Pros - great location, the staff was friendly, the room was decently clean, beds were basic but comfortable, the style/design is funky and fun, loved having a balcony. The 30 min couples massage at the attached spa was well worth it after a weekend full of hikes and Alhambra exploration.
Cons - the all-in-one soap in the bathroom truly smelled like fish [it was very weird], but it got us clean just fine. The parking is super limited, we tried to reserve a spot, but they were full so the nearest lot if about an ~8min walk and is more expensive, but that's fine, parking in Granada is tough.
What was upsetting during our stay, was that the card reader into our room broke and we were locked out of our room after coming back from dinner for our second night there. The desk staff was helpful with getting us a toothbrush and a different room to sleep in. But we were about 10 hours without any of our things - pajamas, toiletries, our dogs food, vitamins, chargers, computer etc. Maintenance came out in the morning to fix the door. I don't think there's anything else the staff could have done in the moment, but what's upsetting is paying full price for that experience. The Director, Frederico, gave a free cup of coffee as our consolation for the significant inconvenience of the hotel having a problem that kept us out of our room for the entire night. Because it was the hotel's error, I think that demonstrates very poor customer service to still charge us the full cost of the stay. read more
