I stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. Breakfast and coffee was available every morning or there is a restaurant right up the street. Pub 54 I believe is the name. My room was cleaned every day. I would stay here again. Staff was great. read more

WARNING HORRIBLE SAFETY ISSUES--listen to recording. I was injured due to faulty elevator. Below is a summary I had to be helped out of the elevator by fire department due that elevator was stuck between two floors for over an hour. I was injured from the sudden drop. Furthermore No one answered the elevator emergency alarm after three failed attempts. Then the alarm was going off and a power failure. I I called the front desk 4 times and no one answered. I didn't get help until my second call to diamond members. I began recording the incident after no help. I recorded how the intercom didn't work as well as the banging noises the elevator was making while I was stuck. I'm so surprised that when I did contact Hilton honors and said this was a emergency the representative refused to escalate and didn't help me. I had to call back to get another agent to help me.  The hotel continue to lie to me and tell me someone will contact me. The GM Lorena Ochoa De Torres stated I would be contacted by company--I emailed her 3 times and no responses. Then Area Manager Michelle Munger stayed the company would contact me and still 10 days later no one cares nor providing me any help. The Franchise Owner Rita Patel under LLC 4H hotels Refuses to help. I received an email from Hilton telling me because this is a Franchise they cannot help--/funny that I booked through Hilton and they are branded Hilton but because it's a Franchise Hilton is also no claiming any responsibility with there Brand holders?? I reported the faulty alarm system not working to firemen. I have my phone records documenting all my attempts to both front office and Hilton honors. Hampton Inn & Suites Guymon - Warning injured and no help - Hotels Near Me - Guymon, Oklahoma

I have been a loyal customer of the Hampton Inn in Guymon, Oklahoma for several years and have stayed there multiple times. During my most recent visit, I was told the room rate would be $115 per night when I asked at check-in. However, upon checking my credit card statement later on, it appeared that I had instead been charged an exorbitant amount totaling up to $184 dollars with no receipt provided due to no one being around when I checked out at 5 AM & now - despite attempts made by phone call inquiry into receiving some semblance towards clarity about these mysterious additional fees (which thus far has yielded nothing but empty promises). read more

Generally I've had good luck with Hampton Inns but this place is challenged. It appears to be almost brand new so the stars I do give it are for facility cleanliness.....though the pool was empty if someone had wanted to use it. The problem is they don't appear to be very organized or have their bugs worked out. We booked a king suite online in advance yet when we arrived, they only had a standard room. When I showed the front desk staff our booking confirmation, we were told they overbooked and don't have any king suites left (as we were checking in, another couple had arrived to have the exact same problem) but as it was booked through Expedia, they would contact Expedia and address the correction in the charge and we would be notified. Next day, nada for notification...called Expedia and got the royal runaround because we didn't contact them at the time of the problem. When we got to our room, no wifi. Called to find out and was told..."oh ya...its been out for a while from a storm". Then we find we have a non-functional toilet...in a new hotel? Had to use the trash can filled with water from the tub to flush the toilet (wasn't going to pack up and move after arriving and getting settled in late at night). Finally, the fridge was so noisy I had to jamb cardboard under its door so every time the compressor kicked in, it didn't wake us up. Never again in this location. read more

We had the king suite. Very nice. It's a 1 bedroom studio apartment basically. King bed, pull out couch, desk, office with comfy rolly accent chair, closet, vanity area with sink, bathroom seperate, kitchenette. Plus lots of extras! Under $100 for the night! I've tried 10 hotels in 2 weeks. This is by far the best yet! Price is great! The girl on the phone was very personable and helpful. She also was who checked us in and helped with a couple things. Kaybre went out of her way to be helpful and efficient! Made our stay fantastic! KUDOS to KAYBRE!!! read more

Terrible place... I would NOT recommend it to my worst enemy. Yes, the interior of the hotel was clean and new but the good news stops there. First, we booked the hotel through Expedia because it was dog friendly. We were on a cross-country trip and had stayed at several dog-friendly hotels. When we checked-in, for the first time we were notified that each of our 2 dogs would represent a $50 "service charge." I asked for a refund so that we could go to a different hotel and avoid doubling our rate; and were told that we would not be refunded. Essentially, we had no choice -- our room rate doubled. The front desk staff were unsympathetic and callous. There was NO manager to speak with -- in fact, the girl at the front lied saying that the manager would back in the morning to address my issues. The next morning, a different unfriendly front desk clerk told me "I'm sorry, we don't have a manager on-site during the weekend. One last thing, the parking lots were so terrible and full of potholes that I risked tire damage driving through them. Lots of choices in town -- stay clear of this place. read more

7/10/22 I went traveling with my family of 6, we reserved a room at Hampton Inn and Suites in Guymon OK. We were only passing through, this was a halfway mark, and I choose to stay there so we could enjoy our long trip and use the hotels heated indoor pool for a day. After checking in and paying, I got my family to the room, I went to grabbed us dinner, and as I was bringing the dinner up I noticed the pool door with a Pool Closed sign. I asked the lady at the front desk about it, she confirmed it would be closed for the whole day. I thanked her and went to my room. While my family ate, I tried looking up a number to call in a complaint about it being it was the whole reason we came there. All the numbers I found online went to the same automated system that was not helpful. So then used the hotel phone and called the front desk, letting her know I was upset about the pool and needed to know who I could talk to about it. She explained no manager was on duty, and advised she could refund but my family would have to leave (I would have, if it weren't for my tired family). When I continued to ask how I can speak with a manager, I was provided and email. I sent an email but have heard back from anyone as of yet. So now my family is stuck in a room watching TV during our summer vacation... I would not recommend this hotel simply for how they choose to handle situations. It would have been nice to have been told about the pool being closed when I came to check in.... They blamed booking.com for the false advertising.... They don't have an easy way to place a concern or complaint..... They make rude comments like "your family can leave" instead of showing any sort of empathy or willingness to help.... And its honestly overpriced for what it's worth. We use Airbnb typically and overall the value and quality of service is beyond this hotel. read more
