It's been years since I've stayed at a Best Western, and I'm delighted I have this one a try. Five…read moresolid stars because the only complaint I had was the weak coffee. The rooms are huge and well appointed, with the sitting area (I think that's standard..?). Though the sofa and chair were overly firm, the beds were plumb cozy with nice linens. Everything seems freshly remodeled, which is to say it was all clean, unstained, and un-tattered. Toiletries were simple but nice, decor was updated, and staff were lovely. The night clark even offered up a late checkout unprompted when we showed up around midnight! Breakfast, as others have mentioned, certainly exceeds expectations. Not the best I've ever had, but at this hotel's price point ($87 all told on Expedia), they've achieved champion status with the sausage, bacon, and hash browns, and the cooked-to-order eggs/burrito station (apparently they have biscuits and gravy too on alternating days!). They use fresh eggs too! Not that prepackaged nonsense. Another highlight was the fact that midnight parking was available right outside the hotel entrance, not halfway around the building like a lot of other hotels inevitably require. I usually don't stop halfway between Albuquerque and Wichita, but the Guymon Best Western has certainly made the idea more compelling. It's my newly established go-to.

Comfortable beds, everything was new, good included breakfast, nice area and the staff were very friendly. Excellent Best Western Plus!

I am giving five stars to this small hotel in a small town because I was pleasantly surprised with…read moremany of the features of my stay. To begin with, I just want to point out that this hotel does not have a pool so keep that in mind if you are traveling with children or a pool is a must. The front desk graciously allowed me to check in an hour and a half early because I had an appointment for which I had to change into business attire and I was so grateful to be able to do that. By the way the front desk remembered my name my entire stay which was also cool. The king suite is wonderful and it's very large and it has two sets of room darkening window shades, so when I went into the room it was pitch black which suits me just fine because I like to sleep late! The room was spacious and the air conditioner worked really well, and a small thing that I really enjoyed was that they have full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the bathtub/shower and they had a different brand of products than the usual Neutrogena products that Hiltons usually have. I hate the neutragena stuff and this stuff was much better and much more environmentally friendly than the mini bottles. A potential downside was breakfast. The eggs were cooked strangely and had a weird texture. I almost wonder if they added water to the eggs to try to keep them moist longer. The sausage patties are prepackaged and had a strange flavor, and the hashbrowns were kept in the warming tray so they basically turned into one giant soggy mess. However there was still other continental items to eat and I managed to find something and did not feel the need to complain over one or two items. Overall, it was a great stay and although I've never stayed in the other brand hotel close to it I would definitely recommend this one and will stay again if needed.

I go to Hiltons because usually the gym is open 24 hours. Sometimes it says they open at 6 but the…read morereceptionist will open the door. Not this time. I missed my workout before I had to go to work. I will go to the hotel next door next time.
