So I gave them a call. Hugo apologized and said they would arrive in 10 minutes....which they did. This is the only reason I am not giving this review 5 stars. Hugo did most of the talking. Light fixtures in my MBR closet and bath were not working. Father & son quickly diagnosed the problems. The light switch in the closet was replaced as it was some how broken and the switch in the bathroom was repaired. The entire job was completed very professionally within less than an hour and light was restored to both rooms. Bill for the work was $185. I guess pretty standard. I have no problems recommending Sharp Electric.

I had a wonderful experience with Eli and Express plumbing. I live in California but recently…read moreclosed on a 4-plex investment property in Tucson and one of the units revealed a water heater that was on its last leg. Within the first two weeks of owning the property, a tenant submitted a maintenance request stating there was no hot water so I know we needed a replacement. I initially went to Yelp and submitted a request a quote (RAQ) and was shocked to find many highly rated brands were either too busy or wanted to over charge me by $700-1000 for something I know is really simply to pull out and replace. They would claim it's higher because it's "time and half" given I needed this done asap and I had inquired right before the weekend. I then went to Home Depot online and saw the water heater I wanted was around $450-550 and hit the "Inquire about At Home Installation" button which I eventually just called the number. I was connected to a larger plumbing firm that also said they could get it done asap (the next day) but also wanted to overcharge. Out of options, I just booked them to come the next day. Sadly, I realized their reviews were very poor after I booked them. Fast forward to Saturday morning, Eli messaged me back from my Yelp RAQ and offered to do it that day or the next for far less (but also more in the range of what I thought was fair for a 40 gallon electric water heater replacement). I called him immediately to confirm and was able to cancel my original home depot plumbing contractor appt. Eli was very professional and communicated with my tenants on his arrival and the whole process. He ended up bringing a slightly taller water heater and even went to get a medium sized one that fit in there (my tenants said he was back in 20 minutes). He texted me photos right when he finished (attached) I strongly believe doing great/fair business results in great karma and I think Eli has good karma coming his way. Would highly recommend him if you want someone that's fast, easy to work with and won't leave you with the feeling of being price gauged. Thank you Eli and team!

We found however that the office staff was more difficult to work with. We initially set up our appointment on March 14th at 8AM. When no one arrived or called we phoned the office. Meg apologized and stated that the "old system did not communicate with our new system" so we did not have the appointment set up on their end. I had already paid 1/2 the cost on March 7th and provided proof to Meg. We set up another appointment for 8AM March 14th. On March 14th, again NO CALL NO SHOW. At 8:20AM I called the office. I spoke with Christine who said that the Mike had called in sick that day. Considering we received NO CALL and a 2nd NO SHOW we were not pleased. I asked for a discount on the job, Christine said she would "note that on the account" however SHE DID NOT. Mike & another worker were able to arrive promptly and called prior on Monday March 21st. We did not follow up on the requested monetary cost reduction for our inconveniences, we are moving on. The job was done in a little over 2 hours but initially we were told around 6 hours. Felt like JMAC could have discounted the job but we did not receive any follow up on this request.

Before I could say anything else, he proceeds to tell me he will be charging me $155 the first hour and $145 the second hour and I quote "you have to have my money ready by tonight if you really want me to come out".... I then asked him how much he will charge just to come take a look at it and he said that even if he just stays for 15 minutes, I will need to pay him for 2 HOURS!
