The return policy on the receipt is for any merchandise returned and accompanied by a receipt the purchase price will be refunded by the method of payment (ie. cash = cash, debit = debit). The employees insisted that the only way the purse could be returned was to give them the purse and wait for 4 - 6 weeks for a check. We had to argue for over 20 minutes to agree to put the refund on the debit card. Will think twice before coming back...

Their workers welcomed us, gave us space, and were there for us once we needed them. Vans sells quality clothing, shoe wear, and accessories. Also skateboards. The entire back of the store is where there are shoes for the whole family. They even have a convenient "find your size" rubber mat for the kiddos. The did a great job explaining the brand and how much the brand stands behind their products. They'll repair them imperfectly for free, or repair them perfectly for a fee. Almost as good as the gold-standard Patagonia warranty! They also explained that this the the only Canada Goose store in US! Finally Anchorage is #1 in something that's not embarrassing! The negatives: If you're one of those folks that says the phrase "Patagucci"...you are about to be humbled. And by humbled, I mean pancaked by a drunk dump truck driver! The prices here are out-of-this-world. Want a beanie? Well, in Canada they call 'em toques. But a toque will run you a smooth $125 here. Just about every jacket is around $900. Many are extremely similar to Patagonia jackets that could be had for $250.
