I did this program about 6 years ago and would not recommend it for peri or post menopausal women…read more It took me ages to lose the barely 30 lbs and I had to pay extra to continue the program past the (I think?) 8 weeks. If you have any sort of hormonal fluctuations, this is not for you. I think the program is mostly designed for men or young women without hormonal issues. The diet is very structured so you'll find yourself at the grocery store looking at labels for a great deal of time; not good for someone with two jobs.

Did the program, paid a crazy amount. Received little to no support. My "coach" kept confusing me…read morewith someone else (through text) and made several references to the last time I was on the program--I was NEVER on this program before. And told her that several times. Prior to trying the program I lost weight doing what I call "Dirty Keto" and intermittent fasting. Basically, I dropped carbs and ate between 12 and 6 pm. I lost about 20 pounds in 6 weeks. Even though I lost weight, I wanted to lose more. So, after hearing the commercials and hearing that if you didn't lose the amount that said they would extend the program, I decided to try it...figuring they would know more than me, and I would lose even more weight than I did on my own. I didn't lose the promised weight so my program was "extended" which meant nothing more than to keep eating the way that I was. I was told that the provided pills weren't included in the extension because they weren't necessary......that really confused me.....Then why did I take them to start with??? I ended up losing about the same amount of weight in the same amount of time when comparing my individual attempt and the program. I was also able to maintain the weight loss between and after both attempts. If money is a motivating factor for you, then the program might work for you, because you paid nearly $1500. If you have some self control, I would recommend attempting it on your own. In a few weeks I am going to use "Dirty" Keto again -- not as strict and I give myself one cheat day a week. As a side note, I met my coach once, I went to office three times, each time it was a different person. Never met the doctor. When I asked about receiving a print out of the results of the "test" (machine you hold handles for about ten minutes) the printer was "broke." When I asked if I would be doing the same test when I finished the program, I was told, "No. The numbers would be different and I wouldn't understand what they meant." That made no sense to me as a baseline tells you where you started....what is the point if you don't know where you ended up?? There were red flags I obviously ignored....but I believed their ads and figured they knew more about weight loss than I did. Shame on me.
