Kari, the property manager has been extremely helpful and willing to work with me through the process. She is always working and always has her door open to talk. Chaz is the maintenance guy and he is incredible. He is always working and cleaning in the building. I had a problem with the wood in the floor that he fixed that day. Silver lining: everyone else in the building is as well so the average tenant will be of higher education/success/respectfulness/etc than the other lower price points that might attract the rowdy's. The Hospital is right up the road and this apartment is between it and 705 so you will hear Sirens a few times a night. Being next to the hospital obviously has its perks if you have any health issues. Positives: The Staff, led by Ashley, is professional, always present, proactive, and helpful. Jose, the maintenance guy, is clearly capable and also very friendly. This may be violation of hiring laws but it does also appear that they only hire visually stunning people. The location. walk out the front door to a Starbucks, New and noteworthy German restaurant, large neighborhood grocery store, pet store, jimmy johns, Wright Park, and Orange Fitness. Walk a block or 2 in either direction and you have local favorite bars like the Parkway and Copper Door. Commuting south is amazing with 705 3 blocks away and bypassing the worse congestion of I5. It takes me less time to get to work than most of the people who live closer. The View. Depending obviously on your apartment you can get a decent view of the water, the Mountain and Wright Park. Even if your apartment doesn't have the best view, the 7th floor community area can see it all. The community areas. Has an on site elevated dog park with community grilling area. It has a decent gym and downstairs social area with cooking, drinking, and lounging areas. The best is the 7th floor covered community area with an amazing open air view, 2 grills, large tv, heaters for in the winter, fireplace, and lots of seating. You can rent it out for events and, other than a deposit you get back, it's free. One negative is that there is no bathroom so your guests will need to go down to your apartment for that. But really, what are the chances someone will need to pee? Security. The area is pretty safe, but the underground parking and controlled entry systems all but ensure that no one is getting in that shouldn't. A nefarious person would have to get through 2 locked doors and past security cameras before they even got to your locked door. One negative to this is that it is difficult for guests to get in. There is no way to buzz them in and no extra keys to let the borrow so you would need to escort them up. Once in they are good and can get our unassisted. The newness. Rarely do you get to be the first person to live in an apartment and right now here you can. Everything is in brand new condition and of high quality.

You will likely get towed if you use the back alleyway and moving trucks don't fit in the garage. See up to park on the street and use grocery cart to cut your stuff in through the garage through the building into the elevator when I got upset about the broken garage door opener they were extremely Rude, which made me say I was starting to think I had picked the wrong building to move into which they said I could kindly go find someplace else to live and illegally break my lease and they would keep my $750 deposit that I put down because when they do something shitty, they hand out apology cards with Starbucks cards in them signed by people that didn't even have the negative interaction with. I put a heavy duty air conditioner in my apartment and three box fans and still could not get it cool down because the building is poorly or not insulated at all when I reported to them about this, nothing was done and they did not care. Also, the second floor parking garage door constantly opens and closes and nobody is around leaving access for people to come in and break into cars. I might add that. I only live there for one year and my cat only lived there for four months. 500 pet deposit 250 hold 160$ cleaning = 910$ they part of the pet deposit to charge me for the five days extra they made me stay. I tried to move my move-in date even farther away than the fifth, but I protested because I had already moved clients hired Movers and rented a truck then told me that I could only move in between the hours of 5 PM on give me a loaner garage door opener but they handed it back the next day. I was not done moving and they said why aren't you done moving yet? Maybe it was because one of the two elevators were broken. This place looks good, but they will steal your deposit.

It has large windows, a lot of space and had brand new carpet when I moved in. The only minor critique I would make is the counter tops are Formica which cheapens the overall look of the apartment but I noticed they have been upgrading them in other units so it's only a matter of time before my unit gets them as well. The complex is incredible. You are literally feet away from a gym, moving theater, restaurants, hair salon, coffee shops and more. The complex also has a great game room, business room and new 24/7 package room. The on-site team is great! Amanda, Gabe and their office team are so nice and always willing to help. Maintenance is wonderful and often completed repairs same day. Overall absolutely loved living here. Would recommend this to everyone!

