It's been a few years since my first experience with Horizon, but now as I'm getting ready to replace my HVAC unit in a new home and going through the process again, I feel compelled to remind as many people as I can of what terrible company this is. For the love of God please choose any other HVAC company on the East coast for quote on an install of a replacement system for your home. The whole experience was high pressure and worse than buying a used car. Absolutely atrocious sales tactics. How many times do you have to come to my house to give me a price? I cannot help but cringe at the misinformed, vulnerable potential clients this place preys upon. Do yourself a favor and shop around. They wanted to charge me over $11K for a Lennox heat pump (swap out of an existing unit) on a 1500 sf town home, which is only a 2.5 ton unit! Get outta here! Made the mistake of calling them once, and will never, never, NEVER make that mistake again. read more

Horrible. Quadruple the price of other estimates I received and use scare tactics to try and con you into a deal. Never again. read more

Wouldn't even take a look at our issue because it was previously worked on by Roto Rooter, and somehow he thought that was a conflict of interest. Very disappointed that we waited around for this all day and feeling like I have no idea where to turn next. read more

Horizon, on a Saturday, diagnosed and replaced my hot water heater in less than 4 hours. Their technician was super and did a great job and a great price with a super warranty. Highly recommend! read more

On two visits the service technicians did not have the correct size filters to replace in my units. I have been waiting 8 months for the filters from my A/C tune-up and now a month for the filters from my heat tune-up. Called customer service a number of times and each time they say the order has been placed and someone will be in touch. No one was ever in touch with me and I've wasted so much time on this. Asked for them to be delivered via mail, dropped off at my house, or a credit. Shouldn't take 8 months for this. Don't offer this part of the service if you can't follow through. read more

At least the 2x the price as your local plumber. They sent two kids on a Friday afternoon to install a new hot water heater. They wanted to charge 2200. When I asked them for 15 min to call for a second opinion and confirm with my wife they told me that they were being inconvenienced " hey it is 4 pm and we are giving up our Friday night to do this job". Well I wouldn't want to keep you from happy hour. I laugh everything I see their friendly service commercials. Doth protest too much. read more

It's been a year or two since my experience with Horizon, but now that A/C season is upon is, it's on my mind again, and I felt compelled to write a review. I had Horizon out for their AC service special - $99 for them to check things out and "guarantee" the air conditioner for the summer. What a complete joke. A very nice young man showed up at my house, was very courteous and polite, but he did absolutely NOTHING. I told him that the AC had not been working great earlier in the summer, but seemed to be doing OK then. He supposedly went out to check the unit, but was back in very quickly. He provided me with a paper that said to improve efficiency, since my unit was over 10 years old, I should consider replacing it., but he did not note any particular problems with the unit Then he was on his way. A few weeks later, my condenser coils froze. I called Horizon, and they said that they could guarantee anything that wasn't noted as a problem on the inspection report. Well, since the inspection report recommended replacing the unit, I saw the writing on the wall there and decided to have another company come out and check my AC unit. The new technician found that I was 2.5 lbs low on freon. My suspicion that the Horizon technician had done absolutely nothing was confirmed. I was going to write to Horizon to demand the inspection fee back, but never got around to it. What a scam - they get people to pay them to come to their houses and recommend work which everyone knows is way overpriced. My advice - find a smaller, reliable, local company to do business with. read more

Be very careful when dealing with these people, they can empty your wallet fast. They advertise heavily which is expensive and you end up paying for it. Part of their advertising is a low cost Heater / A/C tuneup. Once you let them in the door they seem to find a problem with an expensive fix. Their techs work on commission so they're not making money unless they find a problem. Horizon is well known in the HVAC industry for their ripoff prices. Better to deal with a local dealer who wants to earn your business with honest pricing. Buyer beware. Here's another example of their ripoff pricing. I needed a new kitchen faucet installed and asked for the labor charge. They wanted a whopping $350 dollars!!! I found a local handyman who did it for $75 bucks. What thieves!! read more

