This is probably one those few Indian restaurants in metro Atlanta region which serves almost authentic South Indian food at a very reasonable price. What lacks is the atmosphere and the surroundings. Food: Have got a lot of TOGO orders from this place before which were all very good. That includes Parotta Kurma, Chappati Kurma, Gobi 65 etc. This was my first dine in experience. So we got Mushroom 65 fried rice and Paneer Burji dosa. Both of them tasted very nice and the spice levels were just as requested. The mushroom was fried very well. The sambar was good just like before but the chutneys were stale and not fresh. Infact they seemed spoilt. Have to say their Cakes are excellent. Best for birthdays. Butterscotch cake is just too good. Service & Atmosphere: Although it's self service, the order arrived within few minutes of wait time. No hassle and the food was cooked well. The main reason why I used to take out food from this place was because of the ambience. The place used to be crowded most of the time and didn't feel like dining in. The Menu card and the kids high chair were very much dirty and probably mot cleaned in years I would say. Secondly I see a lot of people outside the restaurant door smoking and having tea. I really wish the management urges them to stay away from the entrance. Doesn't feel family friendly at all. I would think twice before dining in. BOTTOMLINE: Overall a very good restaurant for food and service but a big let down in terms of ambience and atmosphere. Based on my experience dining today, I am a bit apprehensive about visiting this eatery again. I got the Weekday Thali ($12.99) and hubby the Chole Puri($11.99) and Onion Samosa($1 each). We both were left disappointed by the spiciness in the food and lack of customer service. In the Thali, 5/6 items were cold and everything tasted extremely spicy which made me tear up throughout the meal. The Thali also looked less appetizing and made hours earlier. Hubby's Chole Puri was drenched in oil and again tasted overly spicy. He wasn't particularly a fan of it. Onion Samosa was spicy as well! Customer service is a big disappointment as nobody greets the customers nor checks in with them nor talks in a friendly way. It is a big area of improvement for them. Last but not least, they don't honor Yelp coupons. They have a free pastry listed while checking in, but the guy at the counter didn't acknowledge it and said it is an old coupon. I went back to my table without arguing, but read about a similar experience from another Yelp Elite. So, looks like they have done this before too. Seems like it was made with frozen veggies. Peanut chutney was awful. It ruins everything. They should provide a few options. Tea was horrible. Too much elaichi and was not fresh. Has that old tea taste. Left a pretty bad after taste. The lady at the counter has a grumpy and mean face. Even with kids. She does not have a smile or welcoming persona. Even the tone was very careless. How hard it is to find and keep a nice person at the front desk? Half of the dining experience gets ruined if the person manages is unwelcoming. Tasty Indian food for a decent price. Ordered: Chicken tikka masala and chicken 65 Biryani Impressed by: quantity of chicken in the Biryani, and relieved too. I hate to eat just rice, so I was thrilled that there was actually enough chicken to eat and enjoy, unlike many places. Placed the order over the phone. I had a free pastry in YELP and they would not HONOR it. Wanted to try them out but walked out.

It has been a long time since we have come here and the quality of the food has become even more blander except for the chicken 65 and much more expensive. We ordered garlic naan, chicken 65, samosa chat, vegetable biryani, 2 bags of snacks and an order of sweet bread. Only the chicken 65 tasted full of flavor, but it was $12.99, so we wont be ordering that anymore. There has been a few changes within the restaurant since before the pandemic. They no longer have a menu you can look at. You have to scan the qr code to bring it up on your phone, which I think is a problem, because the qr code didnt work at first and took us 10 minutes to bring up the menu. In that time they could have lost another customer. They should have had back up menus that we could have looked it or had one that was brought up on the screen. The Google menu you can order from home is not the same one that is brought up when you use the QR code within the store. The prices for the curries in store are at least $6 more. Other than that, the customer service was ok but we won't be coming here again. At one point this used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but not anymore. read more

We had a great time at Hot Breads for dinner! The workers are all so lovely, especially the lady that was working at the register during the time my boyfriend and I visited. It was our first time, and she was extremely patient and willing to help us decide what we were craving for. Hot Breads is going to be a casual, order at the register, and seat yourself type of spot. A mom 'n pop type, hidden gem tucked away on the far right side of a plaza off on Windward Parkway near Walgreens. The dishes that we tried: - Chicken 65 - Lamb Biryani - Chicken Tikka Masala with naan Both prices and portions of everything was great. All the dishes were served on paper bowls/plates and bottles of water were given instead of tap water in a cup. I prefer restaurants to do this, especially during this time with COVID. No having to worry eating off of reusable plates and makes clean up easy peasy. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The chicken 65 isn't the usual dry, super red appetizer that I'm used to. It was quite saucy, had a bit of a kick, and was topped off with red onions and slice of lemon. The chicken tikka masala was my favorite; very creamy and came with so much gravy, we ended up drinking it like soup since it was yummy and rich. The lamb biryani alone was a tad dry, but came with a yogurt sauce that made it tastier. We also tried this drink that was next to the Mango Lassi in the fridge behind the counter (the name escapes me at the moment); try it! It tasted like a mix of a banana and apple flavors; like a creamy and sweet smoothie. I loved it. I probably would get it over the mango lassi with my next visit. To top it all off, the sweet lady came over to ask how the food was and gave us a complimentary pineapple cake for us to try. The cake was super sweet and moist. They have many other options for desserts right next the front of the restaurant; I would've tried them had I not been so stuffed! Thank you Hot Breads! You gave us exactly what we wanted that day. First off, my experience here almost went left but a staff member (maybe the owner) intervened and turned it around. When I first walked in, I felt very uncomfortable. There wasn't any type of greeting. I walked to the register and the guy standing there looked at me like I was an alien. No words spoken. I asked for a menu and he pointed to a QR code. By the time I was ready the order, another lady walked up and took my order. She was a little more friendly. When I sat down to wait on my food, I checked in on Yelp. To my surprise, a free pastry offer popped up. I went to the counter and the unfriendly guy was back. He quickly informed me that they would not be honoring the Yelp free offer. No explanation just they weren't doing it. To be fair, there may have been a language barrier. As I was questioning this, a lady (maybe the owner) walked up and started to explain. I was having a hard time understanding her accent, so I just said okay and sat down. It wasn't a big deal, and I wasn't going to go back and forth about it. I waited for what seemed like a long time, but my food finally came out. The unfriendly guy brought it to me and seemed a little softer. The lady who I suspect was the owner stopped me as I was leaving and told me to pick the pastry of my choice. She described each one and said I could choose. Her positive energy changed my initial energy, and I felt better about the visit. I got my food to go because I was staying at a hotel across the street. Let me tell you, the food was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Marsala. My first choice was lamb but they were out. The sauce was plentiful with just the right amount of creaminess and spice. Visited on 10-Jan 2021. We had the Mysore masala Dosa . Please do yourself a favor , save the time and money and go somewhere else . The coconut chutney was salty. Ok, I guess COVID might have taken a toll on restaurants but this is hands down the worst Indian food I have had in ages. It was a lunch buffet that we decided to check out. There were around 10-12 items, bit veg and non veg. I was blown away that none of the items had "taste". I checked with others in the group and everyone agreed that this is the worst Indian food anyone had had recently. I am surprised by the positive reviews. The pick up time selection on their website is no use, went to the place and still need waiting. Easy to find. Parking is good and spacious. Staff nice. Make sure to order at the cashier and scan the qr code before seating yourself. Food came out fast. Had the butter chicken with rice and butter nan with a side of their samosas(potato). Butter chicken was a good portion. It was hot and flavorful. Defiantly authentic.
