Our son recently started in Ms. Gallo's toddler class and is absolutely thriving! Ms. Gallo was very informative during the meet & greet and helped eased a lot of my anxieties putting him into a new environment. When he officially started, Ms. Gallo would call and gave updates on how he was doing. Every day after class, she would let us know how his day went and continued to reassure that things would get better. Our son took to her right away. She has been warm, empathetic, and observant of his needs. Over the past couple months, our son has begun to really thrive! He is more confident in himself and very independent. He has taken the skills that he's learned in school and has started generalizing to home. He grabs his plate and utensils when it's meal time. He cleans up after himself when he's done eating. He uses the potty, cleans up, and washes his hands independently. His speech has grown exponentially. He went from speaking in simple sentences with improper grammar and pronoun usage to speaking in complex sentences. It is apparent that his language abilities are really being fostered in class. It is amazing how much he's grown in such a short amount of time. He talks about his friends daily and tells me how much he loves Ms. Gallo. We are so happy that Ms. Gallo is our first teacher and so excited to see how much he'll continue to grow.
