I ate vegan ravioli three times while in Italy, once when we made it ourselves in a cooking class in Como, then at an upscale vegan restaurant in Venezia, and finally here at La Vegana. The ravioli at La Vegana was not as fancy as at the restaurant in Venezia -- but the taste was just as good. The ravioli we made ourselves was also good -- but we're just beginners when it comes to making pasta. My traveling companions report that they also enjoyed there selections. If you are a vegan and looking for good vegan food in Ferrara, I recommend La Vegana. They open at 11:00am and close at 9:00pm. It is worth seeking out.