Absolutely avoid Horizon at all costs. My boiler went out when it was below freezing (28 degrees). No COVID protection protocols in place. Tech had no mask nor offered to wear one. Tech had little to no experience. Tech erroneously diagnosed the problem and tried to replace parts of my heating system that did not need service, then pushed the "membership program" on top of the huge fees to replace two simple electrical components that cost $20. Horizon predatorily offered to replace them for $750. Tech did not have the electrical parts, said he had to get them, then never came back. Three days my house has been without heat. I called dispatch six times wondering when they will do the fix. Some people told me they had the part, others said they weren't able to get it. A follow-up service call was scheduled, tech was a no-show with no notice. I called about the no-show and tried to get a supervisor to help twice, dispatch said he would call each time. To this day, no one has ever called me to address the problem, my boiler was never fixed, and no one seems to care. Horizon is all talk and marketing. When this company dies, I will be the first to dance on its grave. Hire a good, family run HVAC services company that's been around awhile. read more

I called Horizon Services on February 14th for a clogged sewer drain and they were able to dispatch a technician to the property on February 15th. The service call was originally tagged a warranty repair as Horizon was previously out to the property to unclog the drain during the past 12 months. The technician snaked the drain twice , which was unsuccessful in unclogging the drain. Rather than seeing what additional resources to bring in to unclog the drain , the technician told me the drain was totally clogged and nothing more could be done. He packed up and left , leaving me with a clogged drain and sewage being back up in my basement. I called Bommer Plumbing who was able to dispatch their drain technician to my property that day. After 2.5 hours of several different approaches including working with the Magnolia Sewer Department, the drain was unclogged and everything is back to normal. It's a great marketing phrase that early is on time , on time is late and late is unacceptable. It's a better business practice to fix a problem even if it means that the service call will take longer than expected. read more

I've used Horizon twice. Each time I had to call them back a couple months later to repair the same problem again. They are so expensive, they charge you a fee for just using them the first time. I'm done. I gave them a chance because I liked their tv ad campaign, but I've got more important things to do with my time & money than wasting it on them!!! I'm going back to Wexler Plumbing- they always got it done right the first time. read more

UPDATE: A customer service rep reached out and refunded the tech fee of $79.50. I would still NEVER recommend this company to anyone. A tech named Alex came out to look at my gas boiler on a Thursday. The heat was working downstairs, but not upstairs. Horizon recommended that a few parts be replaced and quoted $2200. They stated they would be back the next day or the weekend, but ended up coming on Tuesday. The tech told me after 10am and then the scheduler called saying they didn't have that on the schedule and the same tech would be out between 2 and 6. A different tech named Brandon, showed up saying he was there to assist the original tech as he was a new guy. The second tech looked at the boiler and recommended I get an estimate for a whole new system as what he could see looked beyond repair. This tech didn't even take out a single tool! I followed along and a "comfort consultant" by the name of Matthew came out for a free estimate. This guy was pushy and would not allow us to think about a $15,000 price tag! He kept bringing the price down for many reasons like paying cash, a 2019 model, $500 off to put a sign in the yard, $1,000 to keep his guys working, etc. The price was down to 10k within twenty minutes. I got a text the next day with a new quote of $9,000, but opted to have a second opinion as it was still a lot of money. The second opinion found that none of the parts that Horizon said needed to be replaced actually needed to be! Nor did they find that the whole system needed to be replaced. This company saw a woman and her elderly grandfather and took complete advantage! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I've become disappointed in Horizon. I thought I made a good decision in calling them but I'm NOT AT ALL happy with the after service concerns. NO ONE has gotten in touch with me about my concerns. Having a great deal of trouble setting up an appointment for a representative to go out to a property I own to examine a break in the sewer line in the driveway which is already dug up and needs to be repaired. The property is 2-1/2 hours away from me and does not require going inside the dwelling but company only wants the owner to be present, not a neighbor or a licensed person like a realtor or a handyman who can represent the owner. What gives? The service people also give out misinformation. One service rep told me that they will not do sewer line repairs only total replacement of the sewer lines--does the public know that? read more

Total scam do not use this company. My ac stopped working. Horizon came said the central unit fan/motor needed to be replaced was not covered by the warranty, the central unit is 4 years old ten year warranty, and would cost 2500 bucks to fix. I got bad vibes from both techs and felt I was being lied to I asked them to leave called a different local company in malvern my AC is fixed and I was charged less then 300 dollars total, from diagnostic to a warranty covered repair. You will pay a little extra in fees maybe 30 bucks but I saved over 2000 dollars. Don't use horizon they scam, lie and god knows what else. Look at most 1 star reviews on Google and Yelp 99% are for scam. Their positive reviews are mixed and tells me they were made by complete idiots or elderly people who tend to just sign the check and not ask questions. Again I 100% recommend you don't call this company for anything. Hey Dave G. I don't post stuff like that anywhere I don't have to. If you were intelligent you could link this with the Google review and figure it out. Your idiot manager called me and since I'm pissed, i know the money I have already given you I was scammed out of, I was swearing because that's what the f#$@ pissed people do, your manager hung up on me. I also have mentioned to your great customer service team that i don't think your genius techs were aware baby monitors can also pick up adult noises!!!! The more I dig online about Horizon the more I find out. They even try to hide online since every company is named horizon and nobody is original. It's the Horizon in Willimington Delaware when you want to report them to the BBB. Not what's listed on their website and Google search results. SCAMMERS. Go ahead and call me again. So you can hang up on me again. Like I wouldn't update my review noob read more

