The hotel is about only 10 minutes from the airport and provides free shuttle service. I wish I could say nice things about the shuttle driver; however, we found him to be extremely rude. He refused to wait 1 minute for my son in law to get down from their room. He just took off as we approached the van. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone wanting to have quick access to the airport for a flight.

However the service in this hotel was also bottom. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers a hotel shuttle, the rooms are quite large and clean. But that's about all you can expect - the rooms has no frills (but working airco), no soap or anything in the bathroom. There is an outdoor terrace which has no service and was filthy when I was there: many empty glasses etc. I didn't try the food buffet because it looked quite uninspiring and relatively high priced. I stayed on a Sunday evening so the mall next door was closed and the only food options were McD, Taco Bell and some local sandwich chain restaurant. Not bad if you consider the price but wouldn't stay again.

I had a Chicken Club sandwich in the restaurant and we ordered drinks and all was pretty good, free shuttle to the airport and shuttle to Ramblas for 8 Euros round trip, next to a mall with a few shops, small restaurants and huge grocery/department store, spa and spacious gym with ample equipment, deck with nice views and great place to have a drink. For Improvement -shuttle from the airport depending on the time (afternoon) can have a long wait-we waited 45 minutes. (If one of your selling points is free shuttle and close proximity to the airport get a second bus if necessary-(another airport hotel shuttle came around twice while we were waiting), no iron in the rooms (and can't get one after 8 pm as housekeeping has left for the day), if you have to call the hotel don't bother with the English option-doesn't get answered, If you get a room for 3, you are not getting a bigger room but an extra cot/portable bed in a room with a double bed-so very tight. Overall, okay if you are staying for a night or two and need to be close to the airport.

The room was very comfortable and the WiFi worked!! There is also a bus stop about 2 minutes from the hotel to go to Barcelona--which we did to get a last meal of Black Rice--took us 30 minutes but very well worth it and the cost of the roundtrip bus ride was only 4.30 Euros. They do have a wakeup service and the shuttle back to the airport was on time and very comfortable. Price was very reasonable and will definitely stay here again on my trip back to Barcelona when I need to be close to the airport.

Disregard the note on their site that check-in is not 24h - I contacted them to confirm there's always someone at the front desk. Unfortunately they didn't respond to my question about how to find them within the airport. Assuming you're staying in between flights, you'll have to exit and then re-enter security. To find the hotel, go down to the main floor where families meet arrivals and then back through the cafe area to the back wall. To your right (after the Caixa bank) there should be a set of doors and walk way leading to a new building with the Business Center, which is where the hotel is. Our room reeked of unidentifiable food from check-in through the morning, so much so that I was worried it would permeate my hair and clothes. We were also greeted by several flies in our room. There is no duvet, only a sheet. To suffice, we pulled out a nasty blanket from the closet and laid it on the lower half of the bed. The shower door doesn't close and its lining isn't sealed tight so water leaks out, covering the entire bathroom area. The hair dryer overheats and shuts off after ~30 seconds, which means it took 20 minutes (mostly waiting time) to dry my hair. The room is actually not too tiny, even for 2 people. So if you've got a quick turn between flights, it may be worth sucking it up (and forking over the $$$). But if I had to do it again, I'd rearrange our itinerary and stay offsite.

A rather small hotel by comparison, with only two floors, a limited amount of secure private parking below ground and an on site restaurant. A large backyard pool area with maintained grounds and gardens all inside a secure fenced area. The hotel rooms are small but comfortable, and our king bed with a direct sea view met the needs for our overnight stay. Comfortable bed but the pillows were ridiculously large oversized and not really comfortable for sleeping. The oversized pillows were odd for the room and seemed like a wierd choice. Parking is limited, and a cost of 24€ a day. The restaurant and bar are comfortable and the food and service is good. Their elevators were abnormally small but at least for one couple it was fine with luggage. I think we checked in a bit early & yay our room was ready. Walls were a bit thin but we still managed to get a decent night's rest. We were able to order happy hour like food like wings, chicken nuggets, fries & salads downstairs at the bar area to eat in our hotel room. Thank goodness. We were too tired to go out. Food was delicious too & ready quite quickly! Our room included complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning. Eggs, bacon, cheese, croissants & fruit were served as well as yogurt. We were satisfied! Yay. We would return for the convenience of being close to the Barcelona airport if needed.
