Not everyone does but it's worth a try. I have had a few times in a twosome that I have been stuck behind a foursome right off the 1st tee. Not ideal. The cafe is solid and the ladies are nice. Been more than once that they didn't have a dog ready to order. I guess it could be worse. My only concern to note is that I have ran into golfers who have poor etiquette which slows down play, no Marshal on course. Sometimes these golfers don't know to let you play through. Something a Marshal could handle pretty easily. Prices are very competitive though. Twilight hour prices you can't beat. I will be back.

Decent course for beginners. Problem is there's a lot of shitty golfers out here usually. With the…read morefairways being quite narrow people who generally don't hit strait, this leaves plenty of room for accidents. I've played here several times. Many times there's a ball in your fairway that didn't come from your Teebox! But the biggest issue today is the pace pod play due to a combination of everything I've said so far! I'm playing right now and been sitting for at least 15 minutes in the 4th teebox. Apart from myself on the Teebox, there are three groups ahead from green to tee ! (which is why I have all kinds of time to post this review!) I guess it's a public course... Say no more!‍‍

Pretty straightforward course with wide fairways... waste areas/bunkers are frequently in play and are very challenging when you get in them. But all the action starts on the crazy fast and undulating greens...lots of 3 putts built in. This track makes you do that "course management" thing. All in all, a great golf experience and am looking forward to playing it again.

NO BEGINNING NO END The fairways leading up to the putting greens were manicured so short that you couldn't tell where the fairway ended and the putting green began. That was the first time I've ever played on a course like that. The greens were undulating and kind of crazy, so you need to be very precise with your shots or the ball will roll all the way to the next fairway since there's no rough to stop it. Also, look at the GPS as you approach, one of the holes I completely aimed for the wrong place where I thought the green was. Stay out of the bunkers. They're kind of hard and reddish. I guess it's far away from the beach, no sand. Overall a fun course, we didn't see any wildlife and since we played on a weekday, there weren't that many people ahead or behind of us. NO TREES There aren't any trees here, so there is no shade on this course and you're in the middle of what looks like wheat fields (?), not vineyards, like the name would suggest. The cart has GPS and tells you (and everyone else on the course, with the loud beeping) when you are being naughty and getting too close to the greens or when you are supposed to stay on cart path (par 3). NO BEVERAGE CART! There was no beverage cart when we played, maybe it was too early, but we were hoping the wine cart would come to us at the "Wine Valley Golf Club", but it did not. How are you guys going to make money if you don't sell overpriced drinks from the food cart to the golfers? Recommend: scheduling your wine tasting at Long Shadows after your round of golf since they're both on the same road, about 20 min away from downtown Walla Walla. Or maybe do the wine tasting first lol.

The Riverfront Trail goes along the Columbia River with amazing views of the scenery and is well-maintained. We walked part of the Riverfront Trail in the downtown Richland area and I can't say anything bad about it. The trail was well paved as people could walk, bike or rollerblade due to its flat and smooth surface. Many people use this trail and along it, were benches and trash bins. I recommend walking along the Riverfront Trail when you're in Richland as it gets you up close to the Columbia River and depending on where you are, you could even stop in and swim or dock off from it on an American West cruise ship. A space where you can walk and get fresh air is needed in all communities and this is an exceptional one in Richland.

With the recently paved sections added to the Bradley Landing section, the trail now spans four miles from Leslie Groves Park to Columbia Point. It's a flat and wide trail that meanders through a variety of extremely palatable scenery along the Columbia River. Mucho gusto! However, I do have a question. Milfoil is the bane of Green Lake and Lake Washington. But on the Columbia River, it's dead tumbleweeds. They collect in huge mounds around boat docks and in the river's nooks and crannies. Which agency, if any, is responsible for tumbleweed cleanup? Would it be the City of Richland, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the State of Washington?
