This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at; practically a flop house. A beautiful old building that is very run-down. Had to call to get someone to come check us in. They keep the room keys in lock boxes on the door knobs. Used the elevator once when the owner took us to the room but didn't trust it after that. Everything was grubby and there were no wash clothes, extra toilet paper, soap, etc. The bathroom fixtures were stained and there was no hot water. Front door is open all night and most of the place seems to be low income housing. If I'd had any options I wouldn't have stayed. The topper is that I had prepaid through Travelocity in June and the day after the stay my card was charged an extra $86.00. There was nothing redeeming about this hotel. read more

Not like the fancy hotel chains but with very comfortable beds. The room was very clean to say the least. The wait to check in was about 10min but well worth it. I recommend this hotel to my friends looking for a clean budget stay. read more

I feel bad ever complaining about having a bed to sleep in, but the pillows were absolutely terrible. They felt like styrofoam that your head doesn't really sink into. I woke up sweating because the mattress and pillow protectors (under the sheets) were not breathable at all. The room wasn't awful, but our bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned. There were new packages of soap on the sink, but there were also a bunch of hairs from where someone trimmed their beard. Lots of hair in the bathtub too. Just made me have doubts about how clean the rest of the room was. We could also very clearly hear people talking in the next room. Thankfully turning on the ac drowned it out a little. The check-in process, if you arrive after 3, is that you have to call a number and it feels like you are checking in by talking with someone who is at home. The building has the potential to be really cool, and it looks like an effort was made to update the rooms, but if the bathrooms were updated and cleaned, it would be way better. read more

If you walk through the front door of this fake hotel you will regret it for the rest of your life. Run away from this place as fast as you can and don't take your wallet out of your pocket. There will be a charge for doing that. read more

This is a room for rent. No staff. Jim will steal your money if you give more than 1 card number he will double charge you. My room smelled like vomit and was promised a refund. As you can guess I was double charges. $172 on my incidentals card for a room I did not stay in. No parking, you park on the street if you can find a spot. 1 star rating is 2 stars too many for this joke. He is probably collecting card numbers to commit fraud in the future. Karma will get you parasite!! read more
