I love the area of Saint Germain des Pres; this is definitely my favourite area to stay in Paris. Hotel Lenox Saint Germain was a great hotel but now it is getting even better. The location is unbeatable. The street of the hotel is a quiet one being one-way and having slow traffic so sleeping is excellent with additionally excellent bed quality. All around the hotel you have tons of fabulous places to drink, eat and party. I like The Montana, rue Saint Benoit, to drink and in the night to party hard; La Palette, rue de Seine, close to M° Odeon, typical french bistro always full and lively with a terrace; la Brasserie du Comptoir, Odeon, best french food on earth; Le Lup, rue du Sabot, super varied carte so can please everyone day and night; Le Pub Saint Germain. But going back to the hotel which was famous in the past for its 30's style jazz bar where all the celebs were coming, all its bedrooms have been entirely redecorated and refurbished last year and it's lovely, modern, trendy and super comfortable. read more
