They are quick to ask for your security deposit but slow to return it. It has been more than 45 days, and I haven't sewn it yet.

I moved in August 2020, the pool was hardly open and would be closed on major holiday weekends, the exercise equipment was not safe, the gate for the gated community was broken for months on end. They posted a rent increase notice the day after thanksgiving thus ruining the three-day weekend for everyone. I moved out on July 2nd 2022 after three rent increases within 9 months, they processed my statement saying I moved out on July 3rd so they charged me an extra day I didn't live there thus stealing money from Me. Me and my wife lived at Ridgedale for almost 4 years. It was awesome all the way through. Galina and Katherine were always friendly and helpful, maintenance was always responsive and quick. Ridgedale is an awesome community too live and you wouldn't be disappointed. The only reason I'm not giving a five star, they charged me my deposit to replace the carpet and cleaning. They charged me 65.00 just to clean the blinds....I don't blame Galina but I blame Dobler the management company. I assume they push to get as much money as possible. The carpet was bad when we moved in, Management even asked me to replace it before we moved in, but I said no for this exact reason. We have 2 dogs that don't pee on the carpet, they have a pee pad that we put in the corner, so the carpet was not affected by our dogs. So I just felt like I was given the blame because it was easy to do so. read more

Love living here! It's quiet, beautiful, and in a great area! I love the trees surrounding the buildings as it makes it feel like you aren't in the middle of the city, and I love how close it is to parks like titlow and chambers bay! My husband and I feel really safe here since its gated and in a great city. Also love the pool and fitness center! It's just a really great property! read more

I am not one to write bad reviews, but this is definitely an exception. I absolutely loved Ridgedale when I lived there. It was relatively quiet, decently safe for the area (although the gates rarely closed at night...), good size layout (though I did complain about the lack of storage space). I lived there for two years prior to purchasing my own home, and it was good...until move out time. I have an adult dog who is house trained, but since I HAD a dog, the apartment manager, Galina, was out to get me before she even stepped foot into my apartment. She complained about how it smelled like dog before she even got in there. The outside smells are NOT my problem. In addition, my mom was with me, and she has a VERY sensitive nose. She always tells anyone if their home smells like pets, and she said it had no smell at all. Anyway, she had this stick thing that apparently measures moisture in the padding under the carpet. She said that my dog peed over the ENTIRE CARPET!! There is no way my dog peed EVERYWHERE. Then she proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't know when my dog peed on the floor because I'm never home. First of all, how does she know my schedule?! Second of all, how does she know where I keep my dog when I am at work? Long story short, DEMAND the moisture stick thing on your move in inspection, and BE THERE when she does it. I am 90% sure there was a crack in the foundation allowing moisture in because there was a large spot that would appear on the carpet when it rained. I was charged for the replacement of the entire carpet, which I'm am certain it was time to replace it anyway). I also had my apartment cleaned prior to moving out. It was spotless except for a hair she found on the freezer. I was still charged $120 cleaning fee. With that and the carpet, they are making me pay almost $300 on top of my deposit and pet deposit (which apparently is just a "privilege" to have my pet there). Oh, and if you refer someone to live there like I did, they will not give you a referral bonus when your friend signs the lease like they promised. If you don't mind paying for their pre-scheduled renovations, then by all means live there. read more

HORRIBLE.!!!!!!!!!!!!! do NOT live here. I lived here for 2 years with my boyfriend. When we moved in it was great! really friendly manager and staff, great price for rent, great amenities! We paid first and last months rent and a security deposit, signed a year contract then got our keys and moved in! After a month, we went to pay rent and the office had closed early for the day... at 2PM... when they are supposed to stay open until 5PM. Therefore, we dropped our rent checks that we sealed in an envelope in the drop box just like the manager told us to if the office was closed. Turns out they had "LOST" my check but got my boyfriends. So they posted a three days to pay rent or vacate on our door the following night and a 100$ late fee notice. I tried to prove to them with a carbon copy that I had paid and they said " they would do their best to investigate the situation..." they never "FOUND" the check so I had to spend 31$ for a stop payment, write another check & pay 100$ late fee. About 6 months later, maybe even sooner that manager got fired...they had 3 different managers over the 2 years that we lived there and countless different assistant managers. Every time I called the office because of a complaint, work order, or question, I always got sent to voicemail and I would leave messages but no one would ever return my call. The office frequently closed early. Many times the gym, pool, and tanning bed were closed down during "open" hours with no specification of why or when they would be open again. The apartment complex is fully fenced with a gate at the front but the gate was constantly broken. After a year, we had gotten a cat... So, we went a paid a pet deposit of 300$ and the assistant manager told us as long as there were no damages from the pet it was given back in full. We gave our notice that we were moving out, deep cleaned the apartment, replaced all burnt light bulbs and broken blinds, and shampooed the carpet. We did our final walk thru and gave our keys back.. they told us to expect a check within a week for the security and pet deposit. Almost 3 weeks later, we finally got a check. The check was 120$, they took 230$ for blind cleaning ( THEY WERE BRAND NEW BLINDS), shampooing carpets and "other repairs" and we never got our pet deposit back because they had changed their policy to make it a pet fee instead of a deposit which was not disclosed to us when they changed it. We gave our keys back at the beginning of the month but paid for the full month, they told us they had a waiting list and would get someone in their as soon as possible and prorate us back... that also never happened! To top if off... as I just stated... we paid in full for our last month of rent but as I also stated in the beginning... we paid first and last months rent when we moved in. They didn't have on file that we paid last months rent when we moved in. Bank statements and money order receipts weren't enough proof that we paid. Therefore, they got 842$ twice from us for our last months rent. Not only did I try and speak with someone in the office about ALL of these issues but I tried contacting DOBLER MANAGEMENT and never got any response. So I HIGHLY suggest living somewhere else or buying your own home !!! read more

I moved in this last April and I love it! It's very quiet and I love all of the accommodations. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a very cute little apartment community. The pool is nice the have and the fitness center is great to work out at to get into shape. Wish they had 2 treadmills, but I'm glad they are open late, so you get a variety of times to go work out. read more
