A nice 2 star left bank hotel close to the Eiffel Tower. I don't think any rooms have a view, but it's about a 5-10 minute walk to be standing right under it.
The hotel front desk is open 24 hours a day and the gentleman who checked me in was very nice. There is no elevator but we could all stand to walk some more stairs, just be careful on these as they turn and it could be easy to slip. Also consider your luggage and if you want to carry it 1-4 flights up. The location is great with 3 supermarches within a 5 minutes walk as well as numerous cafes and bars.
My room was comfortable with a good blackout shade. The bathroom and the room were Paris sized, which is to say cozy. The bathroom is equally cozy, but far from the smallest I've seen in Paris. All in all, the entire hotel appeared clean, tidy, and very well kept.
If there is one negative, it was temperature controls, there aren't any. My room had just a radiator plate in addition to the heated towel rack in the bathroom, but it was very chilly in the room, probably between 65 and 70 meaning I wore a sweater. I didn't want to get out of the warm bed and when I did, the tile floor in the bathroom was ice cold when not standing on the bathmat (bring slippers). This was in winter when it was below freezing at night.
If you can get this for a good price, it's recommended. I would stay here again if the price was good. read more
