Fun for the whole family - arcade, bowling, and billiard. Unfortunately our score board was inoperable after three rounds so we had to move to another lane. They have bumper lanes for tots. The kids enjoyed the arcade. The arcade hoop was inoperable too. They also have a bowling summer league, ATM, brewery, vending machine and grill where they offer hot appetizers like chicken nuggets and fries pickles and fried mac & cheese. If you have patience for inoperable machines then this location is fine. Even though the chairs swivel they were annoying because they didn't fully rotate in the direction of the bowling lanes which is what you would want to see. read more

Nice, clean facility with well-oiled lanes, nice rental shoes, pool tables, an arcade, & a snack bar. I like that the lane area & seating is one solid floor. It's easy to lose your footing with the various steps separating the bowling lanes, team tables, & eating area behind the bowling area found in most bowling alleys. Was looking for something fun to do during the day with a group of five and the weather wasn't too warm so we were looking for something inside. Bowling was right down the road from the hotel so it seemed like a good plan. I had been to this bowling alley a bunch years ago when I lived in the area and not much has changed. They've got a small arcade up front on the way in and some other fun kids stuff. We were able to get a lane pretty easy on a Saturday afternoon for the five of us. We did a family pack that gave us two hours of bowling, shoe rentals and a large popcorn for like $45. For less than ten bucks each we had two hours of fun! had a few pitchers from the bar and the popcorn wasn't half bad. Definitely a good deal for some good times! read more

First time here. Like the old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" definitely fits this place. Once inside there is a lot to do for kids and adults. Very clean (the staff was cleaning while I was there) and felt safe. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was on lane 25, they oil the lanes and the all the lanes looked in good shape. Everything worked great on my lane. I haven't bowled in about 7 years but used to have a 190 average. They have a small pro shop from what I could see it had everything you would need. Didn't try any food but it looked good. Will come back again and would bring the family. Definitely would recommend this place. Might actually look into getting into a league at these lanes. read more

On a weeks vacation from NJ. We went first to Myrtle Beach Bowl. Walked right up to the counter. Started to ask the counter manager a question. As soon as I opened my mouth he said "We're closed", it's only about 11:30 am and 40 or so people were there at this time as I look around. We ask then why are people here and bowling?!? He said that they were having a closed party for the employees. Then why was the front door unlocked and only 1 5x5" sign on the door? We walked right by other people on the way in and no one said that they were closed to the public. Very rude! So we decided to go back to the Surfside bowling alley we visited the last time we were in MB about 3 yrs ago and had a good time there then. It was only about 12 to 15 from where we were staying and the people are some much nicer there. We also ate lunch {pizza} and it was the best I have had at in MB! The manager, Otis, was a very polite and accommodating. He also had a very good sense of humor and went above and beyond to make sure our party of 5 was happy and had a good time. We had asked if our little one could bowl for free like some places do, he is only 1 almost 2, but he said that they charge equally for each bowler. We thought that was a little crazy since he would probably only bowl once or twice being he is only about 2. But when we were all done he asked if we all had fun and then presented us with 1 free bowling pass for our entire group when we left! This place looks small on the inside but it is huge. We hoped to bowl but it was league night. We went into full service bar and they had very nice pool tables with good sticks. Enjoyed the pool. Fantastic Pizza and cold beer. The arcade at the front was reasonable and the duck pin bowling game was awesome. Haven't seen this anywhere else. Friendly management and the place is spotless. Great time! Also saw them dressing the lanes before league. The bowling center looks very nice. read more

Would give zero stars if possible Only came to Surfside bowl because all other bowling alleys were full, highly regret even considering this place. Came during glow bowl and got charged $20 over the actual price, when corrected I was given back the wrong change. $10 short to be exact. Not to mention the ball return took a huge chunk out of my personal ball. I wouldn't order anything from the bar, for it is a waste of money. Received a half full pitcher of beer. We have been to multiple bowling alleys and this is by far the worst experience we've had. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I recommend Surfside bowling alley to anyone that has children or that wants to join a bowling league to definitely come and check out their prices and all the events that take place here. They have a really good food that they serve throughout the evening and after 11 they have the midnight Bowl where they put on the black lights and dance music. read more

We were very impressed with this place! Great family specials and it had all we needed. I had a bit of trouble finding balls for the little ones but that is bc they were so busy. We really loved the food! I had the best Loaded French Fries ever! Real bacon and two kinds of melted cheese!! It was perfection! They had a great menu. Brand spanking new and redone this year... great place to take the kids for parties, or just go and bowl and chill with friends:) VERY, VERY CLEAN and awesome new food... I'm really picky about my food-- just like good, healthy stuff- and they have gone out of their way to make the food delicious... no joke!! They do the nighttime bowl with the cool neon lights, tons of new seating, swivel bar areas, separate pool table area with full Bar, LOTS of alleys, and they have an awesome new section great for parties, with duckpins, a small arcade area. The price to bowl was about average and overall the building was kept well. However the men's restroom was very nasty. The lanes did not seem up to par. I had a hard time finding a house ball that I could use. The pool tables were in good condition. Plenty of sticks to use and balls were in good shape. Staff was friendly and seemed willing to help. When my family visited it was extremely busy because of the storm. I would come back because overall it was a good experience. read more

My 2 sons & I bowled 2 games here and had to visit the front desk 5 or 6 times to fix scoring errors in their system. Really hard to enjoy bowling when we have to take time every few frames to go get these problems taken care of. read more

Went in there today. Took my friends and I 10 mins to get help because the gentleman behind the counter was too busy talking to someone about the football game that was on the television. After we finally got our shoes and paid for 2 games we started bowling! After one game the computer said we had already played 2 games. When we went to talk to the gentleman, that was still talking to the guy about football, he acted like we had already played two games I don't know how someone can play two games in 15 mins!! I called there the other day to ask about lane reservations and to see if there would be a bowling league on the night my work group of 15 was going to come bowl and had the unfortunate luck of getting a guy named Daryl on the phone. He couldn't have been shorter with his responses and less interested in answering a few questions. Each response was set with a tone of sassy ignorance. After answering about three questions I wanted to thank him for his time and let him know we would see him the following night, even though he was pretty rude i figured maybe he had a bad day, but before i could get the words out he hung up on me!!
