Too bad no performances during January! Enjoyed "Driving Miss Daisy" last year. Should strive to have events during this time.

Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show

Ahoy, ye landlubbers! If ye be wonderin' whether this pirate dinner show be worth yer hard-earned…read moregold, let me tell ye -- it's worth every last doubloon. The feast begins with a biscuit so warm and buttery it could only be baked by the Paula Deen of southern pirates. The main course includes tender "seagull". (Locals say it tastes suspiciously like chicken... but who be I to question a pirate?) As for the show? No expense was spared. From the impressive stage mechanics and décor to the costumes and cast, this was a top-tier production, me hearties. I came during the holidays and was treated to a pirate-themed twist on A Christmas Carol -- who knew? So if ye be feenin' for a hearty meal, a swashbucklin' good show, and a chance to channel yer inner scallywag, grab a seat, loosen yer belt, and raise your goblets.

Myrtle Beach none of the actors sing the songs like the other locations just lip sing . The acting and acrobatics are great just the lip singing takes away so much from the show . We always pay for the vip and the other locations open the doors and seat the vip's first and then the next groups as follow . This one they opened the doors and just let everyone flood in and nobody helps you find your seating . There were multiple other VIP groups who paid for the VIP that also did not get their meet and greet . We were all told to go up stairs to a section and wait for the meet and greet , all groups waiting never got their meet and greet . We all waited until doors opened and we were told to go find our seats . Complete disaster for seating and complete disappointment not getting the meet and greet we paid for , 4 tickets for VIP are not cheat . The photos at this location were shot on cellphones and they still charge you thru the roof absurd pricing for them . The one picture was $36 (I believe )for the cell phone photo . The server we had Shaq (yes like the basketball player's name ) was an amazing server , very attentive , polite , joked , played the part and an all around awesome guy . Food was consistent like the other locations . This location was definitely better at cleaning up plates and such that both the other locations . The pre show was pretty good at Myrtle . This is based on our many experience's at other locations and the one recent and only time at Myrtle Beach 3-6-26

First off, very beautiful venue, easy to find the seats and where the seats are located. Outside looks like an old time opera house, they do have stairs though. Inside they have a little gift shop and food stand. While entering the smell of popcorn fills the hall. Ticket attendents got the line moving and was pleasant. Got inside and the seats were comfy. As for the show, itself Killer Queen, didn't really like it as much, and for starters the band didn't open with a familiar song like Bohemian Rhaspsody. In my opinion a good show starts with 1 or 2 familar songs, then in the middle have a few new hits that may be unheard of, then close with another 2 popular songs. to add from Queen I only know of songs like Bohemian Rhaspsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions- now while those were played-- waited until the very end to hear them. Also the band had to pull everyone out of their seats multiple times- and I mean if one plays a popular song, we will automatically get up and dance! Also to add, background- I remember in the Queen Movie they showed how to do the dance of both We Will Rock You, and Radio Ga Ga- show it in the background so that the audience can do it! or have a band member do it! Will admit for me, I'm more than likely to spend my money on a show based on a band that I know- like Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, to name a few! Would be cool to have shows like that at this theatre! Anyways, despite this experience, we may be back for another show!

Was visiting the family who live in beautiful Myrtle Beach and at the time of my visit it was my…read moremother's birthday and she wanted to go to a comedy club. Though I love a good comedy show, my preferred way to enjoy them nowadays has been on Netflix or even YouTube so this would be a pleasant change of pace for sure. Once you were seated in the main event space of the club you were required a two drink or two food item minimum and since I no longer drink, I was glad to find a few decent food items to enjoy during the sets. In addition to the large Sprite I had an order of their hot pretzels and the mozzarella cheese with tomato and basil. The wait staff was friendly and kept checking to see if anything was needed across the night. My mom had some kind of dip and I think my pop had the same thing. We were there to see comedian Greg Morton who secured some popularity after appearing as a contestant on America's Got Talent. He's quite good and does a number of character voices. I can say that some of his routine is a little spicy in the language dept but that didn't offend me at all. He also did some costume impressions and one of the funniest was his Tina Turner. I wasn't expecting that at all. A Gripe. Though their club policy is no refunds, a member of our party had fallen ill and was no longer coming. This is not a cancellation that should not be honored in some fashion. The person wasn't planning on being sick and its not cheap for some of the shows. The venue should have at least offered some of the entrees or a round of drinks to make good on this. It would have been nice and I ALMOST dropped my score to a "3" because of it but I chose to leave it alone. I understand policies for sure but some circumstances should be worked out a little differently. So I did have a good time but will I return? That's unlikely since I not only live so far away in NYC but I also prefer live music events, theatre and conventions over comedy happenings. Of course if its comedy or sports will go for comedy. If you really go for this stuff then you should check out the Comedy Cabana as I don't think there is another club like it. Don't quote me on that though since I can only do so much exploring in a few days visit.

