Friday Night party of 2 Headliner: Sid Davis Hubby and I are on vacation in Myrtle Beach and decided to take in some comedy on a Friday night. I purchased tickets online and we showed up at 6:30 for a 7:30pm show. We were welcomed when we walked in the door, checked in without having to share the online confirmation number, and invited to wait for the doors to open at 7:00pm, in the bar. I ordered a gin and tonic and hubby a lava flow. Our friendly waitress also took our food order. There is a 2 item minimum so we ordered a pizza and then I had another drink. The pizza was hot and pretty yummy. The waitress closed our tab and invited us to move to the showroom promptly at 7:00. The three comedians leading up to the headliner were all pretty entertaining. We enjoyed our evening. 4/5 stars because it was annoying that the waiter kept walking in front of us throughout the entire show. The comedians were available at the door upon departure for photos.

It was ok, but expensive! It was also lewd for the main act. We do not recommend children or young adults, go. Also they make each person in your group, place two orders for food/drinks. And those are not inexpensive, either... We had dinner and drinks before, not knowing the RULES. The first opening comedian, a regular', was putting down Trump... So that did not go well for many customers! Plus he could not get the fact that the crowd was NOT pleased with his jokes. The other comedians were better. Liked Doc, and the Australian-main comedian, was pretty good...

Greg warren, he was on last comic standing!

A hidden gem in Myrtle beach that I will now visit anytime I am back in the area! I laughed so hard I was crying while watching Greg Warren here. He was a comic on last comic standing. If you don't know who he is look him up! He's got more wholesome material for all ages. They had 4 comics that night two local and two that are traveling comics. Comedy cabana seems to do a good job booking performers. Just to be safe because they rotate comics each week it's best to not try to bring your kids because the comedy may not always be family friendly. This runs everyday of the week so you can come on a Tuesday and it will still be pretty full! While watching the show there is waitstaff that comes by your table so you can order food and drinks. Also FYI there is 2 drink minimum. Highly recommend stopping by!

    Drew Thomas and Mike Merryfield!

2022 and another great time at the cabana. Why this place isn't slam pack full is beyond me. It has become mandatory for us to go each year. This year our headliner was Mr. Showtime. What a crazy show! He went "off script" and super interactive, it was great! Why there are empty seats is beyond me. It's sad actually. Only positive to that is our seats are always good. I can't stress enough how enjoyable the acts are here. If you are super sensitive or can't handle laughing at yourself or others out loud then ignore this place. If you CAN handle laughing at reality, the good, bad and ugly then book a show, you will enjoy it, and in this day and age, you prob need it!

Fun night! Seating was quick and show started promptly. Enjoyed all the comedy acts " you can get baptized at chick fil a for $7.99" and the food was surprisingly good! I got the mushroom cheeseburger and chocolate cake. My cousins got the fresh mozzarella appetizer and loaded nachos. Great experience will be coming again soon!

I visited this establishment while on a get away from it all / girls weekend! The tickets, food & drink menu were reasonably priced. Everyone that we encountered were super nice and friendly! The dress is relaxed casual. They do have a parking lot specifically for their guests and it was a little tight, but we found a park without any issues. As we stood in line to come inside it was very chaotic. It appeared to be 3 lines and eventually we got to where we needed to be and were seated. We had great seats right in front of the stage so I really enjoyed that!! It is truly a great place to visit when you're in the area. We will be back!!

Our Uber drivers (multiple) suggested visiting the Comedy Cabana during our stay. When I went to check tickets for the 7pm show, they were already sold out - days before. So we opted for 9pm. I've been to other big named comedy shows on the East Coast and have never laughed so much. They do have a two drink minimum - which is easily feasible. Why would you not have a beverage while enjoying the show? All of the acts from opening to end were funny - which I would say is rare? Either way, I'd recommend having dinner somewhere near the Cabana and heading over in time for your show. Don't worry about standing in line for doors to open - the seats are already reserved for you. They'll ask for your name and have an usher/server walk you to your table. Great place! The decor is a bit outdated but who cares! Oh and the playlist DJ really knew how to play songs that had people get excited for the show! Enjoy!

The feast begins with a biscuit so warm and buttery it could only be baked by the Paula Deen of southern pirates. The main course includes tender "seagull". (Locals say it tastes suspiciously like chicken... but who be I to question a pirate?) As for the show? No expense was spared. From the impressive stage mechanics and décor to the costumes and cast, this was a top-tier production, me hearties. This one they opened the doors and just let everyone flood in and nobody helps you find your seating . There were multiple other VIP groups who paid for the VIP that also did not get their meet and greet . We were all told to go up stairs to a section and wait for the meet and greet , all groups waiting never got their meet and greet . Complete disaster for seating and complete disappointment not getting the meet and greet we paid for , 4 tickets for VIP are not cheat . First off, very beautiful venue, easy to find the seats and where the seats are located. Outside looks like an old time opera house, they do have stairs though. Inside they have a little gift shop and food stand. While entering the smell of popcorn fills the hall. Ticket attendents got the line moving and was pleasant. Got inside and the seats were comfy. As for the show, itself Killer Queen, didn't really like it as much, and for starters the band didn't open with a familiar song like Bohemian Rhaspsody. In my opinion a good show starts with 1 or 2 familar songs, then in the middle have a few new hits that may be unheard of, then close with another 2 popular songs. to add from Queen I only know of songs like Bohemian Rhaspsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions- now while those were played-- waited until the very end to hear them. Also the band had to pull everyone out of their seats multiple times- and I mean if one plays a popular song, we will automatically get up and dance! Also to add, background- I remember in the Queen Movie they showed how to do the dance of both We Will Rock You, and Radio Ga Ga- show it in the background so that the audience can do it! or have a band member do it! Will admit for me, I'm more than likely to spend my money on a show based on a band that I know- like Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, to name a few! Would be cool to have shows like that at this theatre! Anyways, despite this experience, we may be back for another show!

