Nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat with friends and family. The place felt very relaxing, with a nice outdoor vibe with tables and chairs to enjoy your breakfast/brunch as well. Hope Waffle was sooooo good; light fluffy waffle, delicious maple syrup with butter and whipped cream. Served with strawberries and blueberries that were juicy and fresh.

If I could only pick one breakfast spot to recommend it'd be the one, the only my love.... @hopebreakfastbar My go to location is their original in St. Paul. They have grown over the years to now 9 locations! Saint Louis Park Eagan EdinaWoodbury Minneapolis BlaineChanhassenChildren's Hospital I just love this place and here are some of the reasons why: Pork Belly Biscuit and Gravy (can not express how delicious this dish is. It's a MUST. Banana Bread Latte (all of their flavored coffees are great) Buttermilk Pancakes/ Pillow Pancakes/ all of their pancakes the different maple syrups... wow. Jalapeño Maple syrup (not spicy, just flavor) & Cream Cheese Maple syrup are two favorites Even just their traditional breakfast is awesome Along with their top notch hospitality and food they are more than just a restaurant. They're a huge part of the community. They have helped people in need during times of hardship in our communities in MN. Hope along with other restaurants under their ownership are Purpose Driven Restaurants that give back in so many ways and in doing so give people hope. Major shout out and thank you for all you do for people to the team at Hope and @chefbrianingram & @sar_ingram_ You guys are making a difference in our communities. This place is a must to add to your own list. Pro tip: grab a reservation or go early. Enjoy! For more awesome food spots check out the account mallorymademetryitmn on Instagram!

The pictures say it all in my opinion. I love this breakfast spot because of their mix of sweet and savory items. I always bring friends here who are visiting MN and it's always a hit. Service is always prompt and helpful. I would say they sometimes are not the most attentive which is why I give 4 stars instead of 5. Plenty of seating and cool environment. Dining area is always clean and well kept. Pricing is a bit higher but for a specialty breakfast spot I always leave feeling like I got my moneys worth.

As usual, this Hope lived up to all of the others we've tried as well! With the added bonus of being in an old firehouse! If you love the history of old buildings and amazing brunch and boozy coffee, GET HERE! The staff were all very attentive and helpful and made the experience one for the books. The empty plate is because the phone didn't have time to eat first Enjoy some pics of the restaurant too

Food was great, as well as the service and the atmosphere! I enjoyed sitting at the bar where the doors are open to the outdoor sitting area because you still get to be warm and could get a nice breeze! Just a heads up parking outside was a little tricky because it was street parking in a crowded area :)

The restaurant itself is quite small and the parking situation is not the greatest. Apart from that, the ambiance is nice. The service wasn't anything to write home about nor anything to complain about. As for the food? Pretty good. I got the carrot cake pancakes which were fine, they tasted a bit like a candle. Next time, I will stick with my chicken & waffles.

Parking stinks, but other than that we had an excellent experience here. Super friendly staff and good service. Food and drinks were excellent and it's a comfortable, cozy space. Would probably not be my first choice with a large group but for two of us it was fabulous. Vegetarian and gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu and while the space is technically accessible to those using mobility equipment, it's a bit tight so I could see things potentially needing to be rearranged a bit.

Came here on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but I was seated right away! (reservations are good idea but I got lucky) I ordered the horchata cafe ( not pictured) and it was great! Tasted like a cinnamon latte. The steak and eggs were good! The steak was a little dry but that's how I like my meat so it was fine for me! eggs has great flavor, hash browns were good! Just some typical hashed potatoes. The banana break pancakes was the STAR of this meal, they were fluffy, soft, sweet...I'll be coming back to try their German chocolate pancakes!! The hope breakfast was good! Typical flavor and were exactly what we expected from a breakfast plate. GET THE PANCAKES!!! They're fire af Ambiance was chill, I saw families, some people in large friend groups. The summer outdoor patio is cool! The street is blocked off and they have tables out there shared with Astoria cafe

Great spot cathedral hill area of St Paul. Modern and cozy, big portions (we all had to box half our food) and the coffee was pretty good, though some people in our group felt I could use an extra shot of espresso in their lattes. Overall great and recommend it!

I've been a big fan of Hope since it opens. And I'm thrilled to see so many locations open. A new favorite of mine was the chicken and biscuit. I added an over easy egg for that delicious yolk burst. The chicken had the literal best hot honey drizzled all over it. Hard to eat but 1000% worth it. My partner had the chicken and waffles. This is the bone in version. So much chicken!! And that maple jalapeno syrup was spot on. Giving 4 stars because I feel like service has gone downhill. Even with a reservation, you can have quite the wait. They rush folks out of there and servers have so many tables, you can get forgotten for a while.

