In Just one visit, Dr Scott figured out exactly what was wrong with separate issues my wife and I were having and sent us away with simple physical therapy exercises we could do on our own which addressed our problems, precisely, quickly, and accurately. We know we can always count on Creekside physical therapy.

I could go on for paragraphs (well, I guess I will...) about how thrilled I am with the treatment I've received. John isn't just technically excellent, he's a wonderful teacher; he explains anatomy, physiology, and neurological retraining so well, and that kept me motivated to do my exercises at home. He genuinely cares about how clients are doing, is truly happy to hear when they're doing well, and took the time to make some careful adjustments to my previous crummy orthotics to make them more useful until my wonderful new ones from Dr. Le arrived. One other thing that especially impresses me about John compared with other physical therapy I've had is that he's not locked into a plan with a preordained set of treatments or exercises. On a recent visit we were all set to do some more ligament/muscle/tendon-focused treatments and exercises, but in passing I mentioned a new sensation I had in my foot and he immediately adjusted that day's visit to focus on the nerves in my back and legs in an entirely new way. That flexibility said a lot to me about his holistic approach to treatment. He and the team--Morgan, Beau, and Hal--are all so nice, friendly, supportive, and encouraging, and are really observant and helpful about every detail of body mechanics to make sure that their clients are getting the most out of every exercise. I might post a review of a restaurant without feeling super responsible for the quality of other people's experiences, but I would never recommend anything or anyone that might affect another person's health lightly, so I really mean it when I say that I truly could not praise Dr. Zdor and the team at Creekside Physical Therapy more highly.

Everything went smoothly and my recovery went very well, so when I tore a tendon in my right shoulder playing golf last spring, I returned to his office for treatment. My surgery was originally scheduled for October, but my insurance company denied the claim because there were "no doctor notes attached." The office had 30 days to resubmit the claim, but they did not do so. The surgery was then rescheduled for early March. Before the procedure, my primary care physician ordered my pre-op labs and told me the surgery needed to be completed within 30 days of the lab work. The lab staff confirmed the same information. I called and emailed Dr. Bowman's office to let them know my labs had been completed, but I did not hear back for two weeks. When they finally contacted me, the surgery date they offered was beyond the 30-day timeframe. When I questioned this, the woman I spoke with told me, "Oh, that's okay, we do surgeries up to 90 days after labs are taken." I explained that both my doctor and the lab had told me otherwise, but she insisted they were wrong. After the problems with the insurance authorization, the lack of communication, and the conflicting information regarding pre-op requirements, I decided to seek care elsewhere.

This clinic is not a cookie cutter kind of place. Jay is knowledgeable, highly skilled, and goes above and beyond to help patients. He is very attentive to each patients' needs and provides clear/concise functional exercises. You can tell he is passionate about physical therapy and Therapydia. He is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills to help patients improve pain, mobility, and function. If you want excellent physical therapy, I highly recommend Therapydia! Side note: They have a body composition machine called the InBody (8-point tactile electrode system), which is awesome and rare to see in a PT clinic. I got to do a scan, received a print out, and a thorough explanation from Jay. The scan provides an analysis of body composition, muscle fat, lean muscle, etc. This helps you track your fitness progress in a way that a scale could never.

They seemed to have a great approach…read moreto physical therapy, offering solutions for mobility and injury prevention in addition to more traditional strengthening protocols. During my first appointment, I did a consultation with Jessica. We spoke about my history with knee pain from skiing, and then moved into an assessment on the table. Without any kind of prep, she initiated muscle scraping on my entire leg, which was one of the most painful things I've had to endure. She said nothing to the effect of "we're about to do some muscle scraping, are you familiar with this?" or "this may be painful" or "it can cause pretty serious bruising and tenderness." She just got the tools and went right in. It was excruciating, and I found the total lack of preparation unprofessional and alarming. I was left with huge bruises up and down my leg for days; this was 2 days before a birthday trip where I'd be in a bathing suit, during which I had a massage I needed to cancel due to the tenderness of the massive bruises. Had I been prompted about the severity of this procedure, I likely would have declined or opted for a less intense massage approach (which was what I had explicitly asked for in my consultation and the beginning part of my assessment with Jessica, as massage therapy has helped me a great deal before). My first visit ended with some ultrasound therapy, which was more pleasant. Despite the intensity of the scraping, I was at least interested in the fact that this PT (the fourth clinic I've been to in 2 years) was performing more manual therapy than the others. I figured that I would give it a shot. At my second visit, we did more muscle scraping, and no ultra sound therapy. I was quickly passed off to another therapist to do some hip strengthening exercises, and halfway through she had to ask me which side my injury was on. She didn't seem super prepared to help me, and then brought me to the front desk to wrap up my appointment with 20 minutes still left in the hour. That appointment cost me $168, as my insurance does not cover PT until after I've hit my deductible, so I was feeling a bit shortchanged. I asked if I could be charged for fewer PT units due to the shorter appointment, and the therapist instead took me back to do some stretching. I had arrived to my second appt with some hip pain, and the therapist showed me a stretch that aggravated that pain. Upon telling her that I was in pain, and not in a tight muscle kind of way, she said "yeah, you'll feel that" and dismissed it. I left that appointment in more pain than when I arrived. I am super disappointed in the care I received here.

Kelly at the front desk is very kind and attentive - always greeting me with a smile and setting a great tone for the office! She really knows the patients well and goes above and beyond with her customer service. Dr. Truong has been a crucial part of my healing journey. When other providers had dismissed my back pain because of my age and general health, Dr. Truong was the only one to truly take the time to hear me out and dig a little deeper into the underlying issue. He ultimately suggested an MRI which led us to discover a disc protrusion in my low back. Since the MRI, Dr. Truong has been instrumental in helping me manage my pain through adjustments, suggested stretches and exercises, and massage! He is a very knowledgeable and caring provider. Nestor is truly the best massage therapist that I have ever been to. He can often pinpoint my problem areas before I even have to say it! Through targeted massage and mobility exercises he is able to alleviate my areas of stress and tension. I often leave my massages feeling like a new person! Not only is he a skilled massage therapist, but he also really takes the time to get to know the patients he is treating and how he can best support their healing journey. Dr. Truong and Nestor are a great duo who have been absolutely instrumental to my care. My pain is now at a much more manageable place and that is all due to the team at Elevation! 11/10 recommend!

The website has videos that you can watch so you can repeat the exercises at home! They have lots of ways to help you remember to come to your appointments which I needed!! I wish I would have seen the previous review about this prior to becoming a (formerly) loyal customer. I was a years long Benchmark patient, and have gone to three different locations and seen several PTs. Recently, I took a break from PT, intending to resume in the Spring. However, that changed the other day when I received a collections notice out of the blue; I received no calls, no emails, no mention at my biweekly appointments, and no knowledge that I owe them anything beyond the fee I paid at every single visit over the years. I did receive EOBs from my insurance, and receipts for my visits which I became accustomed to recycling as I was under the impression I had paid in full each visit. I have now spent hours of my day going through my insurance claims over the last two years to review each date the collections noticed listed. In doing so, I realized they did not even credit the listed visits in collections with the amount I paid at each appointment. This business has received years of payments from me and my insurance company, yet once I took a pause on therapy, they silently sent me to collections on a balance owed I was not aware of; this will impact my credit, and the chance I will ever go to their business again, regardless of how great *some* of their PTs are. This time I'll look for a local non-franchised company to support, who does not have a corporate conglomerate drooling at the opportunity to sneakily stick it to their patients.
