This place is nice. Instructions are clear. They even offer shipping for people who are visiting Myrtle beach and can't pick up items themselves later on. I would only suggest having less seasonal pottery products. There is a lot to choose from and you will definitely find something you'd like to paint, but in my opinion there was also too much seasonal stuff (Halloween, Christmas, Easter). This ceramic studio is one of the best that I have ever been to. The owner is professional and keeps with Covid mandates by wearing a mask and having her tables six feet apart. She also has customers wear masks if they are within six feet of any other clients, other than their own parties. The other staff person is also really friendly, helpful and professional. So, I brought several (5 or 6) members of my family here for my mom's 86th birthday. We had a lovely time despite the ventilation not being great and several other patrons not being masked during our time here. We spent quite a bit of money and left. Today, my daughter and I decided to meet up here. In an abundance of caution, I asked if we could be seated, masked, at opposite ends of the table because my daughter had been around a 5-6 non family members. This is WELL within guidelines and she was masked but the owner, Caprice, said No. If I felt concerned she wouldn't let us paint. Mind you, this is the same owner who didn't challenge the No maskers we were painting with at my mom's birthday gathering. Why do some rules apply to them but not to us, Caprice? I was just being extra cautious as I told you. I felt shockingly singled out for my trying to be extra cautious when I have seen many others at your establishment, INCLUDING YOU, in violation of the mask ordinance. Shame on you. You have lost my business and, I hope, that of others who see why you may have CAPRICIOUSLY invoked such a false invective. RIP our revenue. read more

I loved this place! We had such a great time while it rained painting the pottery. They even fired ours sooner so we could take them with us since we were on vacation. I use to love coming to this place but today will be my last day. The girl with short red hair is RUDE! She was Rude last week and i over looked it and decided to come back again today and brought 7 others with me and today was the finally straw. The way she talked to me because I walked over to look at other art work, was UNPROFESSIONAL. I will never come back. Also fix your paints, you should have them working correctly everyday instead of basically not caring. It's your product, inspect it and make sure your supplies are restocked and working. Took my girlfriend here for our 11 year anniversary to spend some quality time and paint some pottery together. My lady and I were the only people in the store beside the owner. Instead of letting me and my lady paint peacefully. This narcissistic owner wouldn't stop giving us an ear beating on how she got the store, how someone else is trying to sell her their business for X amount of dollars, she went on explaining to us that she didn't want to buy his business just his supplies. She went even deeper down this rabbit hole explaining her relationship with the other owner. It was absolutely not a pleasant...my lady and I didn't care for one bit of this information. This owner absolutely overshared her business, ruining the quality time I had planned for us. It got to the point where I actually just quit painting just to get out of the store and not have to listen to her anymore. It's been over a week and our painting still have not arrived. read more

The women was a total sweetheart and helped so much from being honest that somethings wouldn't be smart to ship to getting me a million colors! The staff was fantastic. Very pleasant and willing to help. This is a great place to explore your artistic (or not so artistic) side. You get to choose from hundreds of molds. Smaller items like ornaments come with a choice of 3 paint colors. Larger items get 6 colors of your choice. So if you get a small and large item you can choose 9 colors and use them all on both pieces. They are stocked with snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. I'm Very disappointed in this place, and our time there. We went on December 5th 2019 for their jingle mingle & it being Christmas time we picked elves to paint. We didn't finish, and they have a place where they hold your pottery so you can come back and work on it. We then went back Saturday the 7th. I needed the red I used to finish mine as well as my mom. I went to get my paint and realized the tile and paint for that number was gone. I asked the girl working and she was like oh yea it is gone, we must be out of that color, after calling her boss I'm guessing she said yep we are out it's order should be a week til it's in. We were then a little annoyed, I mean really it's Christmas time how did you not realize & have colors in stock and ready for the season. So we left cause they didn't have main color we need. My mom called the manager to talk about this and she wasn't very Pleasant could have honestly cared less, I was taken back by her response to my mom.... well why didn't you finish it that night. Really?!?! Get there at 6:30 it takes time learning how it works, picking out what you're going to paint, choosing your paint till you finally start then you have to do 3 coats witch takes time. Like sorry I'm not going to rush through this and have it looking stupid when This isn't a cheap thing, and I wasn't told have this done tonight! So since my mom makes calls asking if they have it in yet , so we can finish. It's now December 18th mom calls and the lady she spoke to Then tells my mom (not sure if they're getting annoyed by us) well there's a little bit saved you can use that, first off why wouldn't they have said that 2 weeks ago!! Her response is well I just made an executive decision. Well now it's five days till Christmas there's absolutely no way of having this done in time. I am just taken back at the way they run that business and treat customers. I will not return in the future and Do not recommend ever going there. Here I was taking my mom out for some holiday fun that pretty much turned into a nightmare. read more

During a rainy day on our vacation we were looking for something to do and found Harry the Potter! With a name like that we had to try it. They were wonderful. Our projects won't be done in time before we leave and they said they will ship our items without a problem. They were beyond helpful there and they were patient and great.
