Super clean, great restaurant inside the hotel. Located very close to Calgary airport. We would stay here again. The front desk were extremely friendly and helpful.

Nearly Same bed photo as the last one I did years ago. Nothing changes except the price and freebies.

Time for an update to this place. It's been a couple of years and a bit since my first review. Let's drop a star. Not because the hotel is older and such, but more along the line that they have pulled back on some of the perks that there was before. Gone is the fridge full of snacks. Gone is the complimentary slippers, complimentary booze, and other little perks that I really liked during my first stay. I know that times are a changing and sometimes you need to save a buck or two, however, in an industry of copycat airport hotels, you need those little things that differentiates you. Comfort and perks makes me happy. One amazing plus for staying in this hotel is the shower. A lot of you know that I gripe about having to beg for a weak stream of piss warm water to wash myself. Not here. Welcome to a shower panel that offers a rush of hot massaging heat and a mid body spray that relieves that back of sitting pains. Ahhhh! Though I'm a bit miffed at losing some perks, the Clique/Allure hotel will still be my place for airport accommodations at YYC. Cheers!

I've stayed here twice now and have been pretty happy each time. Staff had always been extremely friendly and welcoming. Looks and feel has been pretty top notch. Love the lights under the bed hahaha though my sensor was no where to be found so I couldn't change the color. No big deal. I'll live. The bed is low, which I love, but be aware because some don't like that. Shower was a magical experience. I almost called my company and told them I wasn't coming to work cause I didn't wanna get out of that shower. Towels were a bit old and rough, but the comfy robes made up for that. Restaurant onsite is definitely worth visiting. Great food.

Helpful staff, clean and modern room with good breakfast. Note: Applause hotel and Clique hotel is same building and shared the same hot tub, gym and restaurant which located in Clique Hotel. We walked in to front desk with a very relaxed and happy atmosphere, staff were all smiles and was ready to help with check in. Check in was smooth and everything was explained well, from hot tub/ gym hours to what's available in the hotel. We originally booked both hotel with one night stay each, staff explained that the only difference is the walk in shower and tub, and so we decided to stay at the Clique side with tub and they were kind enough to make that happen right away as there were rooms available. Room was decent sized and you can see the hotel have put thoughts to make their guests feel welcomed, they have bottled water available as well as mini mentos by the beds. Washroom is spacious and equipped with TV, only down side is the TV is very high up so not my height, and it's best viewing angle is in the shower. Beds were clean and definitely no strange smell, we did find a piece of gum underneath a painting and as soon as we call front desk someone came to clean it up right away, but to be fair, you need to be toddler height to see it or even notice it. Definitely not a usual spot for room cleaning staff. Hot tub is on roof top, gets cold but they have heated mat as well as pixie glass to surround the 2 tubs, you can feel the chill but it's comfortable as soon as you get into the water, it's amazing to be able to see planes fly by while you sit in the tub, tub is a big on the smaller side but since we are at a not very busy time of year we get the tubs to ourselves. Gym is small as well with few equipments, but they prepared towels as well as refrigerated water for your use, so that's a bonus as well. Overall this is a wonderful hotel to stay and we will definitely go back and recommend our family and friends. They also have apples and flavoured water available 24 hours in the lobby. In addition, they also have a mini DVD library, filled with fairly recent releases. Just pick and ask hotel staff for the actual copy and return after finish. Very nice touch!!

We have a winner! Last day of our trip to Banff National Park, we chose to stay very near the airport to make our next day return trip super convenient. We rented a suite, only for one night, but it was really clean, modern, comfortable, and somewhat chic. The neon lighting around the bad was totally groovy as well! 3 TV's in the suite, including a tiny one in the bathroom. Neve expereinced that one before, had to watch the news in the early morning from my shower! The cupboards we filled with plates and utensils, so we brought take out chineses food back to the room, enjoyed chowing down at the huge dining area table, complete with cloth napkins! We do plan on returning to Banff National Park, and again we will stay here the night beofre our flight because this place was really cool!

