The staff was very professional yet made everyone feel at home. The drinks were good. The food was partly provided by the party host and served by the venue. There were two nice clean (slightly small) bathrooms with a shared sink. It's July so the weather outside was hot. Inside, there was plenty of air conditioning in the back room (by the dance floor) with less up front. Unlike large event spaces in Manhattan, this one had a more cozy intimate atmosphere. The location is accessible by subway and car. Alternate side street parking is available, depending on when you go - it can be a little difficult finding a free parking spot.

The rating was 4.0 so I figured it wouldn't be too bad especially considering you can't go wrong with Indian food. Well you can. I was lured in with the BOGO deals on Ubereats which turned out to be a bait! The entrees came in extremely small portions and with no rice! I've been to many Indian restaurants and never seen portion size this small and felt off with no rice considering the pictures showed rice. The food was also cold, as if it was sitting out for a long time. Yeah, that made sense considering it's a banquet hall. I feel so deceived that they were playing off banquet food that was possibly leftovers from a banquet or sitting out for a long time as freshly cooked restaurant food. The food was cold, stale, and worst of all it didn't even taste good. The chicken biryani was all spice but no good flavor. Just spicy. The butter chicken was practically flavorless AND I FOUND A PIECE OF HAIR. The mango lassi was also soo tart and sour, I wonder if it was also left out and possibly soured. I really would advise everyone to not order food here. Do not waste your money.

On the day of my event all I had to do was show up with the Birthday Girl. My daughters party exceeded my expectation as I had never seen the facility in person until we arrived. The parental lounge was nice and cozy leaving the adults an opportunity to sit down and relax while watching everything through the glass doors. The temperature in the environment was climate controlled leaving guests comfortable. The private party space was lit up with decor, and each child's seat had a special favor for them to take home. Activities took place while eating and socializing, the kids were able to participate in play with Max Adventures staff leaving them singing and dancing for joy. I would definitely recommend Max Adventures to all of those who are looking for a 100% private party space with an amazing staff to assist along the way. Trust Me! Book Your Party Now! Ask someone there for a ballon shaped like a fish for a last minute Halloween costume and they'll give you a blank stare, point at the ceiling and say, "all our balloons are on display." So I ask Siri who sells balloons near me and she comes back with Balloonitude. What a find! I walked in and I'm met with adorable balloon displays, smiles and "how can we help you?" from the owners. I explain I'm looking for a fish shaped balloon and am offered Nemo, a dolphin, a whale, all neatly catalogued. I explain Nemo would be okay, but what I'm really hoping to find is a goldfish.