Wife called Horizon to report a burning smell and a tech came out. Looked over everything and said it was fine. He left without putting the heater door back on or putting the filter back in the heater. Just sloppy work. Called horizon to tell them the heater was still apart. Skeptical at best. A/C tune-up $59. Hardly worth Horizons time to send a tech. so expect an up-sell. 14 years old heat pump, never any issues. Checked the condensate pump, phlegm temps (were ok) then to the outdoor compressor. Determined the capacitor was bad, contacts corroded and the motor likely on its last leg. Mind you the capacitor had no problem starting the motor, nor had the reset on the motor ever tripped due to any overload. Offered a "partner plan" (with monthly membership fee) for a 15% discount. Repairs well over $1,000 or unit replacement est. $10,000 - $15,000. Strongly suggest, find another company. The Horizon business model is really a marketing / sales, heavily advertise pitch. Contacts did not look corroded or burned, the motors ran in spite of the "faulty capacitor", motor was diagnosed as an impending failure. Yes the heat pump is reaching its useful life span, first thing that was mentioned. Then the sales pitch.. When the price is so inexpensive it can't even cover the techs time, the real purpose is steer the consumer to purchase their service and system. Our heat died on us a week or two ago. We called and made an appointment. They couldn't come out same day but were able to schedule us for the following day, so we slept with space heaters and a ton of blankets (it was 2 degrees that night). My wife stayed home the next day and waited well past the appointment time. No one came. Turns out they canceled the appointment without telling us, and someone had listed that the heating was "fine". Luckily by the end of that night our heat sputtered back on, but we knew it would happen again. My wife called and explained what happened, and Horizon said they would call us back. They never did. Today, our heat died again. Called Horizon, explained the whole thing and asked to be prioritized because we were left in the cold last time and never called back. They said sorry, no, and scheduled us for Wednesday. It is currently -3 degrees with the wind chill. We are calling around to other companies now. This is unacceptable service. read more

I am selling my house and buyer had the line scoped and said there is a blockage in line, I called horizon to clean the line, the tech name thomas came and request to see paper from township and request to see paper from the buyer inspection, I told him that he need any paper to clean sewer line, he said he has to camera the line to make sure he cleaned the line. I told him we only need to clean the line, didn't order camera and didn't ask him to do lateral inspection. then He started to screaming and said we are doing it illegal and he is calling the police. i am not sure whether he on drugs or he was pressured by the company to try to find bigger problem and make the sale. I have to asked him to leave my house! I then called Horizon 3 times and asked to speak with a manger, now 24 hours passed, No one called back since. I can only assume they are guilty. "The Comfort Consultant" came out to provide a free estimate for my boiler which heats my home and hot water and to say the encounter it was uncomfortable would be an egregious understatement! He walked into my home where I directed him to the boiler but instead he proceeded to my kitchen table and sat down without asking or being invited, asked for a glass of water and then spent the next 2 HOURS; yes 2 hours measuring my entire home and completing his paper work and calculations while siting at my kitchen table. I asked repeatedly how much longer, then I sat through an exceptionally boring presentation of the company's technician training regiment, warranty and blah blah blah all stuff that should have been in the literature and NOT wasting my time to make me sit through. about 1 hour in 8 pm I begin hinting that he should leave and email the quote, at 8:15 pm I indicated it was getting late, at 8:30 I said "how much longer I get up early for work" at 8:45 I said I think it's time to wrap this up and FINALLY at 9 pm two hours after he arrived I asked him to PLEASE leave my home! I understand being thorough but this was BEYOND ridiculous and while he was polite and courteous he WASTED 2 hours of my time on a weeknight and left without providing an actual quote. It was I had another repair company come in the day before and that took less then 30 minutes and emailed the quote a few days later. read more

