Great service from the front desk. The building is much nicer now that they've renovated. The pool has good hours. The gym is solid. Direct access to the +15 from the 2nd floor which is convenient. The cons: they could do a better job cleaning. I found makeup on a "clean" towel, hairs in the bathroom, and crumbs (from our takeout) were still on the carpet in the living room area of our room after cleaning service. If you are Bonvoy Elite: make sure you go to the Elite Pantry (lounge) on the 24th floor. It's 24h access. It's definitely one of the better 24h lounges. Has water bottles, so many options of pop, coffee (it's a single cup machine), teas, bread, bagels, peanut butter, jams, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, charcuterie meats, ice cream sandwiches, Fiasco sorbets! We were staying on the 25th floor so it was convenient to just go down the stairs to the Elite Pantry.

The splendor of this magnificent hotel is only slightly tainted by the rude greeting I got by one of the concierge staff at the very beginning. I walked through the door and since I've never been to a fancy hotel before I had questions. They were sort of rudely answered. I didn't know what she was talking about. What did she mean I have to tap the hotel key to the elevator? Huh? The staff member looked at me and replied condescendingly. But with a few apologies and humble replies from me the lady then decided to show me how to use the hotel key. You tap it to the black box next to the elevator and then choose which floor you want. It's very high tech. The hotel decorations are so beautiful. I enjoyed the pantry in the executive lounge and the view from the 17th floor of the hotel. The room is so spacious and elegant. It was quiet and calming in my room. The next day the cold air of winter caused me to get sick and nauseous and the concierge members responded by giving me a free wellness tea from Starbucks and chicken soup broth made especially for me. They brought the items up personally to my room. I was very impressed by how sweet the morning and afternoon staff members were to me. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever been to.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we had a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff was friendly and had us checked in fairly quick. Their self parking is super easy with an underground lot and elevator access that takes you directly into the lobby. We originally booked a king bed guest room although since I was a platinum Convoy member, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom junior suite. We also received access to the Elite Lounge on the 24th floor, which was a very nice perk as we didn't even now this hotel had a lounge. The room was great and had a good amount of space. It also felt clean, which in this day and age is always a plus. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of counter space for our items. The living area had a few seating options as well as a nice sized desk. The couch even pulled out into a sofa bed which could be good for small families. The bedroom had a good amount of space and the bed itself was very comfortable. The main reason for not giving 5 stars was due to there being a fire station right at the bottom of the hotel. So all throughout the night, you heard the sirens blazing as they rolled out of the station. Nothing a little white noise machine couldn't help but still was a little annoyance from time to time. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay here and would most certainly stay here again when our travels bring us back to Calgary.

Was really excited when we found a really decent rate for the Delta Marriott in Calgary for our trip! Our stay here was great. Because the room rate was so cheap, we opted to go with the valet parking and it was definitely worth it- it saved us a lot of hassle was a nice little treat. The staff was great; everyone was very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The inside of the hotel itself is a little dated, but while chatting with one of the employees, she mentioned that they just go the approval for renovations, so it will be nice to see this location get a face lift! Everything was clean and comfortable- no complaints there! One of the best things- for us- was the pool hours. While it wasn't a 24 hour pool, it opened at 6am and didn't close until midnight. So even though we didn't get back to the hotel until 9pm, we could still use the facilities. Unfortunately, there isn't a free breakfast, but as we were brunching at the zoo, that didn't make a difference to us. All in all this was a great stay. Comfortable and relaxing, close to everywhere we needed to go, and a great price!

Amazing view of the city and Calgary tower. Standard double bed Room not very spacious. Bad experience with the fire alarm going off after midnight. I would give it another try though.

The building also includes a nice gym, laundry room with a good number of washers and dryers, and even a first-come first-serve "office" room on the first floor which we ended up using for when we needed to take calls. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we really appreciated the quality and the options of what was available (from standard continental breakfast fare to waffle machines, eggs/bacon/sausage/tater totes, to oatmeal and congee). Coffee was not our favorite but the good news is there are plenty of wonderful cafe options outside the hotel. The hotel has both valet parking and self-parking options available. The self-parking option that is affiliated with the hotel is outdoor parking that is located a little distance away from the property. There is a second self-parking option (Indigo Neo) that is underground and part of the property but is not at all affiliated with the hotels. We chose the Indigo Neo option for convenience. Payment was license-plate based and managed online--the hotel staff were really great about emphasizing the need to remember to pay for the parking as Indigo Neo team are strict about ticketing those who don't pay. Service was 5+ stars. All of the team members from the front desk to the chef team and wait staff to the valet were all very kind, courteous and accommodating. The team was extremely proactive when they noticed that our in-room phone line had static and within minutes, maintenance was at our door. And when our trip had to be extended by one extra day due to an unexpected situation, the front desk team (Mercedes) was so patient and helpful in helping us navigate the situation and resolve it. At breakfast, I even heard the head chef agreeing to help a student sports team get breakfast and make it to their game on time by coming in earlier than usual. Amazing kindness by the whole team! Location is great with plenty of places to eat (pro-tip: Noble Pie is a block away and a must-try pizza spot) and shops that are walking distance away. Some blocks are rougher than others but nothing unexpected for a city. Great place for work or play. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Calgary!

But once you get the hang of it, not too bad. The other thing to note is the homeless population in the area. There are a lot. Other than that, the rooms are nice, with everything you would need if you were there for a long stay, including a kitchen with a full fridge and dishwasher. The bar has some good that was ok, nothing great and the service is slow. The only thing that was exceptional was the free breakfast, lots of options, including more of a dinner option like tikki masala or taco stuffs. A nice surprise and comfort!

Since it was the weekend, the rate was reasonable. At check-in, we were given free water bottles and our room was on the 9th floor. One of the elevators was out of order but the waits weren't long. I didn't know there was a restaurant so that was convenient for our dinner. That evening, we noticed that the bedsheet was coming off the bed and we tried to get it back on the corners but with no luck. The heater was blasting cold air. With these issues, we had someone come up. He explained the temperature control was missing a setting that would turn off the fan. He tried to put the bedding on but wasn't able to and said it was due to bedsheets shrinking in the wash. Should that get larger bedsheets to fit over the mattress? They moved us to another room which was better as the bedsheets didn't reveal the mattress. There was a sofa which was better for one person to watch TV. From the bed, the TV had to be turned and the position wasn't ideal for all viewpoints. We had a large fridge, stove top, cups, plates, and cutlery. The shower was nice but to turn it on, you would get splashed by the water so you may get a blast of cold water. Our room was above the train so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The gym was nice but two of the ellipticals' displays didn't work. The pool and hot tub also looked nice but the water in the hot tub wasn't very hot and just one jet that was powerful and the rest didn't seem to work. I also saw a large bug on the pool deck but luckily it did not join me in the hot tub. The hotel restaurant was ok. It was busy for one server so the service wasn't excellent. They have happy hour specials so we did get a discount off of our drinks. The location was convenient to walk to the Saddledome and there's a Superstore a block away.
