They have a great variety and selection of bikes, both new and used. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Honestly saddened by the downfall of this location. I come by every few years when I pass by to get some new shirts and things since it's such a unique name for a dealership. However, on my last visit, I was disappointed in the level of service recieved. The girl with the curly hair who sells clothes should absolutely not be in a customer facing position. She gives you attitude in such a sly manner that when you recount the events, it doesn't sound like she's done too much wrong. However, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Her tone and the look on her face when you ask her questions very quickly lets you know her opinion on you and how little she truly cares about customer service/satisfaction. It seems she'd rather be snacking or on her phone than be interrupted to do her job. Customer service individuals should be happy to help, or at the very least not condescending when they do it. This girl clearly never got the memo. Hopefully by the time I come back she'll either be fired (I certainly would) or quit. read more

Located on a long stretch of access road this location is not convenient. But honestly NOTHING is convenient in wacky Waco. The road are so jacked up that the first thing that happens is Siri/ google maps looses their marbles. I hated navigating Waco. It was awful. But... the tees were cute and I'm glad I put in the effort to get here. Also- my poker chip. Had to get one of those. read more

This is probably one of my favorite Harley dealerships. It's a great place to stop from DFW to Austin/San Antonio. They provide a nice area to rest in the shade, open the cooler, shop for new gear and of course a pee pee stop. The employees are very friendly and know their stuff. A must is to own a Horny Toad T-Shirt, it rocks. It's worth the time to stop and get off the road. read more

I had a issue with the battery keeping a charge so I contacted my sales guy too see if they could help me out with the battery issue . the sales manger told me they was nothing he could do. I would like to give a thumbs up to Kord Davis who took care of processing my loan and also, is still going beyond on getting me and my new bike took care of and home. Absolutely FANTASTIC experience! I was in Temple for work. I had my bike shipped down, but I was unable to coordinate a time to meet the shipper. Horny Toad was willing to receive my bike from him & store it until I could pick it up. They: Stored it, charged the battery and washed it. They charged me NOTHING! If they give this level or service to a stranger, I can only imagine how well they treat you if you buy a bike there. I went in and test rode a low rider in early March. It wasn't the bike for me, but Josh was a super friendly salesmen and didn't try and pressure me into buying anything that day as I'd made it clear I was just there to test ride. He introduced me to the GM Rich Carlson before I left, and after a 5 minute visit mainly talking about Belton connections, Rich gave me his card and said he hoped he'd get the opportunity to earn my business when I was ready to upgrade. I walked out, truly not thinking I'd be back...but very grateful for Josh and Rich's professionalism. Well, 3 weeks later I called Rich and asked him if they still had the black 2020 Sport Glide I saw in the showroom in early March. I told him that's the bike I want but it seems to be pretty hard to find. Well they didn't have it, but Rich went to work and called me back within 30 minutes with some good news, he'd found a black SG...but it was out in west Texas. He then set me up with Kord the finance manager, and after some discussions on the financial side of things and listening to my needs, Kord and Rich talked and presented me with an offer that I'm still humbled about. Kord himself drove out to Amarillo this weekend and picked up the Sport Glide and hauled it back to Temple. Dealership to dealership, that's about 1000 miles and 14+ hours to get 1 motorcycle. Customer service? They've got it down, thank you Kord. Also Chris in parts was great about answering my questions I had as far as items I'd like to add to the bike in the future, and providing me with quotes for the parts and labor. read more

I drove in from Austin with the intentions of buying a bike , I did some research online before I made the drive , they had a couple if bikes online I was interested in , when I walked in I was greeted by Shawnee and she put me with a salesman , as I was talking to the salesman on a C.V.O a lady walks in the middle of us and just started asking about the bike ( I think it was a lady not sure ) I'm 6'4 280 and that's the first time I have ever been invisible ( : ) ) I didn't want to be confrontational so I backed away thinking my salesman Would correct the situation , this is not what happened He just ignored me and preceded to talk to the person Who interrupted us , I was just taken back by this and walked to my vehicle and drove back to Austin , as I was driving home I called the dealer and told Shania about the interaction I had , and her response was not What I expected " oh sorry " so I drive to Cowboy Harley and bought a bike there , I thought driving to Temple would be a better buying experience , not the case at all , I have just never been blown off like that in My life at any dealer .. Just drove from Dallas to Temple to exchange a tshirt which was a gift from my daughter. With the tag still attached and dealership bag it came in, but didn't have the receipt. I was told no exchange for even cost because it would mess up inventory. I explained it was a gift from my daughter and just drove from Dallas. I was told ; I should have called before heading to Temple. So I came back into my truck and headed back to Dallas. I have never had this problem with Longhorn or Dallas Harley-Davidson. So next time we are riding to Austin we will make certain to check in at Waco HD and then continue our ride without stopping at Horny Toad. I will continue to give my business to Longhorn and Dallas. Which I thank them for always treating me like a valued customer; even if I purchase a 5 dollar item or a 15,000 dollar item. Very, very disappointed with Horny Toad. read more

Very clean and organized! It was very easy to look around and find what I was looking for. It was very airy and well lit up. A man helped us out and gabe us helpful hints regarding shopping for shirts etc. He was very polite. However, the girl that checked us out was not as friendly. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Took my twin-cam in for 30K mile check up, service man told me 1 day in, next day out, which was ok because that's all I have for transportation, plus needed air cleaner replaced (old hyper drive trashed). Ordered new air-cleaner 3 weeks in advance, it was on the shelf when I took my bike in. Again, service man told me no problem, just call to confirm it's ready. Every day I called to be told mechanic looking for hardware for air-cleaner (all hardware came with it). 7 working days later I called the GM and asked him wtf is going on with my bike. He told me, with no explanation to why it had taken so long, to pick up my bike tomorrow. Next day I called and was told to come pick it up, that it was ready. Went to pay bill of over $500 including labor for installing air-cleaner. Went to start bike, something was different, didn't sound the same, maybe was not in factory specs before, I don't know but ran ok, however on higher speeds it would chock and die. Called (Horney-toad) service dept. these guys couldn't care less, and was told maybe I got some bad gas, to bring it in and they'll check it out, more $$$. Nope. Less then a year later I had to have engine overhauled due to crack in intake manifold, caused by what ? Over tightened manifold coller ? Manifold forced change position when new air cleaner installed ? Who knows. In retrospect, should have taken it back to let them find the problem ? Again, nope, they had no empathy for my situation. read more

The very worst customer service I have ever had in my life (70 years old). Purchased 5 T-Shirts during the hog rally this year (2017). My wife was sold a childs shirt for a mens. Called & talked w/a lady named Michael & was told to packaged it up & return & she would send us a replacement. Did so right away & then 5 days after returned receive a phone call from her telling us the manager wont replace....THATS CRAZY!. This a T-Shirt is any one home?.....the business this Harley Store is going to be out due to there unprofessional business & bad attitude will out weight 1000 shirts.
