Any time we stop by the outlet, this is one store we make a stop at because my kids like shopping at this store. I also like this store because they have a lot of cool things here. They sell tons of Marvel, Harry Potter items, a lot of old sitcoms/cartoons and a lot of Japanese Anime. We came here earlier this week for back to school shopping and I noticed there were quite a bit of workers, but when we came to check out there were 2 ladies at the register and we went to her line and the lady closed the register and pointed to the girl next to her and said "she'll check you out right over there". Right before that, I watched her yak her mouth with all of her coworkers about a new POP toy she was going to purchase when she was off her shift and then when a new customer would walk up, she would point at another direction and have the other workers help. Wow Hot Topic! I didn't know you were hiring people to not work. Bad look on Hot Topic. We shop here frequently and was in shock to see that type of attitude. When we went it wasn't busy at all, so not sure why that worker was already acting like that. Not sure if I want to come back, but I'm sure I will because my boys like to shop here. My husband and I were recently on a road trip to Southern CA and on our way home, we came upon the Outlet mall at Tejon Parkway and decided to make a short stop. We wondered into the Hot Topic store there and had the best service by associate Priscila who welcomed us into the store with a big warm smile. We immediately felt like a valued customer. She offered her assistance and informed us of sales that were going on. We looked around the store for a while and found it to be clean and well organized. My husband made a purchase and Priscila offered information on the store's rewards program. When we completed the transaction, she thanked us for our purchase, encouraged us to stop by and shop again, and told us to have a nice day! There was another sales associate in the store at the time, (sorry, I didn't get his name) who was also very nice and said goodbye to us as we exited the store. Great experience! read more

Love this Location! Always pleasant! Love the staff, clean location, spacious and affordable. Everything is always in stock.

Store was pretty crowded on Sunday afternoon, there was an employee who greeted us when we came in. I say that because there were a couple of stores at the outlet that were abundant with staff, but ignored us. Items in the store were typical of any Hot Topic if you have been in one so nothing really special about this one. There is a clearance rack in the back if you are looking for a bargain. The young lady shoe rang me up was a complete snob and rude!! (Taylor I believe her name was). I was standing in line and she asked me to wait so she could go open the fitting room for another customer, I said that was no problem, so I was looking at the pins near the register. I did not know she came back and she rudely said "ummm are you ready?? If not there ARE people behind you *rolls her eyes*" So rude and unnecessary! Especially since she was the one who had to walk away and do something else, did not say anything when she returned to the register and decided to be a nasty person. Smh read more

Nieces are fans of Hot Topic. Personally, I think the store is okay. I do like some of their t-shirts. Lots of cool designs. They have quite a bit of collectibles. If you are into those Funko figurines, then you should visit Hot Topic. They have a plethora of them. In the back of the store, there is a large Clearance section. Good chance that you find some clothing at bargain prices. No one assisted us or even said hello. Maybe they were too busy. Either way, this Hot Topic store is a good place to check out for some interesting stuff. read more

Had a lot of fun t shirts and stuff in their store. I liked the small section of Star Wars items near the front of the store. Almost bought a t shirt and a car windshield shade protector. My sister if the items were for teenagers and 20's group. read more

This store is clean and it's pretty big! I went on a weekday in this store around lunch time and it was NOT BUSY at all, the staff was very friendly, well too friendly! A saleslady with light purple hair went up to me and told me the sales in store and told me to ask her if I needed help. So she asks the people I was with if they need help, then just a few minutes later she asks me again if I'm ok? Then she asks the people I'm with if they're ok. Then she comes back a 3rd time to me and asks if I found what I'm looking for. I told her the 1st time I'm looking around AND WILL CALL HER IF I NEED HELP! Then she asks the people I was with the same thing! I had a handful of clothes! After her asking me the 3rd time I was annoyed and felt uncomfortable shopping and just wanted to drop everything I had.I was waiting for my family members so I can pay along with them. Then she goes to me a 4th time and tells me more specials in the store. I paid for my items and left. I couldn't even enjoy shopping in here with that saleslady bugging me. I was in the store for a total of 20 minutes and that saleslady with the purple hair approached me a total of 4 times maybe 5! read more
