I cannot stress enough what a good experience I have had with Mobility City of Milpitas. I looked…read moreonline for a wheelchair to fit my specific requirements for several months unsuccessfully before I started calling around. I had nearly given up, but Melissa knew exactly what would work for me after five minutes of conversation. She had a selection of devices ready for me to try when I came in. My personal situation is a little delicate, I was concerned about discussing it, but Chris, Kevin and Melissa treated me with a level of kindness, respect and dignity that I've not encountered elsewhere. They are a dedicated crew and know everything about their extensive variety of top quality products (Melissa has read all of the technical manuals!), and can help you with any question. It's clear that the staff cares deeply about people who use mobility devices, and genuinely want to help. I love my chair, it's changed my life. Sadly it developed an issue shortly after I purchased it, but Kevin and the whole crew worked hard to get me a replacement quickly. I will need more mobility products in my life, and I will absolutely be coming back to Mobility City for all of them.

It was a good range of the Golden Technology offerings (high-tier American-designed medical grader power lift recliner manufacturer in Pennsylvania). I spoke with Kevin, the store manager, and associate Chris. Both were very knowledgeable about the chairs, patient as I tried them out, and helpful in advising me on what I might need for my situation (upcoming back surgery). I'm happy to recommend Mobility City in Milpitas if you need a power lift recliner, and they also have a wide selection of electric chairs/scooters, walkers, etc (I didn't inspect closely, but they had neat, ordered rows of equipment on display and space in the store for customers to demo). Also, if you stop in the store, make sure to say "Hi" and give some pets to Circuit, the super friendly dog.

The front lobby does not have a receptionist. The sign on the plexiglass is to call the number. I failed to see the no knocking on the glass sign - someone looked up from their desk and pointed to the glass which had a sign says to call. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. I had a deductible and a monthly fee since it's a rental. The physical therapist or occupational therapist told us that someone from Apria would reach out to me for home delivery. I checked the website from my phone and also saw the same thing - you need to verify the patient's first and last name as well as DOB. Anyway, I was antsy and called yesterday. Call early because I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was very nice as well; explained my deductible and monthly fee, and that if I were to go, go before or after their lunch hour. I came about 3 minutes before noon. Thankfully I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The gentleman showed me how to use the leg thingies and assemble / fold up. Gavin broke his leg in 2 places Sunday and had major surgery Monday (over 6 hours). It'll be a long road of recovery for him, but I'm thankful he's alive and ok. Just no football for at least 2 years, if ever. He should be able to walk normally in 8 months to a year, his orthopedic surgeon says.

So when the date approached for me to be eligible for a COVID vaccination I checked in with him. He was using Twitter pages and other various methods to identify which pharmacies and other locations were taking appointments. Many of them seemed to open up new appointments at midnight daily, so we agreed to get online the night before we were eligible, connect on Discord and notify each other if something opened up. Then the day before go time he sent me a link, "hey, these guys are taking appointments already, I got one." Calaveras Pharmacy in Milpitas has a very basic website, but the process for getting an appointment was simple. I was able to make one for a week later. The day before my appointment I received a confirmation text telling me to show up 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. On the day of my appointment I arrived on time, expecting to see a line out the door, perhaps around the block, but to my surprise there was only one person there waiting. It seems they only book one appointment every 30 minutes so there was no mob scene. I stepped to the counter and was politely greeted. I gave my name and one of their staff ran me through the process and gave me a clipboard with a sheet to fill out. A few minutes later I handed it back and waited for my turn to get the stabbo. While I waited I looked around. This is a very small, but tidy, well-organized pharmacy. They have a very spartan selection of the basic OTC medicines and medical supplies available for purchase and a full service pharmacy for prescriptions. In addition to English they appear to speak Mandarin and Vietnamese. The stabbo technician came to get me and brought me to the back. Before giving me the shot she explained that she was going to plunge the serum very slowly so my arm wouldn't hurt later. It took her almost a minute to administer the vaccination. I felt only the slightest prick initially and no pain in the days following. Hearing some other's experiences with injection site pain I was grateful to have found such a skilled technician. I haven't needed a prescription since the 1980's (knock on wood), but if I ever do, I would consider driving a little out of my way to pick it up from Calaveras Pharmacy. These kinds of small, independent operations need and deserve support from their communities. If you still need your vaccination consider going here. A few of my friends have and shared the same great experience.

