I've been going to Tossa for years and always stay with Dante Hotels but usually Tossa's Hotel Diana. I usually get a room facing the water and can't say enough about that great hotel and great service. But our close friends always stay at the Hotel Delfin, Diana's sister hotel. This October we went to Tossa after a 2.5 year hiatus due to the pandemic. We haven't seen our friends and decided to be flexible and stay with them at the Delfin. I was really very, very happy there. The room was spacious and we faced the street with a nice terrace with chairs we could sit out in. It's just a block or so from the beach and there are many, many great things about this hotel. The breakfast is scrumptious and great! service. They have just completed a pool on the roof to add to the jacuzzi. The pool looks out over the building tops and a great continuous view with the Mediterranean in the distance. The bar on the roof is brand spanking new and serves drinks and food. It was October, and the town is quiet, it is still a great place to visit. Our room service was excellent, the room kept spotless. The front desk staff are very helpful. A half block down the street is a new, modern laundry and a relatively new burger place next to the laundry which is just excellent (great shrimp appetizer). At the end of the block is a two story grocery store which is super convenient and the second floor has lots of dry goods and pretty much anything you might need away from home. If you walk out the front door and down straight a half block is a really good sandwich place that is open til 1am, great for midnight snacks. I love this hotel as you can tell. While I love so much about the Hotel Diana, the Hotel Delfin is an excellent alternate and has many strengths that off set not being oceanfront. read more
