My family and I went to Hot Harry's on Tyler st Sunday March 30, 2025 for dinner... When we walked in, we were greeted with, "oh shit, look behind you," to another employee. We had 4 adults and a child... One employee was very friendly and complimented my friend's hat and tried to make our experience pleasant while the other two just didn't want to be there... I ordered the burrito of the month which is a fish burrito with fried potatoes on it... I ended up in the hospital with food poisoning... No one else in my group got sick but I was the only one to have fried food/seafood... I will not be going back to ANY Hot Harry's and I will try to persuade others from going there as well! And after reading other reviews, I am definitely not the only person that got sick at these restaurants... Poor service and food that puts people in the hospital is NOT ok! BEYOND disgusting! My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back home and there was a long red hair in his food. We both got up and had throw our food out. We didn't bother sharing with the employee because 1. They probably could care less and 2. We will never come back here again. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger burrito. The guy making my food must have been on some sort of drug or was stoned or something. I'm standing there he takes a deep breath while looking at me for about 10 seconds and says "uhhhh sorry um, how are you doing, oh I know you. You always get the same thing no tomatoes and the other guy gets it with tomatoes, you come in all the time." No idea what he was talking about and I hadn't been in Hot Harry's in about 6 months. Weird interaction. He then put onions in my burrito, it does not say with onions on the menu. I didn't stop him because it was already too late. He would have to had made an entirely new burrito but I like onions so whatever. Got home, bit into it and it was unpalatable. The onions ruined the entire burrito. I shouldn't have been so nice and that's probably why I'm giving the restaurant a bad review, but if it were a sit down restaurant I wouldn't have known. I've never thrown away an entire order before but this stoned dude completely f**ked my order up and gave me the sense this restaurant hires drugged out idiots. I used to eat at Hot Harry's a lot about 8 years ago or so. I stopped for whatever reason and recently started eating at Hot Harry's again. The last time that I went, I ordered the two tacos meal, whatever it is called. It was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The person making them seemed to scoop all the black crap off of the grill into my tacos and all over the shell, etc. I will probably never return after this. The grill should be consistently cleaned and the black crap from the grill should not be an ingredient in the tacos. The person was a tall man with long hair. read more

I think this place has its benefits, seating for about 50 i think, in a decent spot to walk to in down town, They have a large variety of salsa's available. Prices are a little high for what you get, its hard to get something that will fill you for less than $12 maybe i am naive in thinking that is too much. The burritos are mostly rice and beans with a touch of meat. The quasadilla's are pretty good but there isn't much to them and the price isn't great. I like the options. I like the flavors. I like the price. I asked for extra jalepenos and a solid dousing of Harry's hot sauce because I wanted some good spice. It hit the spot - just right! The guy helping me was very helpful and kind in helping me achieve this dining goal. I was trying to be a bit more health-conscious so I skipped the burrito and the rice. My man hooked me up with extra beans and things to make sure I felt I got my money's worth. Not a super clean place. Not in the best area. Nothing amazing. Similarly priced local version of Moe's. Lots of burrito options, big salsa and hot sauce bar, and the burritos come with free chips. I can't say its really better than Moe's, but I like Moe's so 3 stars seems appropriate. read more

Now I ate at 2 of these the same weekend in same town and one was as good as the other. Consistancy people that's the key to franchise and they had it. The quesidias were fresh, the chicken juicy and the flavor was fantastic. The tacos were full of freshness and goodness. We tried some of the different salsas and they just got better. The speed was good and people were okay. It was very busy and they were polite. I'll take that every day. If you ever get a chance to stop at a Hot Harry's you wont be disappointed read more

Great place to go. Food is always fresh and staff are always helpful. First off the Burritos are huge. You will pay more for a meal than at your local McDonalds but it is way worth. If they did not charge extra for sauces and other things would be a five star. Like I said there prices are a bit high so all the extras should be included. read more

I was visiting Pittsfield, MA & decided to have lunch at Hot Harry's. I got the fajita with cilantro lime steak, and I must say it was pretty awful. There was a hair in my food so I only ate 1/3 of it. They pulled the toppings on so when I took a bite I got a bite of all lettuce or all guacamole ( which they charge 1$ extra for guacamole and sour cream!) and it was very bland. I would not recommend this place. It was also way too pricey for the quality of food. read more

