The new owners need to get their act together before they charge these outrageous prices. Also I went back for military day and there must have been 100 kids all over the place. In fact I was partnered with non military people.

Asked pro shop employees to swap out cart they looked at me like I was stupid and told me it is what it is! The temperature for that day was 104deg when we all arrived we soon found out that there was no beverage cart services that day because so Wine called into work so guess what the customers suffer no outside food or beverages we were told on the course but yet no water in most of the T boxes! I can't believe the sloppiness and carelessness that this course showed for the price that people pay! I want a refund!

She acts like its a bother to help anyone who is not a regular. Completely ignores you and acts like you are a total inconvenience. Sighs loudly if you order food and is just overall awful. I play Buckskin as part of a church group shotgun start during the Spring. This group caters to every type of player from beginner to long timer. Every time I arrive at Buckskin the owner is personable, quick to please, and full of life. He knows his niche and is extremely generous and helpful. If customer service is your measuring stick you can't go wrong at Buckskin. It is a very small, arid course. Sprinklers are running 24/7 and sometimes you have to get creative off the tees. There's not a lot of fairway green to play from so precision hitting is best. And even the fairway has a number of rough patches. But the grass has improved from 2006-2016. The greens are slow and thick, more like the fringe on other courses. So that means they are actually more challenging. Just remember to lighten up when you head off to another course. Carts are "beasts" but always seem to run. All in all, if you know what to expect, you can have a decent run at Buckskin and it's especially nice for beginners. Be prepared to move you're ball around some holes and dirt from time to time. Beyond all that terrain though, you will find a genuine mom-n-pop feel and a gregarious serving attitude.

it was friday afternoon and probably the last time we'll see no work at work so how about go hit…read moresome golfs and watch how the other half boats? set between Highway 240 and the river this is an interesting little pitch and putt because it includes both disc- and foot-golfs on the ticket besides a fairly well kept driving range. not that anyone is counting but the foots thing really would have helped in my soccery youth... a bucket of balls is budget friendly but a person really wants to show up with a couple of clubs otherwise the pickings are slim... that being said it's not really cost effective to haul my rig out here for two weekends so I'll probably drop by a resale shop if I come back and then leave the clubs for the locals to use :-)

Not everyone does but it's worth a try. I have had a few times in a twosome that I have been stuck behind a foursome right off the 1st tee. Not ideal. The cafe is solid and the ladies are nice. Been more than once that they didn't have a dog ready to order. I guess it could be worse. My only concern to note is that I have ran into golfers who have poor etiquette which slows down play, no Marshal on course. Sometimes these golfers don't know to let you play through. Something a Marshal could handle pretty easily. Prices are very competitive though. Twilight hour prices you can't beat. I will be back.

Every time I have been there this year the round has lasted well over 4 hours (4 hours and 50 minutes today). The course gets backed up often, and the course does not enforce a quick pace of play. We had to tee off 5 minutes after our tee time, and eventually called the club house to have a Marshall find which group is holding everybody up because it took an hour to play the first three holes. The club house then told me that they don't have a Marshall and we should just ask the group ahead of us to let us play through, which doesn't really matter if they're also being held up. The course is also wedged between a highway and an airport, so if you're looking for a quick and relaxing day of golf, you won't find it here.

They have state of the art screens with a variety of games and courses you and play with a nice set of tees and clubs per screen. The also have a great selection of bottled beverages. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with my private event. We booked a 2.5hr event and ordered a selection of their pizzas, fries, tacos, and hot dogs. We quickly learned their kitchen has limitations involving 1 oven so the food came out at a snail's pace due to the bottleneck. Also, they don't have a ice machine (or any ice for that matter) so we had to go to Zip's next door to cool out beverages. This place serves shots as well as bottled drinks, so it's interesting ice wasn't available if someone wanted a mixed drink. The last set of food came out exactly at the time when the party was supposed to end. I need to be transparent that the staff (while extremely limited) was kind, extended our event half an hour and gave me discount... but I'd rather not deal with over a dozen hangry people and pay full price. Most of the food also was given a copious amount of "Mason sauce" which was similar to honey mustard. The sauce was hit or miss with my party and we eventually requested that the sauce was served on the side, and hopefully the business will do that for most of their menu items. Overall, we all enjoyed hitting the balls in their facility. What irks me the most was the coordinator for the event knew of the shortcomings and never really followed up for feedback or updates.