Absolutely do not trust what they are telling you. I signed up for a heater maintenance contract for 1 year. Installation of the heat pump and hot water heater was very good, however the sales tactic used by the salesman was similar to a car salesman, the sky is falling. Your car won't make it. In my case the freon is no longer available. If I had a do over, I WOULD NOT have had the immediate install of the heat pump and hot water heater with out contacting other companies for adequate competition. I write this because the price quoted appears to be high. I was stuck because the heat pump went out on a Sunday during a cold snap. Perhaps a repair was adequate rather than a complete replacement. In addition their Customer Relations is pathetic (and I'm being generous). Nothig is worse than being blown off. I would rate them '0". Too bad you there are no negative ratings. For over a week I've tried to contact them for a credit and they have not returned numerous call. The Install is a"5" everything else (pricing and customer relations is 0). read more

The worst experience I've ever had with a company. I waited 5 weeks for an appointment to repair our AC unit that wasn't working properly. They were supposed to come between 12-4 (showed up at 6:30 pm). The repair guy quoted us $1700 to repair a fan and capacitor on our unit as a "bandaid" and told us all of our AC units, heat pumps, and dampers needed replaced $$$$$. He left without repairing anything. Total waist of time. I called a different company they came out the next day, told me our units were in great condition I needed a capacitor replaced and the fan works fine ($300 for the emergency call and repairs). It was bad enough to wait for the appointment with Horizon, then wait all day for them to show up, but then to be lied to like that and have such ridiculous prices for unnecessary repairs is unethical. read more

Be very wary of these guys. They had me convinced I had a broken pipe and needed to dig up my foundation. They brought in a slick salesmen and showed me a blurry video to try and convince me. When I wanted to call my always reliable insurance agency, USAA, they recommended against it and suggested I use a recommended adjuster to handle the claim. I decided to get a second opinion and got a reliable expert that told me I didn't have a broken pipe and that he could fix the problem with a pipe cleaner for $150. Haven't had a problem since - well over a year. If I had trusted these guys my whole foundation would have been jack hammered and the cost would have exceeded $10k. read more

I had Horizon Services help me out during a kitchen remodel. The old kitchen had 2 sinks and my new kitchen has 1. I needed 1 sink/ drain cut and capped and another moved 5 ft. The horizon services guy gave me a quote for $2,300. I asked for a breakdown of labor and parts and he said, "that's old-school, we don't do that anymore..." I asked him to give me an estimate of how long it would take him and he said all day. It took him 4 hours and no more than $100 in materials... I'm fine with paying fair wages for fair work, but their flat rate pricing model is unfair. I ended up paying $500/hr for a plumber and that is outrageous!! It was the first contractor I ever hired and it was certainly an expensive lesson. Please beware!! I would never use a company again that can't breakdown parts and labor... before making the homeowner sign a contract for the work. Update: Horizon contacted me and determined that I was overcharged for the work that was done. Instead of simply refunding me the difference, again with their price model, they could offer me a 20% refund... why not just charge for the work that was done???? Then they gave my name and number to a survey company. Seriously, stay away. read more

Used Horizon for another year after initial review. Things went down hill after our super expensive ($1,100) thermostat went. Realized that techs sent out for last two routine maintenance appointments had not looked at thermostat to get system information/check for defaults because they didn't know how. Last tech was super persistent in trying to get us to replace entire system after he found out they couldn't even order the new thermostat for us because they weren't a licensed Carrier service company. We were balking at having to pay $1,100 for a thermostat- why would we want to pay $12,000 for a new system?? read more