Love the hotel. Even when not flying I stay here. Great comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and inviting. Little off the beaten path but food is close by. The restaurant is not the best but the staff is friendly and great. The hot tub on the roof is great and one of my favorite things. Free towels there to use and it's just fun soaking in the cold air as the planes fly over. It's a value as well

Never have I ever stayed in a hotel where the bed lights up. Until now. Hotel Clique definitely breaks the mold when it comes to airport hotels. Trendy, upscale touches without a hefty price. Reminds me a lot of the Aloft brand that you find in the US. I stayed one night and made the most of it, taking advantage of the crazy awesome shower with five different settings and a tv to watch while you bathe! The king bed was so comfy! Giant tv in the main area with HGTV. All good things. I'm not giving 5-stars because the hallway noise was fairly significant. It woke me up a few times. That and the front desk staff seemed stressed out for no particular reason. Beyond that I enjoyed my quick stay at this new hotel in Calgary.

Very nice hotel, middle of no where A few noise issues with 6 am jets screaming overhead Quick friendly checkin Nice beds and excellent air con heater controls I recommend if you shuttle there and shuttle back to the airport. Otherwise surrounded by nothing, no shopping etc

The building also includes a nice gym, laundry room with a good number of washers and dryers, and even a first-come first-serve "office" room on the first floor which we ended up using for when we needed to take calls. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we really appreciated the quality and the options of what was available (from standard continental breakfast fare to waffle machines, eggs/bacon/sausage/tater totes, to oatmeal and congee). Coffee was not our favorite but the good news is there are plenty of wonderful cafe options outside the hotel. The hotel has both valet parking and self-parking options available. The self-parking option that is affiliated with the hotel is outdoor parking that is located a little distance away from the property. There is a second self-parking option (Indigo Neo) that is underground and part of the property but is not at all affiliated with the hotels. We chose the Indigo Neo option for convenience. Payment was license-plate based and managed online--the hotel staff were really great about emphasizing the need to remember to pay for the parking as Indigo Neo team are strict about ticketing those who don't pay. Service was 5+ stars. All of the team members from the front desk to the chef team and wait staff to the valet were all very kind, courteous and accommodating. The team was extremely proactive when they noticed that our in-room phone line had static and within minutes, maintenance was at our door. And when our trip had to be extended by one extra day due to an unexpected situation, the front desk team (Mercedes) was so patient and helpful in helping us navigate the situation and resolve it. At breakfast, I even heard the head chef agreeing to help a student sports team get breakfast and make it to their game on time by coming in earlier than usual. Amazing kindness by the whole team! Location is great with plenty of places to eat (pro-tip: Noble Pie is a block away and a must-try pizza spot) and shops that are walking distance away. Some blocks are rougher than others but nothing unexpected for a city. Great place for work or play. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Calgary!

Other than that, the rooms are nice, with everything you would need if you were there for a long stay, including a kitchen with a full fridge and dishwasher. The bar has some good that was ok, nothing great and the service is slow. Since it was the weekend, the rate was reasonable. At check-in, we were given free water bottles and our room was on the 9th floor. One of the elevators was out of order but the waits weren't long. I didn't know there was a restaurant so that was convenient for our dinner. That evening, we noticed that the bedsheet was coming off the bed and we tried to get it back on the corners but with no luck. The heater was blasting cold air. With these issues, we had someone come up. He explained the temperature control was missing a setting that would turn off the fan. He tried to put the bedding on but wasn't able to and said it was due to bedsheets shrinking in the wash. Should that get larger bedsheets to fit over the mattress? They moved us to another room which was better as the bedsheets didn't reveal the mattress. There was a sofa which was better for one person to watch TV. From the bed, the TV had to be turned and the position wasn't ideal for all viewpoints. We had a large fridge, stove top, cups, plates, and cutlery. The shower was nice but to turn it on, you would get splashed by the water so you may get a blast of cold water. Our room was above the train so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The gym was nice but two of the ellipticals' displays didn't work. The pool and hot tub also looked nice but the water in the hot tub wasn't very hot and just one jet that was powerful and the rest didn't seem to work. I also saw a large bug on the pool deck but luckily it did not join me in the hot tub. The hotel restaurant was ok. It was busy for one server so the service wasn't excellent. They have happy hour specials so we did get a discount off of our drinks. The location was convenient to walk to the Saddledome and there's a Superstore a block away.