Numotion - New Chair delivered Happy Client

Today, I finally can put the past, the horrible experience with Anthony, Numotion's sales rep,…read more behind. I received an A+ service today, October 8th, 2026. Not only did Jovit replaced the batteries, fixed the lights perfectly, Jovit also went the extra mile to clean my beat-up wheelchair. When Jovit brought back my wheelchair, I was shock to see the beat-up chair looked like a new chair. The wheelchair was so clean. ALL lights were shining bright and nicely tied down with zip ties, on top of the screws, to prevent it from being knock off again. This was the 3rd time I had to replace the right side front light. Because the light was in the way of the wheelchair strap on the VTA bus. I was tired of the light being easily broken by the wheelchair strap. Jovit perfectly fixed the problem. For Jovit's excellent A+ service today, I decided to forget the horrible experience with Anthony, Numotion's sales rep. back in 2023. 2023, my old power wheelchair was falling apart, in a grave condition. I desperately needed a new chair. 2023, I could finally get a new chair. Anthony did the assessments with Reh. at VMC, for my new wheelchair. Then unthinkable event happened, Anthony knowingly canceled my new wheelchair order saying the cancellation was from Reh. at VMC. I asked VMC why they canceled my new wheelchair order? VMC denied Anthony's false accusation. VMC said they had no reason and would never ask any vendor to cancel any orders without talking to the patient first. I then asked Numotion for an explanation from Anthony. Anthony never called to explain, never offered an apology. I complained this to Anthony's supervisor, Ms. Andrea Teixeira, in writing. I never received any explanation, nor an apology from Anthony, nor the supervisor, nor Numotion. I finally realized that Numotion's policy is "never apologize for screwing customers" I thought that I'd never forgive Numotion's horrible services. But today, I forgave Numotion because Jovit's excellent services. I am very pleased that my beat-up wheelchair runs like a new chair.

As a medical mom I deal with a lot of different medical organizations, insurance companies,…read morevendors, etc and by far NuMotion has been the worse I have dealt with to date. They have absolutely no concept of costumer service or doing what's right. Their lack of concern is is actually insulting. If you want the details keep reading. We had them meet us at my sons school months ago to measure and do the specifications for a new bath chair which he desperately needs as he grew out of the current chair. A few months after this we get a call that the chair is ready for delivery. I call back every day for a week and leave messages with no reply. The week after I call again and finally reach someone who says the chair isn't ready because "we don't know what to do with the straps". The straps of the chair they ordered and did the specs for. Then they said they would work on it and get back to me by the end of the week. They never called me back. I started calling again the week after and they said they reached out to the manufacturer and didn't hear back but there is no time estimate. After a week of more calls, totally from my end, they finally say the fixed the straps and the chair is ready for delivery. I wait several more days and they deliver the chair and train me how to use it by saying "you know what you're doing right?" I asked to show me how it worked which they did and honestly the tech that came was the only person who actually made any effort to help. That night we went to use the new chair and there was actually no belt strap. Well there was a small piece of fabric that connected to nothing. There was a chest harness and a leg strap that didn't attach or stay on. This made the chair unusable and unsafe for a 120 pound 5'2" teenager who isn't able to remain still. I emailed every person from NuMotion that I worked with, including customer service, technical team, sales person and supervisor, I did get not a single reply for a week. When I told them I need to get the chair fixed or returned they finally replied a week later and said they will try to get a new strap but there is no timeframe. Another week of multiple emails finally got me the reply that they're sorry I'm not happy with the leg straps and that was it. I asked them to either fix or take back the chair and surprise, no reply from anyone once again. Obviously now I need to get the insurance involved since they already received payment and have no plan of making things right after giving them every opportunity. So after months of waiting and weeks of begging for assistance my pleas were ignored and eventually only partially and incorrectly addressed. Dealing with NuMotion is completely exhausting. They ignore multiple phone calls and emails and have no interest if they deliver unusable and unsafe equipment. They have no integrity whatsoever and I can't imagine how many other people have already settled for their total lack of concern for your child.
