Chris held my hand the whole way and answered innumerable questions, before and after the sale. Even the guys who installed it were great. After they left, I figured out I had had them put the cover on the wrong side (blocked my view of the mountains). I called them and they came back the next day and changed it. I tried to give them money, but they refused! All in all, a terrifically satisfying experience.

I took it back to exchange it, and I was rather rudely told that they didn't accept returns on sports equipment!? I explained that I had just purchased it a couple hours previously and it had never been used. They took it and I purchased the correct item. When I got my credit card bill, I saw that I was charged for both items and had not received credit for the return. It was only about $22, but I won't accept being treated that way, and Leslie's has lost my business.

Unsure how many years Bob has been employed by Leslie's; he may be a franchise owner but more likely a local Corporate Manager. Every time we visit the store (usually for a water test or purchase items needed immediately) Bob is RUDE and when called on his behavior.... his reply is 'it's just my sense of humor'. I've pushed back adding 'you're not funny, thinking Bob would rethink his style of customer service. After several years; no improvement. Bob seems very secure & empowered. I recommend buying Leslie's on-line, drive further to another local Leslie's or one of the other local pool shops. I have meant to report my experiences for so long, but put off to complete pool work at hand. On a rainy day today, I'm ordering from Leslie's on-line and found some free time.

I think water is sometimes hard to balance, especially here in New Mexico where hard water is the problem. I went through a couple of brands of chemicals, but ended up just using chlorine in a dispenser and it has solved almost all of my water problems. Luckily I had this pool before and during the worst of Covid. I use it still, almost daily, and without it, life would have been so difficult. I have some health problems and it has made a world of difference for me. The staff at Carefree have been patient and wonderful to work with and I absolutely love my Endless Pool.

Unsatisfactory. About two years ago my 13-year-old Cal Spa was malfunctioning and I called…read moreAlbuquerque Spa Repair. It cost about $1100, and took a few weeks, to replace the heating element and pump. I stopped talking at any length with the technician because he had a habit of lecturing in a condescending manner. The heating element has been fine, but the pump failed about four months after installation after vibrating loudly for some time. Because it was still under warranty, it was replaced, again after a few weeks, but the new one failed the same way after 18 months (out of warranty). After watching a couple of YouTube videos I learned that replacing the pump is not difficult, so decided to do it myself. I got the best brand pump available (Balboa, used by spa manufacturers, about $350), and some O-rings locally, and it went in fairly smoothly. I found that the pump was attached with two screws (should be four) and it was still using the original 15-year-old anti-vibration pad, which was old and hard, and I replaced. I do not intend to use Albuquerque Spa Repair again.

I popped in again for more info on hot tub covers (which I have for the last year procrastinated…read moreon!). This time Max helped me out and he provided the exceptional customer service I've come to expect from this place. We did buy the top this time, because max is an excellent salesman who gave us very nice incentives for the purchase, oodles of great tips and tricks, and lots of zen feelings walking out the door. The cover delivery has a six-week lead time, and the price tag is not necessarily easy to palate, but faster and cheaper cannot compensate against the sense of confidence I have in my investment through this small business supplier.