Sorry but I just can't bring myself to a positive review. (We had a recent lunch at a Chipotle near Chicopee and it was far superior to the Tyler ST. Location.) Everything was soupy and the spoon had to be drained on most items by the server holding a gloved hand over it. The pulled pork didn't have much flavor and seemed to have been slow cooked in water or a weak broth. Sorry but won't go to HH again. Not cheap and about as unauthentic as you can get! read more

This place got ten of my hard-earned dollars, and I want them back. I also want to find the local who recommended this place and give him a swift kick in the jaw. I've never been in such a bland, soulless restaurant, but to be fair, the atmosphere matched the town of Pittsfield perfectly. The service was indifferent, and even the super-loud radio couldn't help me block out the misery of eating here. The food? Terrible! How can a creation like the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla sound so good on a menu, but taste so awful on your plate? To complete the miserable visit, it seemed like the lazy employees couldn't even be troubled to lay out the labels for the salsa bar. I am giving this review five stars because the food is always so good. However, whoever the new girl working this past Thursday night and tonight 1//11/15 is shorting customers their food. We normally get a bag of chips with our order. The past two times, not even half a bag. And the Buffalo chicken burrito bowl now comes in a small square takeout container, certainly not worth the 7.50 it costs, since it normally comes in a large round bowl. I will consider not ordering from this location if she is working since this is the second time she has shorted us on our food. I love Hot Harrys. The food here is great if you are a fan of Americanized Mexican food. I think the HH on North Street is cleaner than this one but the food is the same. I still hate that HH nickles and dimes you every way they can. read more

We have been to Hot Harry's several times. They continuously get our orders wrong, from the simplest thing as a couple tacos. They opened a brand new location in Dalton, so we decided to try it out hoping it would be better than the other locations. They got both kids orders wrong & my wife got very sick from the fish taco, very disappointing. Overpriced fast food...never again will we visit this awful place again! read more

While doing some shopping in the area, I saw the sign for Harry`s around lunch time and figured I would give it a shot. The place is not too different looking when compared to other casual Burrito spots. On the menu board, you will see that they charge quite a bit for "extras" such as guac & sour cream, among other options, which can really bring up an otherwise reasonable cost. Anyways, the food is pretty good and the portions are nice. Plenty of steak as well as plenty of rice and beans. The cheese was barely ok, very low end quality there. And the chips were pretty good, a couple good handfuls, rather than a really small amount that other establishments may give you. There were only 3 salsa options though, would be nice to have 2-3 additional options. Some others mentioned it not being very clean....not too bad, but they certainly could polish up the place and make the bathroom nicer as well. All in all, a stop at Harry`s will certainly satisfy your hunger. It certainly was not bad in my opinion, but it also was not great. read more

The food is ok, a bit over priced. I was annoyed to find out they shut off their grill at 9 (when they close at 10) so I couldn't order items I wanted, so I was limited. I was the only person in the place, and half of it was shut down. They had most of the food already put away so I had to wait for them to walk in the back to retrieve some of the ingredients for my meal. My food was Luke warm or cold throughout. After I got home and heated it up, it was ok. For the price, it should be hot and fresh up Untill closing time. read more

Best Mexican quick serve food there is (compared to Moe's, Bueno Y Sano, Chipotle etc.). Seriously delicious quesadillas and burritos (especially buffalo) and great nachos, taco salads and tacos. Staff here is always great, quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable and usually under $9 for a meal and chips. Delicious, I definitely suggest this place!! read more

We stop here regularly, and like this location over the North St. one. Tyler St has better parking and the food and service is nicer. We love the build your own burrito, which means we get the food we want. They had a terrific mango salsa and corn poblano soup, so I hope they bring back these choices! read more

I used to enjoy eating here. The food was both good and fresh, and very inexpensive. Just a decent filling meal with good ingredients, nothing special about the cooking but dependable and basic good quality. Starting a few months ago, however, the same ingredients are provided but with no skill in cooking whatsoever....no flavoring, no seasoning, not even salt and pepper are there. It doesn't take much skill to make a tasty taco, but recently that is just gone. The meat is grey and watery from not being cooked properly, there is no spice, no seasoning whatsoever. I used to go with friends and family a few times a week. Now none of us wants to set food in the place. I miss it. I wrote them and asked what had happened. The answer was "oh we decided to make the food healthier and less fatty". That's all well and good but less fatty does not mean damp and tasteless, or rather it does if you have no basic cooking skills whatsoever. read more