First the people who are…read morepart of this show handled pretty much everything from greeting you, seating you and doing the show. Before they seat you they take a picture of your party which you can purchase at the end of the show. I will start with the buffet they offered a pineapple chicken dish thats was a spicy but not where you needed to drink milk . It was really delicious. I also had the white rice which they seasoned and I enjoyed that too. They also offered a Tilapia Dish and pulled pork dish. My husband had that and he enjoyed it too. There was also curly fries and a salad offering too. The desserts where ok - they were individual cakes slices a few varieties that they offered up in pretty round holders, they were definitely store bought. They were good but not exceptional. The Buffet is all you can eat. They offer Iced Tea and Water with buffet. All other drinks you have to pay for. The Show itself was Amazing. Watching how they interacted with each other was really enjoyable. You could feel the camaraderie among them. The Dancers were Amazing and Graceful. Wish I could move like that. I definitely would recommend if your on Vacation or Live here its a experience you shouldn't miss. I have posted some pictures for you to view.

So for the longest time, my…read morefolks had wanted to bring me to the Polynesian Fire show at one of the nearby hotels and to be honest I don't think that they had ever done this themselves in the years that they had been there. My folks are not the photo takers that I am so if they did this and I didn't recall the mention, there is no photo evidence to the matter so here we go. Presented at the St. John's Inn, the event takes over what appeared to be the entire inside event space. Once the line moved the crowd inside we were greeted by staff in traditional garb and handed leis. Another person played a ukelele to welcome everyone and it set the mood. Inside were all the tables, the stage of course and a small gift shop with items that had an island flare along with a pay per drink bar. The food was set up as a buffet and there was some pork, a fish dish, chicken along with a couple of vegetables and some rice. Some have balked about this being all that was set up to eat but I was actually okay with it. I admit that I thought there would be more along the lines of seafood but I am fussy about that stuff for the most part. The emcee/host was also a part of the musical group that performed a few radio hits with an island flair and I got a kick out of this and then it was time for all of the island presentations. It's difficult to describe it all but there was lots of hula being done by lovely dancers, along with a menacing Haka dance. Then a pause in the night happened while a protective netting was set up between the stage and the patrons and this was done to prevent any accidents with the batons and assorted other items that were used during the fire performance. This was a super exciting part of the night and I give credit the performers for their skills and amazing display. My high rating was mainly because I had a really fun time and had never been to anything like this before in my life. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach and can secure a spot at this show its a worthwhile event. I was able to be sitting closer to the stage which made it all the more thrilling. Thanks for reading.

We…read morehad always loved taking our parents and grandchildren to Alabama Theatre and to Carolina Opry. Sadly, our parents have been long gone and the grandchildren are now grown and out on their own. However, just my hubby and I still made the long drive to Myrtle Beach again. We found out that Greg Rowles now had a show of his own and a new theatre-- The Legacy Theatre. AND we read that the Greg Rowles show had one of the highest ratings of all shows in the Myrtle Beach area! Amazingly, although they were rated the best, they offered greatly reduced ticket prices for all newcomers... which was great! We showed up almost an hour early not knowing the time we would need to get through Myrtle Beach traffic. Once in the lobby, we saw the employees form a large circle. They were all holding hands -- when they invited us to join them. Then they brought up individuals who were sick, or ill, or just needing prayer, Mr Rowles led them in prayer. They prayed for their show and all of their attendees. Mr Rowles offered words of encouragement and thanks to his employees. It was a very moving experience. Before being seated we were able to purchase delicious, freshly baked cookies (sold in individual cellophane bags), freshly made coffee and amazing hot chocolate from the refreshment center. Everyone on the team felt like they were our long gone family members. Watching the show, I found myself laughing, crying, praising God and oh, so grateful that we could hear AND see the talented singers and band members. Visiting the souvenir shop at half time we were able to buy a Christmas Ornament. We asked one of the employees if we could move up from the far end of the third row to two empty seats on the first row. She told me she almost came and got us to offer us the opportunity to move up. It seemed as if every employee on this team really does care about making one's visit memorable. After the unforgettable show, there was a long line of people wanting a photo with Greg, including me and my husband. There was an older woman, all by herself, who shared how much she had wanted a photo with Greg, but had something wrong with her leg and could not get up the stairs to the stage without railing. My sweet hubby helped her up and back down. Seeing how thrilled she was with her photo made us both happy. It seems everyone in attendance left with an even bigger heart of gratitude and concern for others. Yes, we thought we would just enjoy a wonderful Christmas show. . . but instead we got...
