The soonest she could get me in was…read moreOctober 27 for an intake, they required 3 additional appointments at that time for the following 3 weeks. I received an email from them on the Monday before my appointment asking me to fill out the form and print it to bring in with me on my first appointment on Wednesday. Unfortunately, my Bluetooth printer isn't working so I called them Tuesday morning to let them know. They told me to just arrive 15 minutes early and they would leave the paperwork in the lobby for me, as they take lunch from 12-1pm. My appointment was at 1:00. So the email they sent of the form was not something anyone could fill out online, it was a copy of a copy of a copy from the 1980's, and barely readable. Even when they printed it out for me. Upon arrival there was nothing for me so I waited for the receptionist to open her window. First thing she said to me was I was late and they couldn't see me today (I was late by 10 minutes) I found that unexceptionable. So Nicole comes out to talk to me and explain the why (except she didn't). Only that she had a trauma appointment immediately after mine so she couldn't see me. She was dressed like a clown in red shoes, yellow socks, orange shirt and green sweater with a plaid skirt. I may not have all the colors in the right order, but you get the idea. At this point I'm upset, I've waited 3 months for this and she is just now telling me it's a 1 1/2 intake meeting. I had no knowledge of any of this or anything else to expect from her. She can see I'm upset and puts her hands together in front of her and says she completely understands me. Would I like to reschedule? They can get me in as soon as next week. Yet I had to wait 3 months for this one? Something does feel right to me. I feel put on the spot. So I say yes, so I can think about whether or not I even want to go forward with her. Which I did not. Their professionalism was no where close to what one would expect, the decorum was lacking and so was the respect. This is not someone I would confide in or hope to get the healing and comfort or wisdom I was in search of. I canceled all the appointments.
