This hotel is rather difficult to find because it is located at the end of a side alley, though the hotel sign hangs up high, European style.
The rooms are small but exactly as shown in the pictures. Rooms off of the inner courtyard are naturally more quiet than the ones on the road. The amenities are fine, But in my room the shower fan did not work, which adds to the moisture in the air. Fortunately, the city of Rome cools at night. We are visiting here in September, with 80s during the day and 50s in Fahfrenheit temperatures at night, just perfect for tourism.
Large lobby to convene and rest is nice, with a small outside courtyard.
The location is great, with the Colliseum about 10 minutes walking away. And you can walk to most important original Roman archtecture for viewing and imaging how it should have appeared all those millenia ago. An interesting tidbit to know is that the Forum of Augustus is lit up at night with laser lights, for free to view along the walkway.
Breakfast is typically Italian, with lots of sweet pastries, a few different types of meat cheese and tomatoes, which are incredibly delicious in Italy.
For the price it's a good place to say. read more
