The dining room is right around the corner with the fitness center and HOT TUB. Room 408 was quiet. Had our own dedicated wifi. Hot water was almost instant in the shower. Their toiletry amenities were in an amazing Green Tea scent. Couldn't get enough of it. Only qualm was that they had their hallways set to almost 80ºF. We ended up having to turn on our air conditioning since it was SO warm. Breakfast was included. Always a decent variety. Parking everywhere. Alternate accesses as well. Let's start with downstairs, it's connected to Denizen Hall and you can get to the lobby directly from the car, at the other side of the lobby and reception desk is the old martini bar which has been renovated but they kept some cute features including the old mail box and a collection of amazing photographs of the hotel through the years. Heading upstairs I couldn't believe the size of the first floor. I was expecting ten rooms and I think he said it was 30 rooms! Insane. The rooms are small but this is a crash pad, buddy. You only need a bed, a bathroom, a mini bar and ear plugs. Seriously, they openly say they can't stop all the noise so expect a pair of earplugs on your pillow now a chocolate. This place has a lot of humour and I like it. Each room has either a spray painted mural, a wall of old trunk, a wall of speakers, Han Solo in carbonite and more quirky fun details. the second floor is still under construction but they kept the original hotel sign and that is on display in the stairwell. On the whole I think the concept is well thought out. Hope I can crash there some time. If not, I'll be back to the martini bar.

It was in Sherwood park and very close to their hub. The room was very big, clean and it had a fireplace. It felt very safe and it wasn't busy either. Breakfast was okay. The coffee was decent (I'm a coffee snob) options for bread and bagels and cereal. Yogurt options and then the hot food which wasn't great but no different than any other note of this sort. My only beef was they didn't advise me that their gym was closed. I know I want look for a private gym but I wanted to workout so badly to find out when I arrived that a pipe burst and it was closed!

The issue with the food was that trays didn't hold enough food and people had to stand and wait while they brought out more food. They also ran out of some desserts. The taste of the food was just average. The bar didn't have a large selection of alcohol. It was fun to attend a party but this venue wouldn't be my first choice for the food to atmosphere.