Fast and friendly service, lots of vegetarian options, and a nice cozy space. I highly recommend the blackened cauliflower dish!! Everything I want in a classic breakfast plate, but no meat. Hits the spot!

Cute place with lots of seating outside. Too bad it was a chilly day. We were sat upstairs and our server was really nice. I ordered the carrot cake pancakes and they didn't seem quite cooked fully cooked. It tasted sticky and gritty like uncooked batter. She was very apologetic and put in a different order for me - Hope's breakfast. It was traditional with bacon, sunny side up eggs and hash. I guess I decided to play it safe after that. Other guests liked their smoked salmon and eggs and pillow pancakes. The thermos to keep coffee warm was a nice touch. Very cute place with a lot of character. Will give them another go when I'm in town for sure.

    Hawaiian Bowl
    Tiffany W.

Excellent! My girlfriend and I made a reservation for 2 for a Saturday brunch at 11 am. The online reservation process was a breeze. Do plan extra time for parking as there is not a dedicated lot, yet street parking does exist. We got seated upstairs which I thought was so cool being in a historic building overlooking some of downtown. There were some awesome MN edgy art paintings upstairs as well. I adored the Hawaiian bowl and Pistachio Cardamom espresso drink. As an avid coffee fan, I appreciated the vast array of espresso options on the menu. It was very hard to choose one. The one downfall (and I won't even erase a star for this) is that my friend ended up bringing her son on a last minute whim and when she called to ask for an extra highchair, the staff were very strict that there was only room for 2 chairs. Long and behold, when everything was all settled, we were able to add an extra normal chair and the world didn't collapse.

A few notes to set the scene I went today for lunch on a lovely 70 degree Spring day after getting a haircut across the street to check some work emails, grab a beer and quick lunch to go order. Awesome guy, and reason enough to check this place out The vibe/softly playing music and entrancing Twin Cities flyover footage playing in the background on the TV at the bar was oddly soothing Ordered brisket tacos, brussels sprouts, and fried chicken sandwich for myself + a friend to go. Yamahama, I'm not gonna cheat and double check the menu, but the brussels have a delicious umami flavor from either duck fat or facsimile that perfectly balances the acid from the balsamic/vinegar situation. Fried chicken sandwich is a KILLER, highly recommend. Relatively easy to find, though you do have to hunt a little bit, Flora Room sits behind a nondescript metal door leading down a short hallway to the entrance. Take a long moment to allow your eyes to adjust if you're coming before sunset; this space is DARK. It's also perfect. Once your "night vision" kicks in you're surrounded by a nice bar, numerous bistro-style tables and booths. Candles adorn the tables creating a nice, cozy place to settle in for drinks. Once seated in comfortable chairs at a table, we were quickly greeted and provided with menus. The cocktail selection is relatively "small" but really nicely varied. Prices seemed a tad steep but frankly, given the quality of the drinks I'd say quite worth it. I started out with the Evita, a nice flavorful gin-base cocktail topped with a nice egg white foam. Very tasty. My wife opted for the Tapaculo, with gin, mezcal, pineapple, banana and bitters over ice. Also quite good. There are also bites available from the associated restaurant I can't recall the name of mine but I can say it was delicious. Bread-like bites with a really tasty dipping sauce. To close out the visit I selected Palo, a smoked aged rum cocktail that was really nice and rich. My wife chose the Nahualito with rum, walnut, amontillado and white chocolate. All should be on your radar. Flora Room really fit the bill for a nice, intimate speakeasy-style spot to spend time. Dark and cozy. The food is just...awesome! Presentation is completely unique, including flaming drinks, an assortment of vessels for the dishes to accommodate the dish with an interesting flare without compromising ease of consuming or taste. Patatas bravas, tequenos, and rompe colchon were excellent. I mean mouth wateringly amazing. Shrimp in the rompe colchon was cooked PERFECTLY and the balance of the sour leche de tigre and mango made the dish interesting for the palate. Broccolini side dish was also cooked perfectly and the cheese foam gave a unique twist to the side dish. I ordered the bollitos pelones and OH MY GOODNESS. Think huge fried (but not greasy) ball of corn dough (like tamale but grains not so fine) stuffed with braised lamb and swimming in a dark, curry and spiced sauce. It was SOOOO GOOD and nothing like I'd ever had before. I also tried the pasta with rabbit and UMAMI! it was tasty. Also unique flavor that I cannot quite identify and the sauce to meat to pasta ratio was perfect. LOVED this experience and will 10000000% go back!
