Requested maintenance for my carrier hvac unit as I was getting a clean or replace air filter…read morewarning on my thermostat. Figured I would just get some maintenance done on it before winter starts and have them replace the reusable air filter I had with a new disposable air filter. The tech came looked at a few things on my unit , cleaned off the reusable air filter I had in the hvac and charged me $155 for the maintenance call. Asked if he changed the air filter he said no he just cleaned the reusable filter, asked for the dimensions on the air filter so I could just order it myself and he told me to measure it foe the dimensions. Very next day less than 24 hours later still getting clean or replace air filter message on thermostat. Moral of the story is save yourself $155 and avoid this company.

Wish I could give 0 stars…read more Eastern Air apparently does not want new business. So, I will go elsewhere. I have left many, many messages at 302-604-8288. No one has ever returned a call. One time "John" answered and I told him I was interested in an HVAC maintenance and service contract. He rattled off some numbers and promised to email them to me that night. Never got anything. I then called that number over and over, leaving messages that again were never returned. Finally, a woman answered and explained that she was in a front office and could give me no info (??) about service contracts, but she said if I called 800-921-0392 an answering service would take a message and forward to someone who would call back. She also promised me that John would send me the promised info that day. Not. So I called the 800 number and left a message for someone to please call me. Nothing. I give up. Too many other HVAC companies that care. I wonder how if they respond to customers needing emergency service.

They worked nearly the whole week at our house and it was a pleasure to have them here! They're super thorough. What little mess they did make, they cleaned up every day. They were also happy to show me exactly what they were doing whenever I popped my head up there. They arranged the system so we can still easily move through our attic and use it for storage. They also brainstormed with us about other attic issues and were able to tack some extra things onto the job. Lloyd called a parts manufacturer when I had questions about the type of bulb they used. The kid did a fantastic job but we were charged $2800 for a $17-1800 dollar job. Called in to ask why it was that price when 2 other places we called both said the same price, $1000+ cheaper. Took the manager I guess he was 2 weeks to get back up with us and he said he had to do research on how competitive the pricing was and kept trying to explain there quality of parts and service warranted the cost. Well my wife wouldn't accept it and they finally refunded us $250. So we cancelled the contract and just had another plumbing issue and used Drain Chasers Plumbing in Georgetown and he was fantastic. We were charge almost $600. Immediately following water was flowing out of our overflow discharge line and then weeks later, water was dripping from the ceiling. I am not cleaning out the lines and fixing the problem myself. THEY ARE OWNED BY PRIVATE QUITY WHICH BUYS UP LOCAL SERVICE BUSINESSES TO CONTROL PRICES AND SELL COSTUMERS ON OVERPRICED New systems!
