Well, some wishes don't come true but I didn't forget to drop in and check out what they have in season. Their clothing boutique is small but quite sweet and was visually appealing. To my surprise, I found a Smart Set dress that was in an exceptional condition (SS was one of my fave stores that was discontinued). It fit like a glove and even better it was prized at $4! What a steal! This thrift store was a bit far off from downtown Langley but was worth the drive out. I would definitely come here again, especially when I donate again but also will be checking out any rare find!

Profits go towards a good cause so that's definitely a bonus compared to other for-profit thrift stores. There's also a free membership program where people can collect and redeem points. I've gotten brand name clothes for a few bucks here and brand name nice bags for $20-30. There's everything from clothes snd accessories, to household products and furniture. There are also gaming systems, instruments, books, baby items, beauty products and much more. They run rotating 50%+ off sales every day on different types of items Sometimes it'll be clothes, sometimes it's kitchen products, sometimes it's arts and craft items. They post the daily sales on their Instagram page so it's super convenient to look up what's on sale before going. I've also made a bunch of donations to the store - just drop off stuff in the bins behind the building during their collection hours.

I took all of my clothes to Value Village and I'M DONE WITH CONSIGNMENT STORES! Their so-called "RULES" do not provide their patrons with the quality of care that's deserved by all. Funny because my clothes were all designer brands and I chose to take off the neck labels as we all know that those labels are very scratchy and uncomfortable. To me the store was uncomfortable and they lost out of quality clothing.All from either "Melanie Lyn and Olsen brands"! The prices are actually very reasonable and cheap as far as I can tell. This store has a lot of books, plenty of CD, DVD & some Blu-ray. The prices for their books, CD & DVD are actually slightly cheaper than Salvation Army, so if you live in the North Vancouver area or is heading towards to Park & Tilford's Brooksbank area, which is around the Phibb's Exchange area, and often go into Salvation Army thrift stores to shop for these kinds of items in general, this place is worth a peak, but I doubt they restock as often as Salvation Army because I first came like 2~3 weeks ago with my friend and again today and most CD/DVD seemed the same. But they also have quite a lot of home renovation items as well, like doors and other home related items that you might need while renovating your place or if you wanted to replace a dresser and whatnot. So if you're doing this kind of stuff at your house and want to potentially save quite a lot of money in the process, this place might be a very good spot to check out to see if they have anything you could use. The employees I've encountered so far had been pretty friendly. Best of all, they also allow doggos to come in and stroll around as well, so if you want to bring your fur baby along to shop with you, you can. So it's pretty dog friendly. He strives to keep household and building supplies from going to the landfill and so resells at ridiculously low prices or often just gives-away great stuff. Today we stopped by to drop off a few things and could not leave without 8 antique beer steins (think Octoberfest) a ukulele, 2 soccer balls, a wicker basket and an Irish flag. How random and how fun. It was Free Friday and the place was buzzing with people. Can highly recommend Urban Repurpose to anyone.
