This is my hardest review to write. Positives first: It is a family run hotel and the they are great. The breakfast buffet is tasty and has a lot of variety. Most of all, the location is perfect for getting anywhere downtown in Florence quickly.
Now the rest: The rooms are disaster. The second 'bedroom' was a mattress on the ground in a converted closet. The bathroom was a drop-in from what looked like an RV. You had to step into the shower just to close the door. The master bedroom was fine for space, but the cigarette smoke from the street (3 stories below) comes right in despite the window being closed and the mattress springs come right into your back. While you do save a few dollars, this is a struggle for the advertised '3 star hotel'. read more
