I'd like to offer a bit of advice as far as the air con. Wonder why older women are bitchy on business trips and vacations? These damn hotel rooms don't have an air conditioner that stays on all night. I got four hours of sleep because I had it cranked down to 69. It was fabulous and I fell asleep with my sheet on. It kicks off for 20 or 30 mins and I wake up hot and sweaty waiting for the dang thing to kick back on. Repeat this 30 times and you have an agitated, sleep-starved woman. Can IHG not recognize that if they'd allow even just a constant fan, we'd still get air circulation and white noise and probably only need the ac at 71 or 72 and get much better sleep? The rooms are the standard Hampton Inn rooms that are well-maintained and kept clean. I checked in quickly, got my digital key, and was in my room in no time. I was trying to get on the road early and it was nice that the breakfast was up and open a few minutes before the 6:00 start time that they had announced. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and tasty. Located on the south side of town access to the hotel has also improved lately as the construction in the area is now completed. Further development of the area now has an Arbys and a Taco Bueno available with a quick walk across the parking lot. I definitely recommend staying here if you are going through the area.
