I immediately contacted the company and explained this was an unauthorized delivery. They issued only a partial refund and the owner later confirmed they would not refund the remaining balance, despite the delivery occurring after cancellation. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly before disputing the charge. This experience reflects poor internal communication and refusal to correct a clear error. They also operate under the name Liberty Bell Fuel Oil.

I'd informed the property manager for my apartment that the central A/C was no longer working…read moreproperly. An A/C specialist ("FRED") from Superior Comfort Heating & Cooling LLC phoned me on Weds. afternoon April 24th 2024, and he was here before 8am the very next morning (Thurs) to inspect my split-type central A/C system. He quickly determined that the outdoor Condenser Unit and the indoor 'Coil' needed replacement. FRED then contacted my property manager. He returned before 8am the following morning (Friday April 26th) with several large boxes of new A/C equipment (Carrier brand), which he temporarily stored in the garage here. On Saturday morning (April 27th), FRED returned before 8am again, this time with a helper he called his "duct man". They wasted no time in getting to work. I was impressed and amazed by the speed and efficiency with which they worked together. Two hard-working, knowledgeable, experienced individuals working together seamlessly. They completed their work within hours, MUCH more quickly than I expected. They left absolutely no mess behind them. It went up to 90F a couple days later, and I was glad to feel that my central A/C system was now working like new again. Big difference. I highly recommend Superior Comfort Heating & Cooling LLC (here in Philadelphia, PA).

They didn't show, so I called and they said they'll be running a bit late, he said he'll be at my place by noon. Noon came and gone, I tried calling, they don't answer their phones. These guys were no-call, no-show! I can not recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC. These guys are extremely unreliable just like Gen 3 electric and Filippone Electric. Trust me and go with larger companies bc they are professionals for a reason, and time is a valuable commodity ONLY you and I know what your "fake professionals" truly did. Converted my garage into a bedroom and hired EMCO Tech to install a Carrier Infinity minisplit…read more They did an excellent job. They came three separate times. First visit they ran all the wiring, lines and drain before drywall -- and didn't even take a deposit. Second time they installed both units and protected the indoor unit with plastic and cardboard so the painters wouldn't damage it. They took half the payment then. Final visit, after painting was done, they finished everything, started the system up, and I paid the rest. The same two guys -- Leo and Alex -- did all three visits. They were super professional and respectful. They always parked on the street instead of my driveway, wore shoe covers, and were very careful with my dog. I even bought them lunch twice because they were that nice. Everything turned out great. The room looks beautiful and the system works perfectly. Highly recommend EMCO Tech.

Our boiler broke down in March 2016. We contacted several companies for quotes. EMCO Tech came in…read morewith the lowest price--nearly half the quote from another, well-reviewed local company. I was skeptical. Also, I was wary of the one-star reviews below. When I spoke to the company's owner, Serge, he offered an honest assessment of the negative reviews, admitting growing pains and lessons learned. I trusted him. He also offered all the relevant details about the boiler installation, including the specific make and model of the boiler. After researching the specific boiler, I felt confident choosing EMCO for the installation. The team installed the boiler within a week over two days. They returned several times to make sure the installation was a success. As most experts will tell you: A new boiler will inevitably have an issue or two. Our boiler had no real issues, and we've been happy since installation. Everything works great. I'm writing the review now because I've just called EMCO Tech for yearly cleaning/servicing (which was, again, half the price of other companies). I always tell myself: I should write a review for that company (when they're good). So now I'm writing a review! Thanks, EMCO Tech.

The crew showed up on time and were friendly. They also didn't try to over sell their maintenance agreement/contract. The price was more than fair. They took the time to explain to me (who never had a home that needed duct cleaning) how the process works and the extent of the services for which I paid. They could not have been nicer. Adam's company saw the switch off when they came in and asked if I turned off the switch. They turned on the switch & everything was working again. They told me a lot of people turn it off not knowing. I was thankful that it wasn't any major. I wasn't happy that they charged me an additional $60 for labor. $180 for being at my house for less than 5 min. Then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to clean my furnace for $412. I will NEVER use this company again. Straight greed!

At that exact time, I was getting ready to call and cancel because I had already troubleshooted the issue myself and confirmed my system was working normally, so the service was no longer needed. I looked at their website, and saw that they do duct cleaning, and the reasons for doing it. I called on July 3rd and I said I would like to hire them for the service. He explained what he was going to do and then went about cleaning the ducts. He said there was a moderate amount of dirt, and that he has seen worse. After he cleaned the ducts he vacuumed the unit itself, and then blew a chemical into the ducts that would kill any bacteria that happened to be there. I thought it was good precaution to take. He also showed me a better way to put the filter in the unit. I gave them 5 stars -- only because they didn't have an option for 6 stars. It's great to know there's a company like this out there.

They asked if I wanted to reschedule for the next day or wait until they knew whether they'd be able to make the appointment I made. Wait, what?
