Some folks just work for a paycheck. Ryan McNaughton does so much more than that. He is a skilled…read morecraftsman who builds porches that are works of art: porches cantilevered over cliffs, porches wrapped around mature trees -- and in our case, just plain ol' porches, too. He seems to truly love and take pride in his work. I interviewed a number of contractors for our porch replacement project, and spoke with references. I have to admit I was a touch skeptical of the absolutely glowing reviews I heard from his references at first. (Were they family members? Would anyone give *my* work such glowing reviews other than my mom?) But after seeing him in action, I absolutely echo all those raves: Ryan is the gold standard. He is fantastically professional, meticulous, and detail oriented; he communicates clearly; and his pricing is on par with other contractors in the area. He says what he means and means what he says. We only have one porch on this house, alas, but Ryan is also an electrician and handyman. Given what we've seen of his work, we're already coming up with a long list of future projects we hope to have his help on!

I would highly recommend you give Ryan an opportunity to bid on any home improvement/carpentry projects you may have.

On March 18th, 2022 my husband and I met with Matt Creech, the Envision Remodeling LLC Sales Rep…read more He was very professional. His presentation was stellar, and he designed exactly what we desired in our Master Bath remodel. His bid was a bit high, but we decided to move forward with the project anyway. Envision required a $5,000 deposit upon signing the contract. Matt told us that we needed to write a check, and that he couldn't accept a Credit Card. We complied. My Husband and I are Senior Citizens. We have an older home, and it was getting increasingly difficult for my Husband to step over the side of the tub to shower. We were very anxious for the project to begin, but the contract's estimated time of installation was in 4-5 months due to supply chain issues. [A 4-5 month wait time seemed a bit extreme.] I called Envision on August 18th, the 5 mbonth marker, to get an update on our Installation. Rachael said that she would contact their Forman, Jacob, to find out where he was at with our Installation schedule. She never got back to me with that information. Fast forward to September 9th, 2022. I called Envision and left a voice mail message with Rachael saying that we had lost our patience and quite frankly any faith in their company. I requested a refund of our $5,000 deposit. Shortly thereafter I got a Voice Mail from Rachel saying that she herself had already mailed a check about a week ago, and that we should have gotten it by now. Then seconds later I got a Text from her saying to disregard her Voice Mail! The refund she spoke of was for another client!!!!!!!! She said that she'd have Jacob call me, which he did. Jacob said that the 3-5 month window was only and 'estimate' and that the Contract clearly reads 'No Refunds'. He offered to drop off the material he had for us in their Warehouse in our driveway. What? Unacceptable! My husband was diagnosed with Cancer in August, and has since then passed on. It was extremely difficult for me to get him in and out of the shower/tub. A Walk-In Shower as promised by Envision would have been a God Send for both of us. I have read several reviews that my Husband and I aren't the only folks they've stolen from. My Attorney is handling it at this point. It is despicable that this Company is still in business. What they've done is criminal. Leigh Morgan, the owner, needs to be investigated. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DIME UNTIL THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETED!