This company will attempt to take advantage of you just like they attempted to take advantage of us. Always get a second opinion! Our experience with Horizon Services was like many of the reviews you read on here. Our heat pump stopped working so I contacted Horizon Services to come out and find out what the problem is. Keep in mind it's early spring in Pennsylvania and I have two small children in the home, so heating the home is kind of essential. I was at work but my wife was home when the tech came out. The tech found we had a short somewhere in our system and advised it was going to cost us $500 for them just to find the short. He then advised my wife (and me via telephone) that once he finds the short, the repair could cost as much as 3K, depending on what part is shorting out. Our system is fairly aged so I asked what it would cost just to replace the system. He advised he would need to contact one of their sales reps and have them come out to meet with us and take measurements. A short while later, another gentleman came out to our home and spent a little bit of time taking measurements. He then presented to my wife (and me via phone) that we have three options for replacement. $10K, $12K, and $15K, depending on whether or not we wanted good, better, or best. He then began to sell us on the different types of financing we could get. of course, we felt like we needed to get this taken care of immediately because of our kids so we ended up choosing the middle option. The salesman told us he would have space heaters delivered to our home to help us keep warm through the night and the installers would be out in the morning. He advised that they should arrive my 7:30 PM. I know nothing about HVAC so I started inquiring with other folks about their experiences with these kind of issues. They all noted that they felt the price was really high and that we should seek further advise. I agreed. I met up with my neighbor and told him the story of this experience. He immediately contacted his HVAC guy (a local small business owner/operator) and explained our situation. He agreed to come out to our house and diagnose the problem. He was there within 20 minutes. Keep in mind this is a Friday night at 6:30 PM. He identified our problem quickly noting the short was coming from frayed wires in the outside unit that were touching metal and shorting the system. He took it upon himself to get us back up and running by correcting the wires and verifying the rest of our system was still in good working order. He did note on component that should be replaced and I gladly stated I would have him do the work. He noted in the future he could probably replace our entire system for $6500 but noted that would probably be a few years down the road. He also gave us good advice of what we should do going forward to maintain this "elderly" system going forward. He didn't charge me for the impromptu service, but I paid him $100 for his trouble. He will be coming out today to replace a fan motor on our outside unit. The space heaters were never delivered by Horizon. The sales guy called me yesterday...not to speak about my experience...but to see if they could get their space heaters back. When I told him they were never delivered, he claimed they were left on our front step (which they weren't). I then advised again that I was not pleased with their callous attempt to take advantage of people. He attempted to apologize stating it was not his intention to take advantage of our situation. I noted the tech's explanation of the costs just to get him to find a short. The sales guy advised this information had already been sent to management and was being investigated. Yeah...ok. read more

Bad experience all around. 50 gal. water heater went Saturday of July 4th weekend, so i get my options were limited. Called Horizon and answering service said they don't carry 40 gal. on the truck but I could work with Technical scheduler, who got on next. He told me they do carry 50 gal on the truck and technician would call before arriving. When I asked about prices I was told technician would provide that info. Sunday the technican arrived in given time window (2pm-6pm) but did NOT call, and did NOT have a 50 gal on the truck and seemed surprised at my request. Took him about 1/2 hour to inform me he had to make a 45 minute trip to get a 50 gal, putting me 2 more hours in the hole. I asked about prices and he opened a printed book and showed me a price of around $2,150 (not sure that covered installation). That was more than 2x any quote I later checked. I was stunned, even if Horizon was providing a Bradford model and other quote wasn't. I believe the misinformation on having the 50 gal. on the truck, no advance call, and no up-front price quote was all to put pressure on me to accept the high rate as the clock was ticking to get the heater replaced. My request from my original call was to replace a Bradford 50 gal with same. I understand a phone quote would be an estimate as other issues could be uncovered doing the job but that is the normal business with quotes. read more

Unbelievably over priced! Recently needed a hot water heater replaced and I won't be calling horizon again. I received and estimate of 3 options for a hot water heater all of which were ridiculous. The tech tried to push what he said was "the best option and the one that most customers go with," which was over $4000! For a hot water heater! Of course that price also included guarantees and future services if needed but I would never pay that much for a water heater. After I told the tech the price was insane they immediately dropped a grand, I don't remember how he was able to drop the price so quickly but it felt like I was talking to a used car dealer. He kept having to call his boss to see if I could get a better price. Right then I decided I'd be calling someone else no matter how low the price ended up being. The tech got more pushy as I kept trying to say I was going to get another estimate and eventually he said the final price was a one time deal. He said if they left the house and I called them back the price would have to be renegotiated since they would have to come back. Final price after 15mins of phone calls was $1250. The horizon I called was in Mt Laurel and of course I ended up going with another company. read more

