We stayed at Pineda Palace a 4 star hotel as is Royal Beach, Both hotels have good friendly staff ,lunch always seems to be the best meal of the day although breakfast and dinner are fine if sometimes a little on the cool side, there are microwaves to zap your food if you think it needs it. you need to book lunch out a day ahead. This hotel chain is well worth trying

This hotel was also in a different town than we were supposed to be in. It is classed as a 4 star, but believe me, a UK 2 star had more on this place. I think Spain's starring classification is very very different to ours! The staff were unhelpful, to the point of sheer unadulturated rudeness, the food was bland and boring (as it's an all inclusive hotel, all the food was buffet style), and near enough the same everyday. Certainly watch out if you're a vegetarian, they do not think of you at all! There is no lounge to sit in, the reception area just has a few tables with hard wooded chairs, as does the bar & restaurant. Not one comfy chair in the whole of the hotel. It was like something out of a 70's holiday camp! All in all, the worst holiday I have ever had.

The location of the hotel is good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the main high street and about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. There is a shop next door which sells essentials such as water, cigarettes, food, etc. There are tourist shops around the hotel but the hotel is situated in a quiet part of Lloret without being too far from the beach and shops.

The bathrooms have great water pressure, plenty of hot water, and a bidet. We booked the family suite (I think there are only 3 of them) for our family (2 adults, 15 yo and 19 yo) and didn't feel cramped. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach or old town, and not so close to the bars that noise is a problem. Staff was both pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar is a nice retreat from the crowds and offers sweeping views of Tossa de Mar. Finally, the breakfast buffet is elegant and delicious, offering fresh eggs, waffles, smoked salmon, croissants, Nespresso machine, etc. If we ever return to Tossa we'd definitely stay at Hotel Delfin.

The elevators bounce and are scary and not nearly enough for how many people that are there when they book multiple youth sport events combined with masses of old people tours. The rooms are worse than a run down college dorm and the pillows were cast in concrete. Showering ability is questionable and we wouldn't walk the floors without something on our feet. Unless your really want to play a youth sports tournament in this town and it's a required stay and play....its a must avoid at all cost.

We ended up going here our very first night in town when we were all exhausted and sleep deprived. I must say, it may have been our first dinner in Spain, but it was also our best. Pitcher upon pitcher of sangria and food that tasted like it someone's grandmother prepared it with a ton of love. Everything about this place felt like we were guests in someone's home. The service was tremendous and they tried their best to explain things to us that we weren't quite getting. The acorn fed Iberian ham was melt in your mouth good. The seafood was delicious. We really soaked in our first night here and felt so welcome. If I'm ever back this way I'm 100% going back. If you ever get to Lloret de Mar and want to get away from the touristy spots, this is a good place to check out. Loved it.
