This hotel has a very good location in Amalfi and I do recommend it to stay but be aware of the customer service by their employees at the reception and do not ask them to recommend anything.
I asked to recommend how to go from Amalfi to Naples airport and the woman at the reception desk said by taxi and said it was a $130 euros in cash which I handed with confidence. I reconfirmed my taxi services the night before with the new reception employee (man) who first said he didn't know anything and it was not his problem and after I asked him to call the morning receptionist (the woman) he verified and confirmed the taxi service the following morning
The next morning there was no taxi and the employee at the receptions (the new guy) said it was not his problem, he didn't speak English all of the sudden and did nothing to resolved my situation.
I was able to find out by other people outside the hotel that there is a Shuttle to Naples Airport for $15 Euros per person and was able to convinced the driver to take me and my daughter even though we had no reservation (you can always find nice people in this world)
When I got back home to USA I put a hold on the credit card charges for the Hotel and contacted them to get my refund of $130 Euros and Paola apologized for the mixup and sent me a money transferred but only for $100 Euros as $30 were used for fees which the hotel should have absorbed as it was their mistake, she did not sent me the other $30 Euros but I did pay my entire hotel bill as I am an honest person and acknowledge my obligations.
Do not contract extra services with this Hotel ask around you will save money, bad treatment and headaches!! read more
