My boyfriend and I have started a yearly tradition of visiting Myrtle Beach from North Carolina,…read moreand every year we make it a point to find something new to experience together. This year, we stumbled across Ripley's Crazy Golf -- and we were completely blown away. We have played mini golf in many places, and most courses tend to feel very similar. This was the exact opposite. The creativity and originality of each hole made the entire experience feel fresh and exciting from start to finish. The vibrant colors, unique themes, and imaginative design made every course feel like its own adventure. Some of our favorite holes were the unforgettable toilet bowl and the chess themed course -- both incredibly clever and so much fun to play. You can truly see the thought and creativity that went into every detail. If you are looking for something different than the typical mini golf experience, this is absolutely worth adding to your Myrtle Beach plans. It was fun, memorable, and unlike any other course we have played. We will definitely be coming back on future trips.

The course is all indoors and consists of multiple levels. The holes are unique and fun! There is a bar area on the 2nd floor which has snacks, drinks and some alcoholic beverages. You are allowed to bring in any non-alcoholic drinks too if you prefer. The staff were pleasant and it was a comfortable atmosphere. Maybe add some fans here and there but aside from that we were all happy golfers! While you might pay a little more for this course it's worth it.

Yelp 100 Challenge -#35…read more Wonder Works is a 4 level arcade offering different attractions and things to do on each level. Wonder Works is great for a first date or even a fun family outing. 1st Floor includes the lobby, gift shop, Wonder Cafe, Hurricane Shack, Xtreme 360 Bikes, Physical Challenge Zone, and party room. 2nd Floor includes Laser Tag. If you have a little child, you may be able to take turns and go in different heats. 3rd Floor includes the wall of illusions, XD Theater, draw alive, Wonder Coaster, Bed of Nails, Bubble Lab, and STEM Room. 4th Floor includes space discovery, ropes course, arcade games that you purchase to play, art of Dr Seuss, Imagination Lab, and Interactive Sandbox. My favorite was the digital Wonder Coaster. It is an indoor ride that follows along a video of a roller coaster flipping you and spinning you like the real thing. I recommend wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing so you are able to ride majority of the attractions inside. You can also add on the Wonder Works casebook and slice different riddles as you explore the four levels.

It's a fun spot for kids, but as an adult, I wouldn't feel the need to go back. It can get pretty crowded, so I'd recommend going early on a weekday instead of the weekend if you can. A few of the exhibits weren't working during my visit, which was a little disappointing. While it's entertaining, I do think the price is a bit high--around $35 per person would feel more reasonable than $40. Overall, it's a decent way to spend some time, especially for families, but not something I'd go out of my way to do again.

There are lots of activities for the young and young at heat throughout this outside mall area. It's kinda a touristy spot as you have many attractions $ including: Bungee, Speed Boat Experience, zip line, small rides, a Ferris wheel, a theater. Not to mention it's all on the ocean. There are a variety of shops selling the usual fare, but it's a nice walkable area with much to offer throughout your walk experience. I picked up a few things for gifts to bring home and really enjoyed my time with family here. FYI- The highly anticipated Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. is opening tomorrow and would have really of liked to experience that as Paula Deans was super disappointing. *On a good note- Guy Fieri's Flavor Town will be a gigantic space within Myrtle Beach and opens in June.*

If you're in the area and in need of something for a spell or two, this place is a godsend, for sure, given how limited the options are. However, in comparison to other spiritual shops that I've visited across the country, there are a few things that I didn't particularly care for when visiting Labyrinth Walking. The first was that you are required to check your bag/purse when you arrive in the store. I get it. I really do. Shoplifting is a thing, and if you own a shop, you want to do everything you can to counter this. Still, this isn't a practice that I've seen done anywhere else, and it was a tad off-putting and made me a little uncomfortable to have my purse, wallet, etc. all taken from me during my visit. Even after all of this, I felt as if some of the staff were implementing "anti-theft" approaches to customer service during my visit. There were quite a few staff on-hand that day, so maybe they were just board and genuinely trying to be helpful, but I felt like I was almost being followed and monitored with how frequently they "checked in". In such a small shop, it honestly made the simple art of browsing and feeling the energy of certain pieces really challenging to do. I also found the prices to be a bit high compared to other stores. The location also makes parking a little bit tricky at times. While there are definitely pros to this space, it's not one that I'll go out of my way to revisit any time soon. Something about the overall energy is just...off.