Before they seat you they take a picture of your party which you can purchase at the end of the show. I will start with the buffet they offered a pineapple chicken dish thats was a spicy but not where you needed to drink milk . It was really delicious. I also had the white rice which they seasoned and I enjoyed that too. They also offered a Tilapia Dish and pulled pork dish. My husband had that and he enjoyed it too. There was also curly fries and a salad offering too. The desserts where ok - they were individual cakes slices a few varieties that they offered up in pretty round holders, they were definitely store bought. They were good but not exceptional. The Buffet is all you can eat. They offer Iced Tea and Water with buffet. All other drinks you have to pay for. The Show itself was Amazing. I definitely would recommend if your on Vacation or Live here its a experience you shouldn't miss. I have posted some pictures for you to view.

So for the longest time, my…read morefolks had wanted to bring me to the Polynesian Fire show at one of the nearby hotels and to be honest I don't think that they had ever done this themselves in the years that they had been there. My folks are not the photo takers that I am so if they did this and I didn't recall the mention, there is no photo evidence to the matter so here we go. Presented at the St. John's Inn, the event takes over what appeared to be the entire inside event space. Once the line moved the crowd inside we were greeted by staff in traditional garb and handed leis. Another person played a ukelele to welcome everyone and it set the mood. Inside were all the tables, the stage of course and a small gift shop with items that had an island flare along with a pay per drink bar. The food was set up as a buffet and there was some pork, a fish dish, chicken along with a couple of vegetables and some rice. Some have balked about this being all that was set up to eat but I was actually okay with it. I admit that I thought there would be more along the lines of seafood but I am fussy about that stuff for the most part. The emcee/host was also a part of the musical group that performed a few radio hits with an island flair and I got a kick out of this and then it was time for all of the island presentations. It's difficult to describe it all but there was lots of hula being done by lovely dancers, along with a menacing Haka dance. Then a pause in the night happened while a protective netting was set up between the stage and the patrons and this was done to prevent any accidents with the batons and assorted other items that were used during the fire performance. This was a super exciting part of the night and I give credit the performers for their skills and amazing display. My high rating was mainly because I had a really fun time and had never been to anything like this before in my life. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach and can secure a spot at this show its a worthwhile event. I was able to be sitting closer to the stage which made it all the more thrilling. Thanks for reading.

Sadly, our parents have been long gone and the grandchildren are now grown and out on their own. However, just my hubby and I still made the long drive to Myrtle Beach again. We found out that Greg Rowles now had a show of his own and a new theatre-- The Legacy Theatre. AND we read that the Greg Rowles show had one of the highest ratings of all shows in the Myrtle Beach area! Amazingly, although they were rated the best, they offered greatly reduced ticket prices for all newcomers... which was great! We showed up almost an hour early not knowing the time we would need to get through Myrtle Beach traffic. Once in the lobby, we saw the employees form a large circle. They were all holding hands -- when they invited us to join them. Then they brought up individuals who were sick, or ill, or just needing prayer, Mr Rowles led them in prayer. They prayed for their show and all of their attendees. Mr Rowles offered words of encouragement and thanks to his employees. It was a very moving experience. Before being seated we were able to purchase delicious, freshly baked cookies (sold in individual cellophane bags), freshly made coffee and amazing hot chocolate from the refreshment center. Everyone on the team felt like they were our long gone family members. Watching the show, I found myself laughing, crying, praising God and oh, so grateful that we could hear AND see the talented singers and band members. Visiting the souvenir shop at half time we were able to buy a Christmas Ornament. We asked one of the employees if we could move up from the far end of the third row to two empty seats on the first row. She told me she almost came and got us to offer us the opportunity to move up. It seemed as if every employee on this team really does care about making one's visit memorable. After the unforgettable show, there was a long line of people wanting a photo with Greg, including me and my husband. There was an older woman, all by herself, who shared how much she had wanted a photo with Greg, but had something wrong with her leg and could not get up the stairs to the stage without railing. My sweet hubby helped her up and back down. Seeing how thrilled she was with her photo made us both happy. It seems everyone in attendance left with an even bigger heart of gratitude and concern for others. Yes, we thought we would just enjoy a wonderful Christmas show. . . but instead we got...
