There inventory was very low and the clerk apologized. They have yet to catch up from the Christmas rush. I also looked over their higher end Nike shoes. The inventory was pretty sweet and they had a deal for 50% off the second pair per the staff. I did find an exchange pair of socks and bought a three pack of Nike. There was a small issue with the return that was resolved nicely by the lady sales clerk. I would recommend and shop them again.

Along comes Zumiez, one of the newest stores added to the mix, and we are met with more of the same. Zumiez sells men's and women's surfer and skater brands in the most up to the minute styles. They certainly have more men's clothing and certainly all casual clothing, although there are a few really cute dresses here. The prices are on par with other stores offering similar brands. If you're lucky enough to catch a sale, you're in for some good deals.

An Apple store, which I believe is the only one in Hampton Roads, and a Sephora (for all those tweens who can do their makeup better than me) is inside too. In the center of the mall, they host holiday events such as getting your photo with Santa and the Easter Bunny (not sure of the price), as well as the Bra-ha-ha (a fundraiser of multiple decorative bras to support the fight against breast cancer) and trick-or-treating on Halloween at select stores. If you have little ones, the large play area with the massive whale upstairs is gone (obviously, because the whole upstairs is gone), but they've replaced it with an enclosed "Tot Lot" outside of Barnes & Noble. It's also pictured. Currently, there's still a pet shop next to JCPenney, so don't leave until you give the puppies (and maybe two cats) a wave hello...or a new home! With multiple lots and a free parking garage, you're bound to find a parking spot too.

I found them, woooo, and for two it was $230 (insane I know but they're amazing) - the sticker said what looked to be buy one get one free as well as a 35% teacher discount my husband had. So we tried to verify if the signage was right and the coupon could be used. I walked the entire upstairs looking for a register to check/pay and couldn't find one or a single employee working up there. So I had to carry these huge pillows to the first floor - again - walking all around looking for an employee and a place to pay. The ladies at jewelry checked the price but said they had no idea about the sale and couldn't help me - I'd have to go stand in line and they pointed to the SINGLE register for the entire store apparently with like 12 people in line.