We have 2 dogs that don't pee on the carpet, they have a pee pad that we put in the corner, so the carpet was not affected by our dogs. Of the 12 months we lived there, 1 or both elevators was down in 6 different months. For the last month, both were out of their LNI inspection window. Im not usually nervous on elevators. Those ones made me understand that specific fear. Big time. Do you have a dog? Get ready to pay to have all your carpets replaced at a charge that is eye-watering! Ours is clean, never peed on anything, ever, and we still got to replace 100% of the carpets because they were apparently completely ruined. I want the old carpet then, if Im paying for it Bella. That carpet was fine. It can come live in my new place. Oh, and we got charged for odor treating those same carpets which feels weird to me, you know? Why are we paying to have carpets that are ruined and needing replaced get odor treated? Seems weird, doesnt it? Maybe the new carpets were stinky and needed odor treatment. Its probably on some level her job to keep ownership and their mass of ungrateful tenants at arms length from one another, but it can be pretty frustrating to deal with. And we had to. First they sent us a letter 4 months before the end of our lease saying we had 30 days to renew for a full year or we could get evicted. Felt a bit aggressive, but okay. I went to talk to Tovah, because at the time, we were on a timeline where the full year didnt make sense for us but we could do 6 months. We could even do 8. Tovah told me she couldn't do anything for less than 12 months because of WA states "new laws". She acted soooooo apologetic. How awful. Literally nothing could be done. Im still not sure what she meant there. Still cant find this new legislation restricting people from signing a lease less than 1 year. When I asked her what we should do, her honest to God advice was to just sign the new lease for a year and if we have to break it, do that (and pay a 3 month penalty of course, no big, youre good for that cash, right?) Uh, no. No way. Listen, Im writing this after receiving a pretty nasty email from them. I am bitter, I wont lie. But I dont usually do this either. I dont Review Bomb businesses. This one deserves it. I cant tell you how many conversations I had with other tenants that almost unanimously agreed that this place aint it. For one reason or another, every single tenant I talked to was dissatisfied and looking to move. One of my best memories of the place will be the day 6 of us got jammed up in the elevator as it clunked and clanked along for dear life, as we laughed about the entire experience. I've lived in apartments for the last 6-8 years and this will be the first time that I renew my lease at the same complex. First- The Apartments; They are great. I love the layout. You still have that "apartment vibe" but we have mostly new appliances(Except the dishwasher) and beautiful granite looking counter tops. The bedrooms are spacious and have large windows which is a huge plus as it floods the apartment with natural light. We have had no major issues with anything in the apartment, we've been able to fix everything ourselves. Management: I love Deanna, she is a great apartment manager. My favorite thing about her is her honesty, and her commitment to her job and the residents. Any issue I've had shes handled ASAP. She is available most of the time to answer questions and she always greets you from the her office when you walk into the club house. Cornelia is the front desk receptionist and she is always nice and willing to help. I haven't had a lot of interaction with her, but I do believe if I needed something she would help. etc: Parking can be a little annoying if you have more than one car. We pay for a covered parking spot for one spot and have had no issues with that. However the guest spots can get somewhat full so we've had to park our second car a little farther away. But it's not really an issue. Never takes more than a minute or two to walk back to the apartment. Rent is paid online, and the deadlines are set. They stick to the rules and policies here and in order for them to do their job they enforce them. Again, not an issue. But if you're someone that pays rent late, or has a bunch of reasons why you can't do something this is not the place for you. Theres a pool and hot tub. I've never used either but plan to this summer. They keep them clean and it never gets too crazy when I've passed by. I love this place. I'm excited to live here again and I really appreciate what the lengths that management goes to in order to keep this place a clean and safe community. I cannot recommend Stonegate enough. Although the property is off of Bridgeport, I couldn't hear any of the traffic echo to the back. Neighbors were friendly. There were three managers while I was living there but Deanna was the best communicator out of all of them. It was also getting a special rate for being a MultiCare employee here. The exit process was easy and we actually got a deposit back which is rare. Pool was nice and clean, however I wish it was open during winter since it's heated. The sauna and jacuzzi was open however! Parking was ok since I was a two car household. However most of the people are. Working opposite of everyone's schedule, sometimes I couldn't find any coming home but that's just me. Overall would move back if I came back to WA.