Horizon had been repeatedly calling my home offering free follow-up maintenance and filter replacement for our furnaces. We fell for the free thing(ps...in case I forget...they never changed the filter). The furnaces(& water heater) were working fine but after a 2 minute inspection they literally "condemned" them. They shut them down and put big stickers across the front panel of the furnaces(covering the operating instructions) saying they were dangerous. They then told my wife we are in significant danger of carbon monoxide poisoning if we don't get them replaced asap. They also did us a "courtesy" inspection of our water heater(working fine...not leaking) and said that it was imminently going to break down and flood our basement. This was all told to my wife after 10 minutes of being there. They then had the audacity to have my wife sign a document saying "I acknowledge this unsafe condition and will take action to fix as soon as possible" . Basically, we re under some obligation to tell Horizon we're going to fix something in our own home? To cap it off...everything was working fine before they got there...after they left we haven't been able to get one of our furnaces started after they shut it down. We have a friend of the family HVAC guy coming today...it will be interesting to hear what he finds. I will certainly add to the post shortly. I question whether the guy who came was even a technician...my guess is he was a salesman for Horizon. Ridiculously unethical and devious behavior on the part of this company. Follow up: 2nd opinion showed no mechanical concerns and a $1.50 shorted out fuse that blew while Horizon was there. We replaced the fuse and air filters and running like new. Total scare tactic and manipulation to get us to purchase a new system on the part of Horizon. read more

My gas boiler wasn't working so I gave these guys a call. The first time, the guy charged $90 for the service call (not unreasonable) and reset the switch that triggered. 1 week later it stopped working again. I called them on a Sunday morning and they were out later in the afternoon, which I was pretty happy about. The technician looked at a few things and then the sell was on. He told me I needed a new chimney liner because the switch triggered. He also went over a few other things wrong with the setup of the boiler as well. He was very knowledgeable about the system and answered all of my questions. However, he turned off my system and didn't fix it at all because he said it wasn't safe to run because of carbon monoxide (I have 2 new detectors a few feet from the boiler and they never went off). He quoted me prices for a few options to get it up and running. First option: Get a new chimney liner and don't do anything else. For this I needed to call a chimney company to get a quote but he said it may cost around $1,500. But my thing is: how do you know I need a new chimney liner if you HAVEN'T EVEN LOOKED AT THE CHIMNEY??? I would have thought he would have looked in the pipes that connect from the chimney to the boiler at the very least, in order to see if there was any type of blockage first. Second option: New chimney liner. Replace a few parts on the boiler. $4,500. The itemized breakdown had a price of over $1,000 for an autofill valve. That immediately raised a red flag for me. Why is this part so much money? Is it made of solid gold? I asked him and he said it is a very expensive part. I looked it up after he left and the part is roughly $50. Don't give me the crap about the warranty either because you don't pay 20x the price of a part to have a warranty. Third option: New boiler system and chimney liner. Although a salesman would have to come out to give an exact quote, the ballpark number for the new boiler installed was between $10,000 and $12,000. If you literally search "how much should a new boiler cost installed", the average price is between $3,000 and $7,000. What I actually did: I found another heating service company who came out and fixed it the next day. The chimney issues? There were 2 dead birds in the pipes that connected the chimney and boiler. The Horizon guy didn't even bother to take a look. The other heating company said that may have been why the switch triggered, although it was probably because there was a ton of air in my baseboard system. The new company replaced a few other things and flushed the air out of the system. The total was $600. The boiler runs better than ever now. Bottom line: It's probably not worth bringing these guys in for anything, unless you are in a real tough spot and are willing to pay a large premium for any type of work. I wouldn't even recommend this company for a quick service check on your equipment. While the technicians are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they will try to overcharge you significantly for any type of job. One of the other reviews mentions that they receive a kickback on how much they are able to sell a part to you which makes sense why I was quoted $1,000 for a $50 part. Maybe the guy was trying to get all of his Christmas spending money from an unsuspecting customer in one shot. If you get an itemized quote for something, go online and look up how much the part should cost you in order to see if they are giving you a fair price because they probably aren't. I would definitely not recommend this company for anything at all. They also charged my grandmother over $750 for a new trap under her bathroom sink. The parts for that job cost maybe $40 tops. read more

Unfortunately I have to give a star to Horizon to move to the next screen. This company advertises heavily that they are one stop shopping for plumbing, hvac and drain clearing. I will NEVER use them again! Here's why: I called them on a Friday clearly stating that my tenant had a slowly draining sewer line. Provided my tenant's contact info and my info for payment and billing. A day later, not 2 hours as advertised, a tech comes and my tenant calls me saying they will not clear the drain. It is Saturday afternoon now. I won't get anyone now until Monday because of Horizon. Don't believe the squeaky clean perfect image they advertise on tv and radio. These guys suck! They make no exceptions to the rules that they don't tell you about! Never again. Used the company at least a dozen times before but will use Arrow or any other roto rooter company. Horrible customer service. They don't care if they leave you high and dry--or the opposite in this case low and wet -- on a weekend! Do not use them. read more
