Please don't make the same mistake we did. We have been waiting for over a year for our deck to be…read morefinished. We requested for it to be stained and the screen to be replaced. He was very quick to meet with us, review what we wanted, and pay him over half the cost. His team came, removed the deck screen and laid it in our yard (which killed all the grass) and power washed for two days. Then he said we needed to up the price to sand the ceiling for the stain to stick (which resulted in massive circles in the ceiling) and then partially stained it the deck after promising for weeks until it got too cold. He never mentioned a delayed period for the wood to dry out and said at max it would be a 2 week job. This all started in June 2025. The last time they worked on it was on November 5th, 2025, which then it was too cold to continue (which I completely understand). So we followed up on February 20th and March 2026 and finally got an update that once things dried up he would get restarted. We were then ghosted until April 9, 2026, which we were told things would be delayed due to rain (which I understand). But then we never heard back since (including during the massive drought in April and May) and we have contacted multiple times since then. So, please take caution.

There was one unexpected thing found when removing old deck that took exactly half a day to fix but he blames the delay on that one thing. He somehow "miss quoted" on the amount of materials needed so added an extra 10% at the end for that. Mostly it was materials he had to repurchase because his guys messed up the first time. No accountability. He showed up exactly 6 times in 7.5 weeks, 2 of those times because we threatened going to our attorney. He never oversaw their work. At end when we refused to pay balance until things were fixed, we he came to inspect, after looking everything over, his actual words were " ok what's the problem? I don't see anything too awful bad here" which is exactly the words you want to here on your brand new deck that you are paying almost $17,000 for ‍ Run as fast as you can from this man and don't let him install ANYTHING on your property. In the end our attorney said we had a case but we decided to just be through with him. Turned out, during our deck build one reason he was MIA is because he was being sued by his last two customers. They won their cases but so far he has refused to pay

Fortunately, the Scott County Fire Department responded quickly and extinguished the fire just before flames reached the attic. The next day, Sam Richardson came out to examine the damage and make a repair estimate. He returned on the 24th with the estimate met with the insurance adjuster. This meeting resulted in a more thorough and complete repair estimate and insurance settlement. On the 26th, a Polis team came out and sealed the window, which had blown out during the fire. This action was extremely important for us considering the sub-freezing temperatures at the time. Sam scheduled repairs to begin on a 10-day time frame beginning on November 28th. Polis teams completed repairs and clean up on schedule, in spite of cold temperatures and outside work. I feel very fortunate to have contracted Polis. The photos are an indication of the quality of their work. Polis is a family-owned business. Sam quickly assessed our needs and reacted quickly to complete repairs. I highly recommend this business. Let me start by saying that calling Mr. Brown was the best move I can make... and the best move you…read morecan make as well reading this! Long story short I was having trouble with my furnace and it putting out the appropriate amount of heat when in emergency heat mode. I called Fayette heating and air only to have them come out to charge me $100 just to tell me that I needed a whole new line put in because my furnace was only getting half the power it needed to... the proceeded to quote me $1350 to put in a new line to the furnace that was less than 25 feet away. I felt that was a tad bit high so we called another electrical company who came out and said the same thing.. new line was needed because there was not enough power. Cool... they quoted me $1000. I still felt that was high especially because they told me that yes it was going to need a new line but that it would be an easy install and it shouldint take too long... So I called WB... Mr. Brown within 15 minutes of being here discovered the reason to why the furnace was not getting enough power.. because simply the wrong wire was hooked up on the furnace from the fuse box. On the fuse box the positive cords were red and black, and on the furnace was white and black, which means all that needed to be done to fix the problem was simply to take the white electrical cord off.. cap it off... and put the red positive one on the furnace fuse and boom... it was getting the full amount of power. No need for new wiring or hours of labor.... Mr. Brown took the time to explain this all to me and to make I understood which I so much appreciate. (The picture I included is him taking the time to show me that he indeed got the correct amount of power after making the wire switch) Through this entire process he showed me that he is about the people and is truthful, trustworthy and not out to take advantage of anyone. He is very reasonably priced and I cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism and his customer service. He went above and beyond for me and I know he will do the same for you!! Do yourself a favor and use WB electric for your electrical needs! You won't regret it! Thank you again!! We will definitely call you first for our needs in the future!
