it out myself. The first time I set my foot here, place was very quiet. Perhaps people gave up on waiting for the opening or perhaps the owner didn't do a great job advertising that the restaurant is now open and is operating with a full schedule, opening every day. Today, walking toward the restaurant, a big sign boated "GRAND OPENING", so there's no way diners would miss the place when they drive by, and plenty of free parking spaces for folks to park too. Going inside, the place has enough lights, but I wouldn't say it is well lit. However, diners do not have to use their phones to turn on the light just to look at the menu: menu has beautiful photos of the items to be added to their broth. My Tom Yum broth was deliciously flavorful with the items I added, including bok choy, brisket, string, mushrooms, pieces of taro, half of the crab, jumbo shrimp and my favorite noodle, udon. It was so good! Everything was fresh! Even the plates of meats, all rolled up and neatly arranged, looked very nice. We were here for almost 2 hours, just eating and enjoying the various conversations. The waitstaff was a group of young people whose job was to make sure we had a wonderful meal, so they get an A+ for being very attentive to our needs and being professional at the same time. I was really happy with the service as well as the food. They had a great variety of vegetables as well as seafood and meat without being overwhelming. The seafood, the ribeye the brisket all of it seemed very fresh and tasted great. I had the seafood broth which I thought was amazing. Actually the pho broth was really good for the children. It was very good! Far and above our experience at Chubby Cattle. The broths were all excellent. Husband got spicy miso, daughter got pork, and I got Tom Yum. Each of them was delicious. The meats were all good. I recommend the ribeye. And the seafood was a hit or miss. The seafood honestly tasted a bit old and the texture of the shrimp was mealy. The blue crab was not worth it at all--very fishy. The vegetables were plentiful and very fresh! Loved all the different greens they offer and three different types of mushrooms--all manageable sized to cook just right. The sweet potato was super dry even coming straight out of the broth, but yummy. I've been to so many different Asian restaurants in my life, and I still wish that they would offer fountain drinks instead of individual cans. Seems stingy when we're paying more than $30 per person. The condiment bar was also very impressive with the various sauces and toppings. The only sauce that I wish was better quality was the sesame oil. It tasted old too. Everything else seemed fresh--a curious thing was a tub of minced garlic that was from a jar and fresh minced garlic. Maybe people prefer the jarred garlic taste? I think I would swap out the jarred garlic for something more like lemon grass paste or fresh ginger. The place was not overly busy, but we ate dinner on a Tuesday just after the long weekend. The table could have been cleaner. There were bits of food on the edges of the burners. The burners were still slick with grease and there were dots of grease on the table and remotes for controlling the burners. Just a little more attention to cleanliness could help out. The staff were busy, friendly, and helpful. The overall experience was very good. A few tweaks and it could be a 5 star. I wish they would add more of a knife cut noodle or something between the side of a ramen noodle or udon noodle that was a wheat noodle. We'll for sure be back. read more

I came here for lunch with my family. The biggest tables can accommodate 8 hot pots. It is double the size of what the restaurant use to be prior to these new owners. It was a lot brighter and welcoming. I chose the pork broth due to recovering from a cough and it was just what I needed. We ordered fatty beef, fatty lamb, pork belly, ribeye and brisket. All were cut very thin and great quality. We also got the blue crab, shrimp and different fish balls. The seafood here is very fresh and delicious. The broths have more flavor and salt in them and it flavors the meats and seafood fairly well. We really enjoyed our meal here. The only drawbacks are how small each order of meats are, and their sauce station is minimal. Otherwise, this may be our go-to if we're not close to Denver. read more

Great new place here in Littleton, CO. I would recommend this place for those that have not tried hotpot before. Those that have, it was still delicious and I would come back. Quality of meat was on point after a few rounds. I recommend coming in a couple hours after they open. My family and I came right when they opened. Was provided meat that was frozen from day prior. I tried the Miso broth, spicy broth, tom yum broth and beef broth. All of the broths lack flavor except miso. If you get the tom yum, make sure you go to the condiment bar and grab a few slices of lime to add on to your broth for more of a real tom yum flavor. Service was great, you do have to ask for chopsticks. The condiment bars has the basic ingredients to make a good dipping sauce. The umami seasoning is MSG, which I loved. I tried hotpot for the first time last week at a popular place on Alameda near Federal. The food was delicious, but the restaurant was filthy. The bathrooms were dirty, and they reeked of sewage. I wanted to try other hotpot options, and found Hotpot Den to be a much nicer alternative. The place is new, is much cleaner, and the service was fantastic. As with last week, we ordered a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and noodles. My husband particularly enjoyed the lamb (not a lunch option at the other restaurant), ribeye and soba noodles, and my favorites were the mussels, shrimp and baby bok choy. I did prefer the peanut sauce and shrimp balls at the other restaurant, but Hotpot Den was my overall favorite by far. We will be back soon! read more

Excellent Food and Service! We went on opening night. It was wildly busy with a line out the door. Despite this, the servers did a great job keeping up and getting us seated quickly. During our meal they were highly attentive and checked in at the perfect frequency. The food was absolutely stellar as well. Both the gf and I thoroughly enjoyed the food we got. As far as price, that was reasonable too. Especially in comparison to other hot pot establishments. It is a spacious restaurant with a modern aesthetic and cool lighting.
